The molarity of pure water is 55.5 mol/L. Is it just me, or is that number super satisfying?

I find I'm much more productive when I make a list of check marks, then write whatever I end up doing next to them.

I always either have lots of inspiration but no motivation, or tons of motivation and no inspiration. I'm not sure which sucks more.

“Everybody has a secret world inside of them. I mean everybody. All of the people in the whole world, I mean everybody — no matter how dull and boring they are on the outside. Inside them they’ve all got unimaginable, magnificent, wonderful, stupid, amazing worlds… Not just one world. Hundreds of them. Thousands, maybe.”

Is this ever gonna come back at all? what's everyone up to?
Granted. You have the ticket and are all ready to go, but as soon as you leave your house you are knocked out by your stalker and later wake up in their basement with no idea how much time has passed. You've most likely missed the match and unfortunately tickets obtained through magic are non-refundable.

granted. two timelines converge on each other, the one you were in and one where you had never existed in the first place. Now everyone else has a double and you are regarded as a strange but alright oddity in this new timeline.

I'm gonna wait a bit, but I am still here. I'll probably post after whoever posts next.
@Thread Generator SIN yikes. ok, I'm still here and will still be here whenever you choose to either continue this topic or reboot the whole RP.

@Venom hasn't been on since the last time he told us he was waiting on Blue, in 5 days I'd say it's pretty safe to assume that RL came up and dragged him away for a bit. I hope everything's okay there, or will turn out okay if it's not

I know @Laach and @MisterMisery have said they may be able to post soon, but if they've had a week anything like mine so far I don't blame anyone for not being able to get the will up to post. Work/school is a pain and RL in general can be pretty draining.

SIN, if I could make a suggestion? You don't need to wait for everyone to post before moving on with a GM post. Most, if not all, of the RPs I've joined where the GMs wouldn't do anything until everyone had replied has ended up in a similar situation to ours right now, and most have died from one or two people who wait a week between posts. Yes, I know this can cause people who consistently take longer to respond to fall behind (such as myself in many of the more advanced RPs I'm in) but if the pace of the IC is what's really bugging you this is the best way to solve that.

You posting more regularly or more often (like whenever you feel there's beginning to be a lag) will give those players who are active more to respond to and keep a healthy flow of IC interaction going on, and any players who are falling behind due to things like writer's block or lack of will and motivation to post may see what other players are doing and be revitalized by that, jumping back into the fray when they can. So long as players that can't post due to RL keep you informed of that, we can dance around their character so that when they come back they don't have to reply to everything they missed, but rather can jump in as soon as they're back.

finally, a little tip to help you do more posts if you want to go with this little idea I've lain out: think of yourself as a player too. You control all the NPCs, and so have the most sway with what happens in a scene. not every post you make needs to respond to every player and what their character is doing at the moment, you could post one paragraph at a time replying to each person individually if you wanted. Believe me, the less you have to do at any one time, the easier and more fun it is to do it.

I hope I'm not scaring anyone with this text wall.

~| The Jedi Temple on Coruscant |~
~| Day 1, 11th hour |~

Shiri wasn't really paying attention to anything in particular as she walked through the various halls of the Temple, the symbolic tranquility of the grand structure she stood in lost on her as her thoughts kept her focus inward. She was aware of her Master walking ahead of her and her fellow Padawan, Cerria, but if they were speaking to her she did not hear them, would not hear them over the volume of the worries she felt.

A full week. It's been a week and she's heard nothing? Did it normally take this long for the council to decide something so... simple? The only reason they wouldn't have told her yet is because she failed, right? Shiri shook her head violently, attempting to shake the negative thoughts from her mind and leave them there in the middle of the hall to be trampled by every other person in the temple. This is the first time they've been back in the temple since she took the trials, the Council must just want to tell her their decision in person. Time passing isn't automatically a bad thing. "No news is good news" they say, but that saying was still a little off.

More like, "No bad news is good news."

She was pulled from her thoughts as the building shook violently around them, and just as she sensed the presence of the Dark side invading the temple, she began to hear the sounds of fighting from the Temple's entrance. She barely glanced at her Master before drawing her lightsaber and taking off through the halls, running towards the nearest Sith she could sense.
