Hey everyone..!

Just an update; due to real life issues arrising, Damo will be unable to post for a while. To help keep the roleplay moving along, and to take the pressure of posting off of him; my Co-GM's and I will be NPC'ing his characters until further notice.

Thank you for understanding.

Vic~
Out of the four people I mentioned in my last OOC post; only two responded.

As the GM, I need to know what's going on. I know that the roleplay was slow to start; however it has been three days since both Caits and I have posted, and nothing. Again, I realize that realize that real life can get in the way of things; but you need to start communicating with me so that I am kept in the loop.

This goes for everyone. It's unfair on others in the roleplay if they are forced to be kept waiting for so long; this is why I posted and moved the roleplay along in the first place.

As much as I don't like doing this, I feel like this is getting out of control before we really even have a chance to begin. I am putting down a deadline for posts. End of my working day; Monday 17th. If you haven't posted by then, I will take action. Once again; I really don't like doing this, however I feel three days is more than enough time to post, and should you not be able to, it isn't hard to just shoot me a message letting me know.
Like I said; no one is seeing the lighthouse yet; simply trying not to drown at this point
No one is seeing the entrance yet
@BlackPanther, @Mag Lev, @December, @Voltus_Ventus; hey guys..! I know this roleplay was a little slow starting, and I realize that real life does sometimes get in the way, but if we could pick up the pace a little, it would be much appreciated :'3

Sombra Burke

Location: Cedar Ash Inn.
Interacting With: Callie Lenson (@Caits), James Burke (@Damo021), and Alexis Farreacher (@Legion02).

“..no…”

Her attention drawn away from the happy little reunion quite some time ago, Sombra’s lips turned up in a small smirk. Well… that certainly didn’t take as long as she thought; it was a hard thing to do, but she had to admit, for once… she was a tad bit impressed. The gentle scrape of the leather against bark of the large tree in the front was what had first let her know that they were no longer alone. The accelerated heartbeat of one… the rather slow and steady beating of another.

So there were two of them… at least for now.

It was clear that if her mother was there waiting; her darling brother wouldn’t be too far behind. There was no doubt in her mind that her mother had told Alexander about this the very moment she’d found out that she was back in town.

“..no, it’s fine. I think I can manage on my own.” Turning her attention back to the woman in front of her, her smirk softened down into a smile, her hand lifting up to lightly brush a few stray strands of hair back and off her face as she continued on, the soft glint in her eyes a sign that (just like normal) she wasn’t going to be taking no as an answer from any of them on her decisions, “..besides, it’s not like our room number ever changes; and I’m sure that you and your… little witch have things that you need to get done today. I think that we’ve taken up enough of your morning; and we’ll be here for a few days, so there’s plenty of time to catch up later, don’t worry…”

Shooting a quick wink towards Callie, she reached out her hand, taking a hold of the bags one by one that James had carried in from the car, making sure she had a hold of them before she began to make her way towards the stairs, pausing and turning herself back to look at them as she hit the second one, “James; if you want to see your sister… now would be the best time to go; and when you do… you may want slip out the back, because I know for a fact you won’t like what’s waiting for you out the front.”

Holding his gaze for just a bit longer knowing that in the end he would take her advice like he always did, Sombra turned, once more making her way up the stairs, she followed the old though ever familiar path that led to the room that she and James had always shared whenever they had needed a place to stay. It hadn’t changed… or at least, it hadn’t changed from what she could tell. Though whether or not that was coincidental or on purpose, she couldn’t tell.

A gentle sigh falling out through her lips, Sombra made her way forward, placing the bags one by one down onto the bed before she glanced about, her dark gaze coming to a rest on the far window that looked out over the front, no hesitation seeming to come through her actions as she wandered over towards it, her arm lifting and the tips of her fingers brushing lightly over the curtains as she pulled it to the side, only holding it open just a tad so that she could look out over the front yard, the small smirk that she had earlier once again gracing her beautiful features as she spotted her mother standing in the shade of the large tree, with what looked like a young pup in her arms.

“..and let the games begin…”
@December; she watched her parents get murdered by supernaturals... and she's hunted by all; hunters and supers... Magnus is the first one she's trusted aside from her little sister. Can you blame her for being scared..?

Isaura Reese Eldars

Location: Flight BAW229; Los Angeles to London.
Interacting With: None.

The wind whipping past her as she fell, Isaura shut her eyes, letting go of her body as she allowed the thought of death to consume her. This was it… this was the end. The roaring silence of the raging waters was almost as deafening as the explosion that she had heard hitting the plane as she came into contact with the ocean, the freezing cold temperatures of the waves only helping to cement her thoughts as they pulled her under, dragging her down into the abyss that was waiting below.

Her body was aching… worse than ever before. The sharp pain from the sudden impact with the water starting in her back, before slowly, it began to spread outwards through her limbs only helping to make her feel worse. This wasn’t the way she wanted to go- not the way she had imagined it. She hadn’t gotten married… she hadn’t had kids of her own-...

She hadn’t lived.

Opening her eyes as the burning in her throat became more noticeable due to the lack of oxygen, she lifted her hand, her face scrunching up in a panicked fear as she pressed her palm against the front of her neck, frantically looking around in the darkness for any sign of which way was up.

That’s when she saw it… a gentle orange glow pulsing from somewhere just above her. It had to be the right way; there was no way it couldn’t be. Forcing herself to push past the pain and fatigue that began to consume her body, she began to kick her legs, her arms both scooping madly through the water as she headed towards the light; her lungs working overtime to suck in a deep breath the very moment that she managed to breach the surface. Taking a moment to rest, and to gather even the smallest shred of energy that she was going to need in order to find a way out of the water, Isaura turned, her head moving on a swivel as she searched the surrounding ocean, her legs kicking back and forth as she continued to wade, doing what she could to keep her head above the waves.

“..T-Theo…”

Her voice hoarse as she spoke, she widened her eyes, watching on in horror as the plane, or what was left of it, plunged down into the icy depths, taking with it the only two people in the world that she cared about at that moment, “..n-no… Theo..!”

Fighting against the constant back and forth of the ocean currents trying to carry her further out, she began to swim, her legs kicking hard behind her as she began to close the large gap that was between her and the wreck, her eyes darting about frantically as she searched for survivors of any kind- anyone besides her, though her mind was set strong on finding Theodore and Juliette…

She wasn’t going to lose them… s-she couldn’t…
