"..cannelés... macaroons... rose des sables... and madeleines..."

Naming off the various sweets as she placed the tray down on the small coffee table on the porch; Adeline ran her hands over the back of her skirt. Smoothing it out and holding it against the back of her legs as she took her seat. The sweet, alluring smell of cocoa and hazelnut wafting out of the mugs that she had sat in the very center of the tray; accompanied, of course, by a small handful of mini-marshmallows that floated, bobbing on the top of the hot chocolates that she'd made for them. Perhaps a little bit clumsily. She knew they weren't the best... she couldn't make them like her brother could. Where he used the stove and melting chocolate, she settled for the kettle and powdered cocoa. It was just easier. And unfortunately, it was the best she could do right now. At least until she got a little better in the kitchen.

Gently brushing some of her long orange locks back, she tucked them behind her ear. Hands eventually making their way to rest in her lap, though they were only there for a moment or two before she motioned towards the aroma coming from the assortment of French goodies that she'd put together- really, she couldn't be thankful enough that her brother took the time to label everything in the kitchen with braille.

"S'il vous plaît, creusez- bon appétit..!"

Corvus' mention of the stables had him hesitate in his steps as he pushed further and further away from the boy. Yes, Grey had mentioned going to the stables and had every intention of going there to see to Storm, but the opportunity to visit with Addie again when she was just so close. There was no competition there. Grey knew Storm was well taken care of while he was away, and he'd promised Addie he'd return to come see her. Although Greyson wasn't outright trying to ditch Corvus, he wasn't exactly the touchy-feely type. At least not with many..

Greyson took a quick glance behind him just in time to see Corvus fly off for the dining pavilion, sighing softly as he continued on his way towards the Morpheus cabin. Upon approaching the porch steps, Greyson came to a stop just before and gave a friendly nod to Michael before turning his eyes to Addie. "Pas vraiment pour les bonbons avant le déjeuner, ma chérie, peut-être plus tard?"

A small smile spread across his features as he stepped up onto the porch finally before crossing over to Addie where she sat on the daybed, gently lowering himself into the spot beside her. Grey reached his elbow out to lightly brush against her arm to let him know he was there, though he was more than sure she'd know from the shift of the daybed's cushion that he was sitting beside her.

Michael couldn't help but feel awkward as he watched Adeline make the hot chocolate. But then, Michael was often awkward around anyone. He just had to hope that Adeline didn't take it personally as he shifted his feet a little, shifting his weight from one foot to the other. He was too slow to return Greyson's nod, and he sighed softly, gaze moving from Adeline and Greyson, to the food she had prepared and around- always awkward. He knew he shouldn't be, but he just couldn't seem to help it. "T-t-thank you, A-A-A-Ad-d-" he cut himself off as he got caught in what could, quite possibly, be an endless stuttering cycle.

He tried to take a deep breath, tried to form the words in his mind before saying them, and tried again "T-thanks. Adeline... It's... g-guh-great."

The dip of the cushion beside her more than enough warning that someone had joined her on the daybed; Adeline's attention was drawn up towards the figure that was sat beside her. A gentle tinge of red spreading across the top of her cheeks and over the bridge of her nose. He was back- he said he would be. Heart fluttering lightly in the confines of her chest, a gentle smile played over her glossed lips. A soft sparkle flickering in her iris'.

"..bien sûr..!"

Nodding her head lightly, she paused. Her attention drifting away from him for a few moments as she allowed her thoughts to wander. Eventually drawing back to the man that she had been speaking to, "..if you wanted... I believe we have some tea in the kitchen. I don't think the one that Pierre drinks is sweet..."

A frown crossing over her features the longer she thought about it; it only remained there for the briefest of moments before it was gone again. Replaced once more by the sweet smile she normally wore as she brought her attention back to the group as a whole; including both men in the conversation, "Heh... merci beaucoup, Michael. Morning tea at a cafe was our family tradition back in Paris- mama would take us. It's the perfect way to start the summer, and... it's a nice way to get our minds off other things going on..."

Other things going on. Michael's thoughts, inevitably, went back to the mornings fiasco. Whatever was going to happen, they wouldn't know for a few days at least. Quests usually took time, and something like this... Michael tried to bring his thoughts back to the conversation at hand. "I... y-yes." He said, barely a hint of his usual stutter, his thoughts still on the drama going around. "Y-you're right... it is g-good to d-do that." If only he could succeed at it. It seemed that no matter what he did, he was always thinking of something, one way or another.

The son of Poseidon smiled and reached a hand out, giving her wrist a gentle squeeze. "I think I'll go ahead and get' som'. Thanks, luv." Greyson glanced over at Michael and noticed he had a cup already of hot cocoa, wondering if he should ask him anyway but ultimately decided against it. As he rose from his seat he padded his hands over his pockets when a thought suddenly occurred to him, raising a brow. He must have left his phone at the cabin this morning before heading out. Something quite common for the young man. He didn't care too much to keep track of the thing. His eyes turned on the son of Athena again, tilting his head a bit.

"Hey Mik', hav' yau sein yaur yaungest' sibling this morning, by chanc'? I haven't' sein her sinc' the fiasco this morning at' the tower."

Brynn? Michael looked to Greyson, thoughtful. He'd seen her go off, but he hadn't seen where she went. He had assumed back to the cabin, but... Shaking his head, he said, "N-no... I lingered at the s-s-stands. D-d-didn't s-s-s-see her."

Grey simply nodded his head to Michael's comment, rubbing his jaw as he pushed his way into the Morpheus cabin and headed for the kitchen to make the tea that Addie had offered for him to make. The only reason he'd even agreed to the beverage in the first place was the thought that maybe it might help him calm his nerves. As well as the son of Poseidon had perfected hiding his worries, the whole situation regarding his cousin was eating at him. I guess you could say that him and the son of Thanatos didn't have that much different between them. They both had a savior complex.

As Greyson fixed up the tea for himself, he hummed a tune to himself. A song by Sam Cooke that had been stuck in his head since early this morning.

Michael couldn't help but feel like he hadn't given the right answer, that he had somehow disappointed Grey. Before he could think that through, as Dioynsus' voice rang through the camp. Why did he want to see him? Michael couldn't think of anything he had done wrong, let alone any reason for him to be summoned with the others. "I... I g-g-g-guess I s-s-should g-g-go..."

Lips parting slightly at the seam, Adeline's head lifted at the sound of the Gods voice ringing out through the camp. And with each name that was spoken out loud, her heart sunk. Michael..? Greyson... Both of them were being called; but why..? What more could have possibly happened, or-... were they in trouble..?

"..o-oh..."

Having just barely finished making his tea, Dionysus' voice caught his attention, pausing his stirring to listen in. As names continued to be called, his own in the mix, Grey's brow raised up. Among several demi-gods being called, Sawyer was also being called upon. It had to be a retrieval quest for a demi-god. Search-and-rescue. Still.. Greyson put everything away neatly where it had been, rinsing out the pot he'd used for the tea and set it in the dish drying rack before slowly making his way out from the cabin to join Addie and Michael on the porch.

A soft sigh escaped the son of Poseidon as his eyes fell on his friends before him, chewing on the inside of his lip a moment before taking a long sip of his tea. "I guess we best' get' a mov' on. Don't' want' to keip Mr. D. waiting." Taking another quick sip of his tea, not wanting too much of it to go to waste, Grey gently placed a hand on Addie's shoulder as a light frown crossed his features. His voice softer than before as he spoke directly to her.

"Thank yau for the tea, luv. As always.." Squeezing her shoulder lightly, he turned his attention to Michael as he set his tea cup down on the table. "Ready?"

Michael really didn't think there was any answer to that question. What even were they going to face, another challenge by the gods, or was it a normal quest? With the way this day was going, it could be anything. He sighed, and said "S-s-sure" He set aside his cup and stood, grabbing Moe's leash, and nodding, "T-thanks" he said quickly to Adeline, and starting off to the big house.

"..B-Brandon..?"

The doors of the elevator having slid open once they'd reached the right level; Ky' vie's heart skipped a beat. Her naturally pouted lips parting ever slightly as her dark eyes found their way to the familiar figure of the very man that she and her brother had been speaking about only minutes beforehand. It really was true then what people said; how when you speak of the devil, he shall appear. Not that she considered Brandon Murphy to be a devil of any kind- well...

Train of thought trailing off, a gentle tinge of red appearing across the top of her cheeks, Ky stepped away from her brother's hold. Her hand reaching out to keep the door from closing on them. Had she asked him to come down here, and just forgotten..? No... No, she wouldn't be so careless as to forget organizing to meet with him. Glancing back over her shoulder, her eyes meeting with that of Beau, she eventually brought her attention back to the son of Ares. Staring at him a spell longer before her mind came to and she moved forward. Passing him by as she crossed over to the sealed door leading into her main workspace.

Hand reaching out, she placed it on the screen located to the side of the door. Holding it there for a few moments longer before she moved to open the door for the both of them, her gaze returning to Brandon, "..what are you doing here..? I thought you were heading off to train or something after you left earlier..."

At the sound of Ky' vie's voice, Brandon spun around on the spot, clutching the straps of his backpack with a bit of a grin. His eyes caught Ky's brother behind her, nodding in greeting to him before his eyes met with hers again.

"Well, don't sound so happy to see me," he chuckled softly, staying where he stood as Ky went to open up the door to her workspace. Bran shrugged lightly, readjusting his grip on his pack straps. "Came back by your place to grab the revolver... you weren't there, so I thought this would be the next best place to check before I leave."

Opening her mouth to respond, Ky's voice caught in her throat before she had the chance to form so much as a syllable. Before he left..? And that was when it dawned on her. The quest. He was going- of course he was going. Why wouldn't he..? It was Erin, after all. Four years and nothing really had changed there aside from both of them had become more comfortable in the camp that they didn't need to be at each others side twenty-four seven any longer. Still though.. quests weren't something that could be taken lightly. And even though part of her was now worried about him, she knew better than anyone that he was more than capable of looking after himself, as well as others when it came down to it.

Besides... there was no talking him out of something once he had his mind set on it...

"..come on... I'll set you up with what you need..." Motioning for him to follow, her eyes flicking across to meet with her brother's. Reaching her hand out, she motioned for him too to follow before eventually giving them both her back. Holding the door open long enough for one of them to catch it behind her; she flicked a switch close to her. The various rows of lights flicking to life in an instant, illuminating the large room and everything that was in it as she took the steps down from the doorway and further into the workspace. Completely non-pulsed as she began past the large towering structure that she had been working on meticulously for the past God knew how many months, "..the new system I'm working on is this way, Beau- so are the firearms I've been experimenting with, babe... you're going to need more ammo than what I showed you if you're taking the revolver with you."

Beau returned the nod towards Brandon as Ky' vie pulled away, catching the slight tint on her cheeks. It was cute seeing her like this again. Distracted and a little bit more carefree, and as much as he didn't trust Brandon, he was happy for his sister. He had to admit; they made a nice couple. Ky could match Brandon's fire, just like he matched hers. Beau just wondered if they'd managed not to burn each other or everything around them.

Catching the door behind Ky' vie, Beau, let Brandon pass before he went in himself. His gaze was instantly pulled towards the large structure that took up almost the whole room. His eyes traced over the various panels, wires, and metals that made up this towering invention. Ky had always had a talent of being an extremely productive person, something Beau had always been a bit jealous of. While she was able to lose herself in her work, he was always stuck with a hundred ideas and projects simultaneously. Even now, with everything happening between Ky and Brandon, she seemed more focused than him.

"Yeah..." Beau kept his eyes on the stricture, still trying to wrap his mind around his sister's ability to create such amazing things. The woman was like fucking Tony Stark. Beau was sure if Corona and Ky worked together, they might as well create the Iron man suit.

Beau's attention returned to his sister and Brandon when she mentioned the revolver. So, Brandon was part of the quest? It wasn't a surprise, really. He was more worried about Ky, but by the way, she was either okay with it or just really good at hiding it. Probably the latter, just by the way her words trailed just the slightest.

Beau suddenly felt like he should leave these two alone, let them say their goodbyes. Too bad both things were in the same place; Tartarus, he hoped it wouldn't get awkward.

It was hard to miss. Even harder for him not to immediately recognize what she was working on. Brandon's eyes lingered as his jaw dropped open slightly, openly staring at the large structure before them. It was only a matter of moments before he shook himself free of his shock at what he was looking at, turning his attention to Ky' vie as he caught up with her. Her use of the pet name causing a slight smile to curve the corners of his lips upward.

"Can it make the Kessel Run in less than 12 parsecs?" he smirked at Ky' vie, giving the structure one last glance before he moved in closer to Ky' vie, hands still grasping his pack straps.

"That would be great, babe. Was sure to grab it before I left the cabin, definitely wasn't going to leave without it." He had more he could have said but figured he'd save Beau from the embarrassment of having to overhear it, chuckling to himself. Brandon's eyes pulled back to the Falcon once more, shaking his head with a slight smirk as he looked it over.

She was crazy. Crazy talented, but holy cow. The things she was capable of never ceased to amaze him. It was one of the many things he admired about the daughter of Hephaestus. One of the things that drew him in. The feeling was almost uncomfortable, but not unwelcome. Ky' vie Morgan. Who'd have thought... definitely not Brandon, that's for sure.

"..when she's done; you can take her for a spin and we'll find out."

Head turning, Ky dared a glance back over her shoulder at the man she was responding to. Her dark eyes lingering on Brandon a moment; it was his reaction to her current project though that had her lips turning up in a rather pleased smirk. Despite the fact that he was more into fantasy than he was into sci-fi; she knew enough about her man to know that he appreciated such things as the podracers, and perhaps even more so, the Falcon itself. The franchise that was Star Wars might not have made it to the very top of his list, but-... Well, it was high enough on it that it sometimes turned 'Netflix and Chill' nights into 'Netflix and Babe, Why Aren't You Watching..? This Is The Best Part' nights.

..it was just one of the many things she loved about him...

It also helped to push her work in ways she never exactly dreamed possible. Eyeing him a few moments longer, her mind lingering on all the projects she'd begun designing and making reality purely because he had shown an interest in them, or had managed to somehow pique her interest; Ky eventually turned her attention back to where they were going. Leading both her brother and the son of Ares away from the Millennium Falcon, and instead over to a self-sectioned off area of the level where she'd built walls up to create a more modern work-space environment than that of what they'd already seen. And passing through the open arch that served as the door, she reached out to it. Finger tapping a button on the wall, it was only a moment later that the many monitors she used for her work lit up.

"Okay... lets start with you, Beau." Smiling softly, glancing back at him as she moved forward, she slowed as she reached a large table in the center of the room. Her body leaning forward slightly, she grabbed a pair of bracelets attached by what looked like circuitry to rings. Slipping them on so the circuitry ran over her palm and up each of her fingers, she tapped the top of the desk before twisting her hand and raising it up; causing the screen to rise up into the air for them all to see, "..so this is what I've been working on for the Falcon. I call her Elthree... for reasons. Anyway; I've taken inspiration from both Star Wars and Marvel for this one- specifically Iron Man, and his A.I Jarvis. The technology itself is a combination of holo-technology and augmented reality; though, I've tried to keep the latter to a minimum. She doesn't talk to you, at least not yet... but I'm still working on her. She should be able to serve you well, especially with planning out your new projects."

There it was, Beau thought as he saw that little look Ky' vie had whenever she looked at Brandon. It was something he'd thought he'd never seen again, and as much as he had doubts about Brandon, he was happy for them. Beau followed his sister and Brandon, eyes glancing over the various projects and schematics Ky had lying around the place, and as many projects she had, it was a lot more organized than Beau's smaller bunker.

Bunker 15, the place that Beau had called a second home since he arrived at camp, was a lot smaller than Ky' vie's. He didn't need the space; he wasn't building any Falcons, weapons, or any giant flashy robotics. Beau preferred the art of making over everything else. His creations were often more mundane and abstract; they served no other purpose than to be looked at and admired. Beau had always been intrigued by the idea of building something bigger, something made of metal with circuits and fancy tech that talked to you, but that wasn't him. He already looked like his mother; he didn't actually want to be her.

And yet, he was going to work on something inspired by her own work.

Beau's attention was brought back when Ky' vie addressed him, dark eyes moving to the table at the center of the room. He whistled with amazement as he watched his sister place the bracelets on her wrists and twist her hands a certain way before the screen rose before them. Beau, completely amazed, once again, began to circle the table with critical eyes. "You just keep surprising, Ky." He laughed, watching the bracelets and rings on her hands before moving on to what was on the screen. It was a lot more than Beau had in mind, but he had started to expect the unexpected from his siblings. No one knew what they were capable of.

"I think Elthree will be the perfect tool to help me with what I'll be working on." Beau nodded, his hand rubbing the stubble under his chin as he leaned in closer to study the screen. A powerful machine and AI like this one would be able to handle what he had been trying to put into paper for the last few weeks, "Is she software or hardware? I'll need to see how I can plug her into my existing system up in my room since my bunker is usually filled with sawdust" Beau should really get an upgrade in his bunker or find a way to separate his woodwork from the rest of it.

Brandon had been so caught up in the ship itself that he hadn't been paying much attention to what was being said. It wasn't until Ky' vie firmly grasped a handful of his shirt at his chest and began pulling him along that he realized they were moving on to the next room, chuckling softly with a bit of a sheepish grin.

"My bad," he muttered, playfully flicking at her hand to let his shirt go as he followed behind her as she wanted him to. Watching her walk away from him a moment before he started to zone out, his mind wandering on about the quest as Beau and Ky' vie spoke. One of the only things he picked up from Ky's words was the name of the AI she created and that there were reasons she had created her. The thought made him smirk a bit, shaking his head lightly as he quickly pulled his phone out of his back pocket and pulled up his text thread with Erin.

Sending Erin a quick message telling her where he was and that he shouldn't be long before he was ready to go, he shoved his phone back in his jeans pocket before pulling his gaze back up to the two in front of him. His eyes caught the monitor and really got a look at the A.I. Ky' vie had been talking about. Elthree. A smirk spread across the young son of Ares' face, stepping closer to better inspect it for himself, standing just behind Beau.

"You really put everyone to shame here at camp, Ky. Elthree didn't talk after they uploaded her neural core into The Falcon's navicomputer, either, but I'm sure you'll have it figured out in no time, Princess."

Just keep surprising... Put everyone to shame...

The gentle blush that had covered the tops of her cheeks grew brighter; creeping further over her features at the compliments that were thrown her way. Really, she wasn't looking for any kind of praise; and she never expected any either. What she did, she enjoyed. And wasn't that all that mattered..? With the sheer amount of people in camp that enjoyed gaming, or that used computers and other systems in one way or another; didn't it just make sense that she would put her all into maintaining and perfecting the programming and servers that they used so frequently..? It was just part of her job at the camp. But then, could it really be considered a job when it was something she simply enjoyed doing..? Or was it more of a hobby..? She wasn't sure.

"..heh, please... it's like you with you creating a masterpiece out of wood, or you with a blade in your hand..." Shaking her head lightly, Ky's dark gaze flicked back and forth between the both of them as she spoke. And biting down gently on her lower lip, chewing on it a moment, her features softened. Giving a light, almost dismissive shrug of her shoulders in response. Brushing it off, perhaps even a little shyly, "..it's just in my nature to create these things. I'm nothing special, I know that. Besides, there's so many things I can't do that others here in this camp can..."

Hand drawing up, she lightly brushed some of her long and wavy red locks back. Neatly tucking them behind her ear before she began to remove the circuitry bracelets and rings from herself; and instead passing them over to her brother with a soft smile so that he could test it out for himself, "She's a mixture of both hardware and software; so when we do integrate her into your existing system, we might have to do a small upgrade, but for the most part, you should be right. As for the sawdust though... we can work around it. What I'll do is install the same holo-tech that I have in this table, into your new desk. This way, you can use it like you would right here. But I'll also install a regular screen over your workspace so you can use that if you ever wish to. Easy enough to get you a dust-proof screen or two."

Beau nodded along as Ky explained what she had in mind. His brows pulled together, watching her remove the bracelets and rings before taking them and trying them on himself. Careful with the wires and circuits, Beau slipped on the machinery on himself. An almost childish smile spread over his features; it was like opening a brand new toy, except the toy was probably worth thousands of dollars. With now the system secured on his hands, Beau twisted his wrist, much like his sister had, to test the holo program.

"Holy fucks, Ky, this is so cool!" He almost wanted to laugh, would have if Brandon wasn't here watching them.

Right.

"You should help Bran out; I'll stay here and play around with Elthree and see what she can do before we get started on the transferring and all the fun stuff." He glanced over to Bran, giving the guy a small nod before returning his attention to Ky. "Promise I won't break anything." If he did, she'd probably chop off his head and use it to decorate one of her machines.

"..you better not break anything... else I'll unleash my vector on you."

Narrowing her eyes on her brother; it was nevertheless clear as day that Ky was merely joking with him. The small, though playful smirk that danced across her bright lips was more then enough evidence of that. Besides... she knew Beau well enough to know that he'd never intentionally break anything she made. And if something ever did happen to break, then it wasn't his fault; it was hers. Clearly. And she needed to re-think the design and durability of her creation.

Turning her attention after another moment or two to the other man in the room, she reached out. Giving a light tug on his sleeve in order to first get his attention before motioning for him to follow. Whether she liked it or not, Brandon was going on this quest, and there was nothing she could do about it, really, other than make sure that he was as prepared for whatever it was that got thrown their way. And honestly, that could be anything. Quests were dangerous. She knew that from personal experience, and if she didn't have her step-mother and legacy looking out for her the way that Aglaea did, she'd also have the physical scars as proof. Leading her favorite son of Ares away from her brother, through an open arch off to the side of her tech room, Ky lifted her hand as she approached another door. Reinforced. Steel- it was clear that even when she was in her workspace, she didn't want others getting into this particular section without her supervision.

Pressing her palm against the screen beside it, waiting a moment or two for it to accept her palm; Ky's attention turned to the door as it opened. And stepping to the side, she motioned for Bran to go in ahead of her, "..welcome to my personal weaponry... Let's get you fitted out for your quest, yeah..?"

"Somehow I really don't think unleashing your vector on him is that much of a threat," he chuckled softly, eyes lingering on the device on Beau's wrist. The wonders of Ky' vie Morgan never ceased to impress him. Bran made a mental note to ask her about Elthree later and see if he couldn't also check out the A.I. up close and personal. For now, his attention was turned back to the daughter of Hephaestus as she tugged at his sleeve, giving her a light smile before turning to follow her.

The few times Brandon had been down in her section of Bunker 9, he'd seen the reinforced steel door a time or two and of course, his curiosity had been peaked. The fact Ky was going to open it up and reveal it's contents had Brandon excited, but it was nothing compared to the feeling that hit once the door finally opened up. His jaw clenched tight in an attempt to keep it from hitting the floor as he stared in awe at the room full of weapons, hesitantly pushing himself further into the brightly lit room while his eyes wandered over every last one. If there was a moment he could choose to die, it'd be right now. Brandon Murphy was in heaven.

"Alright, Tonya Stark," he said to her without turning his eyes from the room or hardly even turning to face her behind him, "First the Falcon, now this? ...I think I'm in love." Bran chuckled softly, wandering over to one of the walls with a few rifles hanging from it to take one down. Holding out the Amethi AK-203 aimed down at the floor with one hand, the young man twisted it around to check it out before bringing the stock firmly against his shoulder to take aim with both hands now on the gun.

Like a kid in a candy shop, Brandon couldn't wipe the huge grin on his face as he slowly dropped the weapon from his shoulder and hung it back in it's place. He knew what he'd want to take along with him, but he was curious to know what she had in mind for him. Eyes still wandering around the room, Bran turned his head as he spoke to Ky. "You spoil me. Seriously, this.." He couldn't even finish his sentence. He was in heaven.

The son of Ares' eyes landed on a .22 rifle, tilting his head as his mind began to run. A .22 would more than likely kill the damned bird... though a tranq gun might come in handy if Thunder Thighs and Feather Brain couldn't help on the bird-front. Turning his attention to Ky' vie now, his brow raised slightly. "We're headed to Rome to retrieve this damn pigeon. Bringing along Carlos, Spencer, Tyler, Zeru with Erin and I. If Zeru and Tyler can't manage to put two halves of an idiot together to get the bird.. I'll have to step in. A .22 round would kill the thing, though. Have any tranq guns with a dosage low enough to not kill it?"

Three... four... Six names. There were so many of them going on this quest- it wasn't something that happened very often, and there was a good damn reason as to why. It was dangerous. Demigods were like a lure; and those who were children of the big three..? They were a lure with their own theme music and gigantic glowing neon signs pointed in their general direction. Having a large group of demigods gathering outside of the safety barrier of the camp was literally just inviting trouble. It was like holding your arms out and screaming your location to the sky. Just daring the monsters to come and try their luck at you.

"..I think I have just the thing..."

Pushing the worrying thoughts towards the back of her mind - she didn't need to dwell on them at the moment, she'd do it later - Ky' vie finally stepped into the room. Her dark gaze raking over the various shelves for a moment; she wandered past him. Her hands reaching out and body leaning over slightly as she pulled open one of the lower draws. Removing from it a large and rather weighted silver case, Ky turned and placed it down on the top of the island cabinet. Flicking the locks before opening it for him to see the gun that was held inside of it, "This... is a tranquilizer rifle. It's a seventy-one centimetre rifled barrel with an eleven millimetre bore; and the range on it is between one and sixty metres. As for the darts..."

Her foot sliding back, pulling her body with her slightly as she took the chance to glance at the draws on that particular side of the island bench; Ky' vie eventually pulled one of them open. Taking out a smaller, wooden case which she placed down beside the first. Only using a single hand to open this one, however, "..I think this dosage should be okay- it's the standard for medium to small sized birds; but then again, this isn't a normal everyday dove. So we won't actually know it's effective until you manage to hit it."

The look on her face said it all. Of course the mention of six demigods going on a quest together was just asking for trouble. All that attention... the larger the number, the bigger the target. Maybe they'd interpreted the prophecy wrong and maybe only three were meant to go and they stood against three who were truly behind the theft of the goddess' symbol. Or 4x2, or even 5x1. For all 6 of them to be going was still something that was weighing on Bran, as well. He couldn't blame Ky if the news made her feel some type of way. He just wasn't about to say no to a challenge, even if it got him killed in the end. His best friend's life was on the line, and his father was the one threatening it. If anyone had a right to feel guilty over the position she was in or entitled to personally seeing this to the end, it was gonna be Brandon.

It wasn't until Ky brought out the silver case that his feet slowly began to carry him around the island counter till he was standing behind her off to the side a bit, taking a peek at the case as the girl before him talked. After she pulled the second case out, Bran took a step closer and finally removed his thumbs from his pack straps, slipping his hands over her waist gently as he stood behind her and looked over everything laid out before them, nodding his head. "This should do. Hopefully it does the job with the first go, if not.. that's what a second round's for." The son of Ares chuckled softly, pulling his hands from her waist to instead place them on her shoulders, giving them a firm squeeze.

"With the lot of us, should make quick work of this. I don't see why it shouldn't be a piece of cake." Bran's thumbs rubbed over the back of her neck with his hands still holding onto her shoulders, taking a look down at the daughter of Hephaestus. "What do I owe you in return?"

The feeling of his fingers working into her skin; a soft hum fell past the open seam of her lips. Her body falling back lightly, leaning gently against his own as his words played in her mind. What did he owe her..?

"..nothing..."

The response slipping from her mouth without so much as a second thought, it was a few moments longer before Ky' vie turned in his arms. Her dark gaze drawing up to meet with his as she brought her hands to his sides. Fingers curling gently, "..just-... just make sure you come home- you better fucking come home, Bran... but..."

Hesitating a moment, her eyes searching his, she continued on. Her voice a little softer than before, "..I mean... if you did want to pay me back, I won't stop you... we both know what I want..."

"Well, there's always an upside to having a child of Hades for a best friend. If I die, you know damn well she'd drag my ass back from the Underworld. I'm not getting out of this life easy so long as she's around," Bran smirks, chuckling softly as his eyes fall down to her hands at his sides. Peaking towards the door momentarily to check that Beau wasn't standing within view, Bran turned back to Ky a moment before leaning down, pressing his lips to hers lightly.

"Hey, while I'm gone.. do you think you could look after Bolin for me? I'd ask Octavia or Elias, but he just doesn't listen to anyone the way he listens to you...for.. whatever reason." Bran shakes his head with a smirk, tilting his head at her. "If it's too much, I know Brynn would watch him. Bolin misses his girlfriend Shea," he laughed at that, his hand reaching up to brush a strand of loose hair behind her ear. "If you could though, I'd appreciate it. I'd owe you double."

"You don't even have to ask; it's a given." Of course she'd look after Bolin- did he really expect that she'd do anything less..? Sure the canine could be a little bit of a shithead, especially when he was in one of his more playful moods, but... she loved that dog just as much as she loved Brandon. Even when that meant she had to chase him around the cabin to get her bra's back after he'd stolen them from her laundry, "I'll take good care of him just like I always do, you know that."

"Thanks, gorgeous." Bran flashed her a charming grin before checking his watch, the slightest hint of a frown touching the corners of his lips. His eyes turning up to meet with hers once more before he gently dropped his hands from hers and stepped around her to step in front of the case with the rifle inside, making sure all the clips to the case were secure. Pulling his pack off from his back, he quickly unzipped the thing and shoved the small wooden box down into it on top of his things. Once everything was secured he slipped his pack back on and pulled the case from the table, holding it at his side as he turned to face Ky' vie again.

"Better head top-side. Don't wanna be late." Bran stepped towards the door before coming to a stop again, looking at her. "I don't imagine you'll be seeing me off. I know you got a lot on your plate. So, I'll uh... I'll see you later, yeah?"

And just like that, he was going again. It wasn't the first time for either of them- they were both veterans when it came to questing; coming and going probably more than most of the other in the camp, but...

"..Brandon, wait..." Turning on the spot, Ky's long red locks brushed over her back as she reached out. Her hand taking a gentle though firm hold of his free one before he could get too far away from her. It still sucked. Stepping forward to meet with him as she urged him to turn back around; she met her lips to his. Allowing them to linger, fingers curling against his palm a moment, before she began to move her hands between them. Removing a band from around her wrist, to instead slip it around his own. Explaining only once she drew back for a breath "..you need me, for anything - more ammo, back up, a ride; anything - you bloody well call me... an' if you find yourself in a bind, press the button on the wristband... it summons Stormbreaker..."

His attempt to turn and head off was cut short. His attention quickly snapped to his wrist as the girl transferred over the wristband, raising a brow as he brought his gaze up to meet hers. Though he knew she meant well and that she cared for him, Bran wasn't about to get all mushy. Instead, he took a rather different approach, though still joking around with her in an attempt to keep the mood light. "What? Don't think I can handle myself, mm?"

"I know you can." Shaking her head lightly, her voice cutting over his before he could finish his sentence; Ky' vie gave him a small, half-hearted smile. Gently squeezing his hand as she held his gaze, "..which is why I'm not kickin' up a big stink 'bout you goin' without me. This is the only way I can help you, babe; at least for the moment. So, I'm gunna give you the best I got. And when you get home..."

Pausing a moment, her smile widening slightly, she gave him a playful wink, "..I'll give you the best of what my lingerie draw has; might have bought something you haven't seen yet..."

Babe. There it was again. Part of Brandon wanted to tell her to stop calling him that, though of course it one point he had but she just ignored him and used it anyway. Probably because she knew it annoyed him, at first.. though as time went on it seemed to just be a norm for her to use the term. Something Bran had grown kind of fond of hearing, though he'd never admit to it. It being part of the reason why he wished she would stop.

Nothing about what they were or what they did was exactly official. More of an unspoken agreement than anything. "Yeah, no." Bran chuckled softly, giving her hand a gentle squeeze back before letting go to lift it up to take hold of her chin lightly as he stared down into her eyes. "Think I've seen you in just about every little number you've got, princess. You know whatever you've got won't stay on long, anyways. Especially being gone a whole week? Mm. You'll be lucky if they're still in tact by the time I'm through with you."

Bran chuckled softly, staring into her eyes another moment or two before he leaned in, pressing his lips to hers one last time. Pulling back, the son of Ares readjusted his backpack strap and gave her a look. "Stay out of trouble while I'm gone."

"..always."

Hands falling back down to her sides, this time she made no move to follow after him. Her soft smile slowly fading from her lips as she continued to watch him. She couldn't keep him any longer than she already had. He had to get moving- the sooner they left, the sooner they were able to come back, "Just... be careful..."

Brandon simply nodded. He didn't have anything more to say. At least nothing worth saying. If he said any more he was afraid he'd be held up even longer. They had a tendency to do that, from time to time. As if seeing who would be the one to have the last word. The thought made him laugh. Today, though, she'd have it.

Giving her one last reassuring grin, Bran turned his back to her and pushed his way out of the bunker, hitting the button for the elevator doors. There was no wait as the double doors slid open, allowing for the son of Ares to step inside and press the button for the ground level. The doors hesitated a few seconds before closing in front of him, bringing him up towards the surface. A deep sigh escaped him as he stared down at his shoes. A long week was ahead of them.

"Mmm... well, it was either that, or your lightsaber."

The soft chuckle falling through her lips so naturally; Erin didn't even need to so much as turn around to know who was in her room. It really didn't surprise her in the least, his little visit. No. What did surprise her, however, was just how long it had taken him to get there. The gossip wheel of camp must have been churning real slow; perhaps both Alina and Katherine were still in bed... or high... that would explain their lack of attentiveness to spread whatever news floated through their ears and into those little heads of theirs. But even she had to admit that at least ninety-seven percent of the time, the pair were accurate.

Gaze lifting away from the suture kit she'd been given as a gift back in middle school- something she hadn't used in years, and hoped she never needed to again; she rolled it back up. And only after clipping it shut did she slip it into her bag. Her arms falling back to rest down by her sides as finally, she turned to face the man that had come to see her. Her dark eyes the lifting up his figure until, after what felt like an eternity, she met them with his own. Ezra. Almost immediately she felt her body relaxing. Tension seemed to just leave her whenever he was there- it was strange. The connection that had built up between them so quickly and from their very first meeting; it was natural. Easy. It was comfortable; and even that very day two years prier, she'd already felt like she'd already known him for years.

"..you know, the one you liberated from the set of 'Rise of Skywalker'... at least this way, I thought I might just get away with it." A soft smile dancing across her dark lips, Erin's hands made their way into the pocket of the hoodie she wore. Her shoulders giving a light shrug.

The girl's words made the smirk on his face spread further across his features, snorting lightly at her reply. Part of him couldn't help but be just a tiny bit proud that she actually had paid attention and remembered which movie he'd taken his prop from. Of course Adam had first dibs and had taken his Kylo Ren saber, leaving Ezra to take the blue saber that was supposed to have been Anakin's from the prequels. It wasn't the original saber, as Christensen had taken it after his role as Anakin in the prequels, but it was still his favorite of the two props he took home from the set.

"Yeah, yeah. I know the one. I mean, I don't know. Honestly, Chase, I think you'd have had better luck trying to take the saber." At least he wouldn't have wanted to kill her for it. He knew this wasn't her fault and she definitely wasn't the thief, but unfortunately it had to be her, and now it was fell on her to try and retrieve the damned thing.

Ezra pushed forward, closing some of the distance between them before stopping in his tracks just a few steps away from her, tilting his head at her as he shoved his hands into the front pockets of his jeans.

"I wish this didn't have to fall on you, Er. I'm so sorry." Ezra's gaze averted to the floor a moment before pulling back up to hold her's again. "Is there anything I can do for you? Any way I can help you?"

"..we both knew this day was going to come sooner or later..." Her soft voice cutting over his, Erin's lips turned up in a small though gentle smile. She could see it, the hesitation behind his actions. Despite his best efforts, it was just something that he couldn't hide from her; even after two years of having known one another. Gaze holding him a few moments longer, she let it fall. Her dark eyes drifting away and over her room before eventually, they drew back across to meet with his own once more, "..you've seen my scales... it's just... my luck..."

Not knowing what to say to that, Ezra pulled one of his hands from his pants pockets and offered it out to the daughter of Hades. Of course he'd seen her scales, and knew just how bad her luck was. It still wasn't something he enjoyed witnessing. The son of Deimos knew at least he could be helpful in taking some of her fears away for the time being, all she had to do was take his hand. She knew what to do, it wasn't the first time he'd done it for her. The young man offered her a soft half-smile with his extended hand.

Her dark gaze holding to his own; there was no hesitation aside from the shared look between them as Erin took a step closer. Then another, and another; and before all too long, she'd reached out towards him. Her touch feather light at first, almost tickling at his palm, she eventually twisted her hand in his. Lacing their fingers together in a tight seal, and almost immediately, she felt a weight, however small it might have been, lifting from her shoulders. Her fear towards what she was needing to do shrinking.

"..thank you..."

Ezra nodded solemnly, gently pulling her by the hand into his arms, wrapping her up in a gentle embrace. The son of Deimos chewed on the inside of his cheek as he was deep in thought. If he could go, he would. He knew just how deep rooted her fear was. He'd felt it first hand on several occasions over the last two years the two had known each other. He sighed softly, readjusting his arms to hold onto her a little tighter. Letting a few moments of comfortable silence pass, Ezra finally spoke up.

"I can't go with you, but I can at least get you to the other side. After that, you'll be on your own with the boys. I know it's hard, but they're there for you. Try to lean on them, even if a little. Dont be your typical stubborn self and try holding everything on your shoulders, Er. Trust your friends."

The longer she stayed in the circle of his arms; Erin felt her fear melt further and further away. And with it, the small amount of confidence she almost forgotten about began to draw back to the surface, causing her to curl her body closer into his own. Hands sliding around his body; her fingers curled over the back of his top. Only helping to pull herself even closer against him. A gentle blush rising in her cheeks, although... it wasn't exactly anything new. Especially when it came to Ezra. Despite the fact that she was more than happily in a relationship - not that anyone outside of one or two people knew - he was always able to make her feel more than comfortable around him.

Even with the constant back and forth teasing...

"..you know that's easier said than done." Staying where she was, savoring the hug for just a few moments longer, head resting against his collar bone; it was a few moments later that she was lifting her gaze up to try and meet with his. Her grip relaxing slightly around him, "Out of the five that are going with me; I trust four of them completely. The fifth is a wildcard who I'm still not sure whether or not I regret asking to come along. But... I'll try. I promise..."

"You gotta believe in him to some extent if you asked him along with you." Feeling the girl in his arms shift, Ezra brought his gaze down to meet hers, searching her dark eyes a moment. "At the risk of sounding like I'm quoting Qui-Gon... trust your instincts. Your friends aren't the only ones you're going to need to trust, in this. Put your faith in yourself. You're stronger than you realize, Erin."

Ezra flashed her a small reassuring grin before gently letting her go, tilting his head slightly. "You just about ready to head off, then?"

"Heh... yes, Master."

Refraining from rolling her eyes; she did, however, smirk lightly. A soft glint playing behind her dark gaze as she stared up at him. The lingering effects of him reducing her fears still helping to keep her mind clear even as she dropped her arms back to her sides. Her head turning as she spared a glance over at her bag resting on the bed in front of the three large canines- her cat, however, was no where to be seen. Motioning over to it first, she stepped back over to it. Her attention on him as she closed it up, "And yeah, I'm pretty much ready. I have almost everything I need; just missing one thing, and she's over by the side of my dresser..."

Ezra chuckled lightly, looking over towards the bed where the three hounds were lain. He'd seen them when he first came into the room but had practically forgotten all about them with how quiet they'd been during his and Erin's exchange. A small smile spread across the young man's face as he approached the bed, reaching a hand out to let Onyx and the hellhounds sniff at him before greeting them with neck and ear scratches.

"Hello boys," he mumbled to the canines, pulling his hands back as he brought his attention back to Erin. She. He could only assume she was talking about one specific thing. A slight smirk came to him then, placing a hand on her shoulder as he stepped around her to pass by and wander over to her dresser, reaching over to the side of it to grab up her weapon. The one she so lovingly - and in such a nerdy fashion - named 'Ventress' after Dooku's apprentice in Clone Wars. Walking back over to the daughter of Hades, holding it out to her.

"I still find it hilarious how you swear up and down that you're not an obsessed nerd, yet I'm wielding the proof that that logic is extremely flawed." Ezra chuckled softly, smirk-smiling teasingly at his friend.

A light scoff passing through the seam of her lips; Erin eventually drew her gaze back across to him. Her dark eyes lifting back up to meet with his own, and immediately she was hit with that all too familiar smug grin on his face. The very one he seemed to give her more than any other person in camp. It was annoying as all hell, and at times she wanted nothing more than to be able to wipe it clean off his face, but... it was just him. And that expression, unfortunately and despite her better nature, had grown on her over the last couple of years.

"..obsession is such a strong word..." Reaching out towards him, her hand closed around the weapon; though she made no move to remove it from his grip. Instead merely holding onto it like he himself was, "I prefer to think of it as... an intense interest."

Ezra's gaze slipped down to her hand holding her weapon that he'd been holding out to her a moment before returning back up to her dark eyes, holding contact on them and the weapon a few seconds longer before breaking away. He had to remain mindful of certain boundaries. The young man cleared his throat and stepped back over to the hounds to pet them again. Choosing to change the subject completely, though teasing Erin about her intense interest was one of his favorite pastimes.

"So, when's the last time you went to Rome?"

The last time she'd gone to Rome...

"Oof... I think I was twelve." Attention trailing away from him, her eyes narrowing, though at the thought; Erin lowered her double nagimara down to her side. The memories of her last trip, though a little feint, flooding back into her mind. And she took a few moments to simply linger on them as she picked her bag up from her bed. Slipping it on over a single shoulder for the moment- damn it was weightier than she thought it would be... but then... she was taking quite a few things on the trip with them...

"It was a family reunion- bisnonna's birthday. So everyone flew in. While we were sightseeing our cousin who lives there tried to set Dani up with a friend of his, and then when that failed, he tried to push me into the trevi fountain for laughing at him. Looking back now... I saw a few odd things on that trip..." Adjusting the strap first, then running the fingers of her free hand back through her long dark locks, she crossed over to her dresser. A light frown making its way onto her features as she leant forward. Her head drawing to a light tilt as she peered in through the glass tank at the beautiful Mexican red-knee tarantula held within it, "..by the way... do you think you can look after my hell-babies while I'm gone..? I asked Damien already; but you know him. He'll probably forget."

Pausing a moment, her head turning, Erin once again looked over at him, "..and Salem and Silas too, of course."

Ezra chuckled, trying to imagine someone setting her cousin up with someone. She didn't seem like the type that was into having a match being made for her. Miss fiercely independent. "I bet she sucker-punched him for trying, hah." The son of Deimos' hand extended out, manipulating the darkness of his own arm's shadow cast over the bed to form up a cat-sized nightmare, watching it dance around the three hounds lain across the mattress. The trick was old, however, and the hounds just laid there watching it carefully. None of them chased it anymore the way they used to the first few times he tried it on them.

It wasn't until Erin spoke again that Ezra's attention was pulled away from the animals, his eyes turning to meet hers. Ezra chewed on the inside of his lower lip lightly and rubbed at his chin as if deep in thought, playing as if he actually had to think on whether or not he'd watch her furballs and arachnid for her. Shrugging with a heavy sigh, the young man looked back at her once more. "I mean, I guess so," he chuckled softly. "Heimdall won't exactly be pleased, about any of it, but he'll get over it. It's only a week. And, who knows, you guys could be back before then if things happen to turn in your favor."

"Unless I don't come back..." Head turning as she spoke, Erin let her gaze flick across to where he was stood. A small, playful smirk dancing over her dark lips, "..then you're stuck with my babies forever."

Ezra rolled his eyes at her comment, moving away from the hounds and past Erin to her open bedroom door, stepping across the threshold before turning back to look at Erin. "I mean, I know Tyler will at least be happy he doesn't have to take Salem," he chuckled at that, a moment or two passing before he gave Erin a look. "Stop talking like you're not coming back. If all else fails, I know two things that ensure you're coming back. Or, people, rather."

Extending one hand out towards the open hallway, the other held out towards her, Ezra smiled softly at her. "Now, come on. Gotta get you on your way. Can't be late to your own party."

There was no hesitation- there never was. Reaching her free hand out, placing it gently in his, Erin stepped towards him. And as more of her fear began to melt away to nothing, she entwined their fingers together; helping to keep the seal between them. Even as she motioned for him to take the lead. A soft chuckle passing through her lips, his words only helped her small smirk to grow.

"..a party for me..? Oh, I just can't wait."

It was such a nice day... so beautiful.

Thumb pressing down on the lock button on the side of his phone; Kepano slipped it back inside the confines of his pocket. It had taken him a while to do, but finally, all the text messages he'd gotten were now answered. As were a few of the emails that he'd recieved during his little hiatus from all the responsibilities that awaited him right here in camp. Not that there were too many, or that they were really of too much importance. No. The most he did was cook and look after the plants... help his brother, sister and Katherine with the crops... Stuff that could be done by others when he wasn't around, or really, even when he was around it wasn't like he was the only one there that was capable of the tasks. Either way, he was covered.

Head lifting, having all intentions of gazing back up at the vast open sky hanging so gloriously above the camp; he instead found his body colliding with something soft- something warm. And amongst the surprise, the familiar voice of someone he recognized hit his ears in the sound of an apology.

Hands falling from the warmth of his pockets; Kep instead reached out, taking a gentle hold of the woman's hips. His fingers curling lightly over her curves as he planted his feet into the ground, helping to keep the both of them steady and upright. It wasn't as though this were an everyday occurance-... well... there were a handful of times he was pretty sure a few people around the camp had "accidently' fallen or stubled into him while he'd been walking around and minding his own business. But it wasn't like he had any proof of that. And besides... one: he didn't exactly mind when it happened, in fact, he rather enjoyed it; and two: he was pretty sure this wasn't one of those times. Either way, the very last thing he needed was to be the one responsible for sending a pretty little thing like Imogen tumbling down to the ground.

Greyson would never forgive him for putting a scratch on that gorgeous face of hers.

"Gen, it's fine."

Head turning down; Kepano locked his dark gaze with her own. Giving it a light shake, and causing his green hair to sway gently back and forth with the action as he took a moment to move the both of them further off to the side, and out of the way of anyone training or who wanted to get past them, "I wasn't exactly paying too much attention myself. Guess we both just gotta take it a little easier next time. Besides... wouldn't want anything to happen to that beautiful smile of yours now, would we..? You're brother would totally kill me."

Lifting a single hand from where it was resting over her hip, he gently cupped her chin. Taking the chance to run the pad of his thumb slowly over her bottom lip before eventualy, he pulled away. Giving her a quick wink as he returned both his hands back to the confines of his jacket pockets, "So, I know where I'm going; but where are you headed all distracted like that..? By the look on your face, it doesn't really seem like you were thinking about coral and pegasi..."
Please let me know what you think!

Hey hun

I'm so sorry it took me this long to get back to you. I finished reading over your CS and she's looking really good; I'm just curious though about her abilities..? The ones you chose aren't actually affiliated with Nemesis at all, they're actually affiliated with three or four different Gods/ Goddesses o-o

Competitions were not Kareem's cup of tea. Early in the morning, he had made his way to the beach while most of the camp went over to the arena to watch the competition. Kareem had a few secret plants to care for and make sure no pests bothered his babies. After an hour or so of caring for the tall plants, singing them songs, and babying them, he finally made his way back to the camp. It was his turn to water the plants and make sure they were properly fertilized for the next few weeks.

Summer was Kareem's second favorite season, after Spring, of course. The sun was always high up in the sky, warming up the greenhouse, helping the plants grow and the fruit trees come to mature. He'd spend most of his time picking apples, plums, and peaches off the trees. They made great presents for all of his friends and some great jam. He couldn't wait to make peach jam, Gods, Karem was craving some right now. Spread over some warm toast. His stomach grumbled, demanding some food as he made his way into the fields.

"Yo, Kat!" Kareem called out, his hand over his eyebrows to shield his eyes from the bearing sun. "Anyone?" He looked around, eyes grazing over the various crops they had planted months ago.

Even she wasn't sure if it was a blessing, or a curse - an unforeseen side-effect that her older half-brother, Pollix, had conveniently decided to leave out of his little explanation when he'd come to collect her from the asylum four years ago. Oh no; it wasn't until she'd found the thing standing over her bed, creeping on her in the early hours of the morning, that'd fully come to realize just what the hell was going on. Funnily enough, it was the same fucking Satyr that was following after her now; though after years of putting up with it, Katherine couldn't exactly deny that she might have a soft-spot for the goat-boy.

Hand running over her face both in exasperation and amusement, Kate's gaze lingered on the Satyr in front of her. So she might not have understood it past the idea that she was some kind of a lure; but even still, it never ceased to amaze her at just how quickly they and the Maenads seemed to find her- how they seemed to know exactly where she was at almost every minute of the day, and hell, even at night. That had certainly led to some interesting conversations... both with the party she was sleeping with, and the mythical being. Seriously. After the first few times, ground rules just had to be set. They were kinda like the Apollo kids, except the difference was, the Satyr's weren't trying make sure she kept shoving the all magical pills down her throat. Chuckling softly, shoving the thought from her mind, Katherine shook her head lightly. The smile plastered over her features never once fading as she spoke with her friend, "Sawyer... dude... how long have you been following me this time..?"

The sound of her name being called; it didn't escape her. Though instead of answering, Kate rose her hand up into the air; fingers wiggling, giving spirit-finger vibes as she signaled her location among the many rows of plants surrounding them.

The young Satyr had been soaking up the rays of the sun beaming down on him in the middle of the field, having decided to take a moment and enjoy the light breeze that ran through his hair. A light smile playing at the edges of the boy's mouth, he nearly jumped out of his fur when his name was called but quickly whipped around to it, nonetheless. His eyes widened a bit with curiosity as the Dionysus child spoke to him, smiling sheepishly (or is it 'goatly' in this situation?), running a hand through his hair with a soft chuckle.

"Sorry, Miss Katherine. I-I just figured I'd stick around in case you might have needed something." He didn't figure on answering her question directly, as he wasn't exactly hard to miss and she had the ability to use her two eyes. He knew she was aware of just how long he had been standing there. Sawyer was a bit embarrassed to admit just how long he had been standing there, clearing his throat nervously as he rubbed the back of his head equally so, attention drawing to Hareem.... Wait... Hareem? ...Kareem..? ..Kareem. Sometimes he forgot names, but never forgot a face. He smiled genuinely at the young man, grateful for the distraction from the short conversation.

"Oh-- he-hey man! How goes it?"

Spotting the raised hand in the air, Kareem approached Katherine's location. A yawn escaped his lips as he almost bumped into the Satyr. "Oh, shit man, didn't see you there, dude." He could feel his eyes growing heavy, but something about the way Sawyer looked like he had just been caught red-handed caused a few giggles to slip past his lips. His eyes shifted to Katherine, to Sawyer, then back at Katherine. Something had definitely happened before Kareem showed up.

"Anyway," He was too hungry and sleepy to really care about it, "Kat, I... uh..." He blinked, staring at Katherine for a second before shaking his head. "Forgot." He continued to stare at her trying to think back to what he was going to ask her. Something about water and plants: Kareem looked around them, trying to figure out what he had forgotten. Another second later, he turned to the both and shrugged.

Wait. "Oh! I need a hand, literally-" He waved his left stump at them, giggling to himself at his own joke. "to help me turn on the hose."

Sawyer smiled sheepishly as Kareem's eyes flipped back and forth between the two before him, his right leg lifting to scratch nervously at the back of his left calf. The young satyr stood on the sidelines of the conversation, doing his best to not interrupt them at all. Once Kareem had finished speaking, the boy offered a small bleat of a laugh.

"A hand, that's funny," he mumbled to himself, looking over at Kate. Silently offering his assistance, knowing full-well that she knew he was always willing to help out in any way he could, he scratched behind his ear lightly and smiled over at Kareem. "Time to water the babes, is it?"

"More like time to pick up the slack."

The stupid smirk creeping out over her features, Katherine's arms folded over the front of her chest, though she otherwise remained relaxed. Open and inviting- just as she always was. At least on most occasions she was anyway. Shaking her head lightly, though not really in response to either question that was posed to her; it was only a few moments later that her arms fell away from her chest. Hands making it into her pockets as she began to wander in the direction of the closest tap, "It's actually meant to be Aspen's turn to water the crops; but he pissed off home to visit his family. So we're short handed."

Pausing a moment, both in her words and her steps, Kate glanced back at the both of them. Her eyes settling on Kareem as she gave him a sheepish grin, "No offence, dude."

"Okay, it feels like I am missing something here, and no, it is not my hand," Kareem rolled his eyes at Katherine's comment, tempted to mess with her but passed up the occasion to glance at them both. Something smelled iffy, like he had just walked in on something, and he couldn't quite place it. Kareem continued to eye them both for another moment before his interest was lost and his mind went back to the crops. "Uh-huh, well if you two are done, the babes really do need water. I can hear them calling my name." He leaned down to take one of the leaves from a nearby plant to caress it between his thumb and index fingers.

"Kareem! Kareem! Water us! Aspen left last minute and we're dying! Kat and Sawyer are just standing around watching us dry!" His voice was at a high pitch as he talked for the plants, a smile spreading over his features before he let out a giggle. It took him a minute to compose himself, not that he tried to, but Kareem really was worried for the poor plants. He cleared his throat as he straightened out turning to look at Sawyer then Katherine. "Anyway, we should get Grayson or Imogen to help us, imagine how fast they would water the crops." He followed Katherine to collect the hose.

"Bruh..." Pausing again, her hands having made it into her pocket at some point, Katherine twisted her body around enough that she was able to stare back at Kareen with what could only be described as a stupid grin gracing her features. Giving both him and Sawyer a chance to catch up to her before starting off again. This time keeping pace with them both rather than walking ahead like she had been, "..could you imagine..? We have to get them out here one day so we can try it."

Sometime between the time the two demi-gods had been talking, the satyr had gotten himself distracted watching a butterfly fly off through the field. It wasn't until he heard the voices starting to trail away that his attention was finally pulled back, hurriedly skipping along to catch up to the pair. The satyr scratched at his head sheepishly, nodding in agreement.

"I can imagine it, but seeing it would be something!"

"Terrifying too, but it would make our lives a lot easier." Kareem walked over to the hose to pick it up from its place. He tucked the end of the hose under his armpit as he used his other hand to unravel the rest of it. Aspen really had done a mess with the hose; he'd have to stay overtime in the gardens and fields to make sure everything was properly taken care of. Kareem didn't mind.

When he was done with the hose, he took the end and walked over to the first row of potted plants that needed the most water. "All ready over here!"

"Water on..!" Calling it out of habit; Katherine opened up the valve. Able to feel it as the water began to flow through the tap. The hose becoming taught as it shot through it, causing it to further unravel as water traveled through and to the nozzle that Kareem was currently in possession of. Watching as the spray shot out over the plants at a decent pressure; it was a few moments longer that she finally stood herself up straight again, "Try not to overfeed the babies too much. We don't want them complaining of a stomach ache at three in the morning..!"

"Of course, I don't want any nasty root rot." Kareem replied, looking over his shoulder towards Katherine before looking back at the plants. "Think I got it from here, Kat. You should go finish whatever you were doing with Sawyer." He moved the hose over to the ferns before glancing over to the satyr with suspicion. Kareem was still convinced he had walked into something iffy going on between the two.

Kareem could always use vines and make himself a nice temporary arm while he did the rest of the watering. He wanted to propagate some more plants from the greenhouse, something he could easily handle. Some of the string of hearts were also getting burned, and they'd have to be moved to a more shaded area, and some of the indoor ferns needed some trimming.

"I'll holler if I need some help,"

How many demi-gods (and a satyr) does it take to water some plants? ...just the two demi-gods. So Sawyer stood off to the side watching the two do their thing, partially zoned out until he heard Kareem talking again, shaking his head. Whatever you were doing. The satyr made a face, thinking back on how awkwardly Kareem had approached them before thinking he'd interrupted something. Hopefully he didn't think something provocative had been going on prior.

Sawyer smiled sheepishly, giving Kareem a friendly wave. "Cya later, dude. I'll go see if I can't find Grey and set something up later this week with him and Immy." Turning to face Kate, he scratched behind his ear gently, offering a small smile. "Alright, Miss Katherine. I might be fixin' on heading off, too, unless you need help with anything..?"

"Aye aye, Cap'n."

Arm raising from her side, Katherine gave her friend a two-fingered salute. Choosing to bypass the mention of going back to whatever it was she'd been doing with Sawyer before having been approached. Truthfully, she hadn't been doing anything; let alone doing anything with the satyr. Not that she wouldn't. Sawyer was a great guy. A slight frown crossed her lips as her mind seemed to pause. Lingering on that thought. Guy..? Goat-guy..? Either way, he was friend, and that was all that mattered.

Her gaze following Sawyer as he said his goodbye and turned towards her, Kate opened her mouth. Though before she managed to form so much as a syllable, her father's voice rang out over the fields from the tall posts that had been stationed through the crops. Causing her to lift her head towards the one closest to them as she listened to what was being said. One... two... five... eight... ten. Ten names. Including Sawyer. Well, that wasn't something that happened every other day. Either they were in some real serious trouble, or there was something big that was going down. Along with what was happening already, of course. Turning back to Sawyer once the announcement was over, or, at least seemed to be, Kate slipped her hands into her pockets. A smile returning to her features as she gave him a nod.

"Welp... looks like your up, horns. Might want to do yourself a favor before you head off though... Unless I got my dates wrong, a certain someone with green hair should be getting back today..." Shooting him a wink, her smile growing slightly- morphing instead into a small smirk, Katherine held his gaze for a few brief moments longer before a stray thought had her turning back to Kareem. Her feet already carrying her backwards, "Oh..! By the way... party at mine later. Catch you there." Making sure the son of Demeter had heard her, Kate shot another quick glance over at Sawyer before turning away from the both of them. Heading back the way she'd first come.

Saywer jumped slightly at the sound of Mr. D's voice over the speakers, his head angling up to look up to where the god's voice was coming from. He stared quietly, listening to what he had to say. When his name was called out, Sawyer's eyes widened a bit. Only thing Mr. D ever called him out like that was for a quest. A soft, defeated sigh passed through the satyr's lips then.

Kate's voice quickly snagged his attention, pulling his eyes away from the speaker he'd been zoned out on a few moments after Mr. D's voice had faded away. Mention of Kep brought a bit of color to the satyr's face, causing the young boy to shift slightly on the spot. Sawyer's mouth fell open in an attempt to make a reply but the effort was for nothing. The words caught in his throat, the boy swallowed hard and shut his mouth as his eyes followed Kate's. The offer of a party was so inviting. He wished he'd have time to join them, but knowing what he was about to walk into, the partying would have to wait till after he got back from whatever quest it was he was about to be thrown into.

By the time Sawyer turned back, Kate was already walking off in the direction they'd come from. The satyr chewed on his lip a moment before muttering to himself as he pushed his way up towards the Big House, "No, that's okay. I'm busy anyway, Miss Katherine. Gonna have to miss your big awesome party cause your dad needs me more than I need a drink, apparently. It's all good--"

As much as Sawyer wanted to go and find Kep, there was no way he was going to be the one to arrive last to The Big House. He'd never hear the end of it from Mr. D. Picking his pace up into a trot, the satyr waved off a couple of friendly campers as he headed up to hear what his next assignment would be. Life of a satyr was never dull here at the camp, that's for sure.
