@Renny You've scooped up the last Slayer spot I'll accept, though that means it'll have to be for Harpy's Wing since I'm going with a 2 per guild and Raijin and Rune have nabbed both for Golem's Hand. Also, took me a minute to remember you. Sorry about that ^.^;
@Rune_Alchemist If you could add something too her experience during the attack on Luna to justify why she thinks that Harpy is the kind to stand idly by. An event she witnessed that could be misread as them being passive since as stated they did defend the town to best of their abilities.
@Raijinslayer Okay, so looking it over I'm gonna have to ask you to rein in the spells. It feels like you're trying to cover every scenario which as smart as that is, is realistically not possible and a little overboard. My suggestion is stick with the theme of light and dark by limiting the spells to being offensive and defensive respectively. Get rid of Radiance, Penance, and Shadow; drop the hallucinatory effect on Haze of Nightmares; and the second Secret Art isn't acceptable. Like I said it just seems like you were trying to cover too much ground with the amount of spells and over variety of abilities they gave him.
@TheHangedMan As for Phoebe, just dial back the speed a lot. Light speed/faster than light speed attacks is very OP. Other than that I see no problems.
@Raijinslayer I'll get back to you buddy. Don't have time to look over the whole sheet right now. I know he was approved before but I'm fuzzy on the details.
@KiltmanBagz@Rune_Alchemist Right, you two are obviously good to go so throw those little lesbians in the char tab~
@TheHangedMan I'm allowing 2 S-Classes per guild so there is one other S-Class spot in Harpy up for the taking. Just keep in mind that they are wizards who have only recently obtained the rank so scale their power as necessary. They may be S-Class but they'd still get stomped by someone who's been S-Class for relatively longer.
"My spirits have lent me their strength, so I can't lose!"
Basic Info
Name:: Kyuuten Rallis Nickname/Alias:: Starbird Gender:: Male Age and date of birth:: 18, May 29
Guild:: Harpy's Wing; His guild mark is sky blue and is positioned just beneath his left collarbone.
Rank:: A-Class
Personal Information
Personality:: Kyuuten is an energetic young man with a bright sunny smile almost always present on his face. He's the kind to push forward no matter how dark things may seem, believing that things will turn out okay in the end. While his disposition might be like a light in the dark other's might not think he's the brightest. He's by far not an idiot but his carefree, seemingly naive attitude does tend to make him look like not much of a thinker. Although he can be quite oblivious at times. While he also isn't a genius he can think on his feet quite well. Kyuuten is quick to help others and hates to see people scared or upset and will do whatever he can to make them feel at ease.
History:: Kyuuten lived in a small village where the people had always had strong connections to the Celestial World. It was there that Celestial Unity Magic was being developed. Kyuuten's mother was the head of the development team so he was always hearing about the details. Most people in his village were Celestial wizards and he himself was in training to become one.
His mother was on the verge of completing the new magic when the village was suddenly attacked by an upstarting dark guild. As Kyuuten witnessed his village be destroyed he felt powerless and wondered how anyone could cause such suffering. Thanks to his mother's Celestial Spirit Kyuuten was the only one who managed to escape the devastation. The spirit disappeared without warning and he knew what it meant when a spirit was sent back to the Celestial World without it's wizard's command. His home was gone and he was alone.
Two members of the dark guild had followed him and his mother's spirit anxious to continue their bloodthirsty rampage. They were poised to kill the young boy. Then, in his frightened state Kyuuten started to emit large amounts of magical energy, inadvertently summoning a celestial spirit. A young celestial spirit appeared but she was just as scared as Kyuuten. In the midst of this as he thought about his mother and about all she had worked for, Kyuuten felt something begin to resonate between him and the spirit. In an instant they shared their experiences, painful and happy. Kyuuten pleaded with her to lend him her strength and suddenly there was a flash of light and when he came to his senses it was over. He felt the power he'd just used fade from his body as another momentary light left him and the spirit unable to completely comprehend what had just happened. Kyuuten saw that the dark guild members were lying on the forest floor unconscious. He took one of their weapons to finish them off, to avenge everyone. As he realized what he was doing he stopped. He couldn't bring himself to be a monster like them, to cause pain and take lives like they did. He spared them, taking the spirit girl's hand and fleeing.
Kyuuten knew what he wanted his mother's legacy to be used for: to help and protect others. After they were safely away from the rest of the dark guild, Kyuuten contracted with the spirit, asking her to help him become strong. Over the next three years he sought out people to teach him magic and discovered more about his mother's magic with the wish to never see people being hurt and feel useless again. Kyuuten found a teacher and learned Heavenly Body magic while also developing his skills with Celestial Unity, but he still had a lot to learn. Lacking understanding about his magic his teacher pointed him towards a guild who had the best chance at helping him discover the secrets of power his mother left to him. Kyuuten joined Harpy's Wing and over the last two years he found more than just answers, he found a home.
Magic
Magic Name:: Celestial Unity Description:: Similar to normal Celestial wizards, Celestial Unison wizards summon Celestial Spirits to help them fight. Unlike most Celestial wizards, Unison wizards also use their own magic and merge with Celestial Spirits to combine their strengths, creating a stronger magical force. Instead of Contracts, Bonds are made with the spirits. Bonds don't have conditions, but to make a bond with a spirit the wizard must be deemed worthy by the spirit itself. Combat spirits mostly insist on one-on-one battles, while other area-oriented spirits have the wizard perform a task. These Bonds are the strength behind this magic. Through merging the wizard obtains physical strengths of the spirit (speed, strength, etc.) and have access to the spirits unique powers and any weapons they use. The wizard experiences some side effects, such as physical features that can be, but rarely, permanent and random exhibitions of the mannerisms of a spirit. It is extremely difficult for the wizard to switch between spirits mid-battle as the process of un-merging, summoning a new spirit, and re-merging takes time and can be taxing. Known Spells::
The Enchantress of Storms, Pyrrha
Kyuuten's most trusted spirit and best friend, Pyrrha was the first spirit he ever made a Bond with. She is an optimistic girl with a quiet bookworm personality. She's very loyal and protective of Kyuuten, usually sticking around using her own power just to be around and spend time with him. Pyrrha has a large reserve of magic power and coupled with her lightning magic she is a fierce ally. Along with this she can also use Archive magic to an extent.
The Demon Flame, Kara
For a time he was shunned for his demon like appearance, but Kyuuten only saw him as a partner and friend. Kara can be overzealous and hotheaded. He's also a bit of a handful especially when he starts threatening to burn things down. The Bond with Kara is incredibly strong leaving Kyuuten with his own demon tail at all times. There are mysteries to Kara that he himself hasn't figured but Kyuuten has promised to help him. Kara provides Kyuuten with speed and powerful purifying blue flames that can be harnessed with the demon's sword.
Getsu is the battle-tested veteran of Kyuuten's spirits. His rough, old warrior demeanor makes him difficult to win over but once you've gained his respect there is no spirit more loyal. In addition to his impressive strength and durability, Getsu brings some real destructive power with Vortex Drill magic.
