We'll definitively have these moments sooner or later, so we better get used to post small moments of talks between our characters to keep things flowing even without updates.
Sorry for the inconvenience, but a storm hit us pretty bad and it's taking a while to recover from it. To make it worse, we're expecting another one in a day or so; they say it's turned into a typhoon. How this will affect us, I'm not quite sure yet.

I apologize, but there's going to be a delay in the next updates.

Good to hear from you bud. We hoped nothing dangerous befell on you. Glad to know you're alright.
Quick recap of players: is there anyone still working on a post? If not, I'll start working on the next post.

Nope, just waitin' on the ladies to hit me react.
Just noticed the typos on my post XP

Oh yeah, I can't help but laugh each time I reread myself and notice those mistakes.
Woosh!

Postified!

It might sound strange to have Akasha speak with all such philosophy (given it's primal philisophy), but that's what you get for being raised by a shaman. At first I thought of making Akasha dumber and air-headed, but then I thought it would turn her into your stereotypical amazon and boring, so I added a little extra to the character's mentality.
Akasha’s cheerful smile turned into a more serious face as she listened to Nico’s friend, whose name was still unknown to her. However, she did take note of Glasses’ name, being Nico, who was still unconscious onto her shoulder. There was anger in his voice. No, something more than that. It wasn’t hate either, it was stronger. Pure hatred, that’s what it was. The young amazon did not know this guy’s past for him to hold such emotions inside of him, but it was strong. Or was it related to his power? Or were people from the city naturally this way?

As Mikhail finished speaking, Akasha let out a sigh, thinking about what he had just say. Indeed, this guy was talking way too much at once. She could barely register what he said between his mood shifts, turning from grateful, to angry, to desperate. Just how much did Nico meant to him? She couldn’t understand Mikhail’s feelings for the unconscious guy. She never knew love, she couldn’t feel what it was to have a sibling, and the only family she ever had was her aunt. Whatever feeling it was, it transcended Akasha’s imagination.

“Life IS unfair. Some are born weaker than others, and the strongest get everything…” The dark-skinned girl replied, speaking like someone who knew exactly what she was saying.

“That’s why you have to train. To get strong. One day, you’ll be strong enough to be the one at the top, or at the very least get respect from others.” She added to her statement.

“You know why the lion never attacks the elephant? Because while he may be king, he does not possess the power of the elephant. The lion fears to be trampled to his death, and so resign from preying on a much larger foe.” She said on a final note to her story.

Akasha sighed again, feeling a bit down speaking like that. She never was one to speak of philosophy, but being raised by the village’s shaman, whose wisdom was unmatched in the tribe, some of her teaching stuck into the teenager.

“It’s your choice though. Fight, or run away. As much as one must not give up so early, one must also recognize his weaknesses and retreat. It’s a shame to have come so far yet to only leave at the first sign of opposition, wouldn’t you agree?” The wild shapeshifer mused.

Suddenly, Akasha felt movement on her shoulder. She smiled back, knowing Nico was recovering from whatever it was that made him unconscious. Slowly, she shifted her balance to one side while keeping her two hands on the frail young man. She dismounted him from her shoulder and put him back on his feet. Akasha could feel he was still wobbly on his feet, and so she took one of Glasses’ arm and passed it over the back of her neck, keeping Nico up on his feet and providing support.

“Anyway, I’m hungry, and I’m getting a headache just speaking like Auntie. Let’s go eat. If you want to leave, better get some rest and food for the journey.” The amazoness said, starting to walk towards the school building.

On the way, she would ask Nico if he was alright and how he was feeling.

Enjoying a moment of peace as he was eating, Allen was humming a song he had heard when he was still but a child in his early days as an apprentice. He was in a particularly good mood today, despite all the weird stuff that happened just earlier. First being his failed experiments with his elemental merging, second being that Leo guy claimed he was his long-lost brother. However, today was a day to celebrate new prospects into the university. While they were few in numbers compared to some years, Strauss enjoyed the small talks he had with some of them. Most seemed like good kids, still needing guidance. What he felt alarming though was the fact that more and more of those kids were orphans. Every year, the number of abandoned children joining this academy at a very young age always seemed to increase.

Lost in his thoughts, the elemental scholar nearly missed the change in the air around him. Raising his head, he raised an eyebrow in curiosity at the gathering crowd around a table. He couldn’t quite make what was being said, nor the people that the mob surrounded, but with the ever-increasing excitement of the crowd, he could clearly hear now what was being spoken.

Rising from his chair and leaving his almost-finished breakfast, Allen joined the gathering of students and checked for himself what the big deal was about. But as he went towards the crowd, he could figure just how bad the situation was when he heard the words “Dragon God” and “Archetype”. Only two names popped into his mind when he heard that.

As he arrived on the scene, it was a bit too late. He had heard the goading from a few students, provoking the Archetype Disciple into spiting her opinion on who would win in a fight between the two godly beings. As such, it brought the Disciple of the Dragon to challenge the former to a duel.

It was such a gods be damned shame. From the beginning, Allen felt like Meruin had no intention of dueling Xinhua, but eventually her frustration got the better of her and it turned out this way. All this because of the students probing the Storm Mage until she would snap out.

And just when the duel was being confirmed, chaos erupted into the hall. People were disagreeing with each other, turning into yells and some even into fist fights. It didn’t take long for a large squad of Enforcers to jump into the fray and try to bring back order into this mess.

However, there was one thing Allen despised about the Enforcers, and it was their brutality and their habit of jumping the guns and bring physical punishment to everyone disobeying the university’s laws, instead of trying to take a more peaceful approach. Granted, this situation was perhaps too chaotic to be resolved peacefully, but trying to solve this issue with more violence was definitively not the way to go, at least that’s what Strauss always believed.

Walking into the crowd, dodging people getting thrown out of nowhere or fists being thrown randomly, Allen reached the place where Xinhua and Meruin were, glaring at each other. While he felt pretty much angsty by the situation, the Elementalist could not bring himself to disfigure the girls with a frown. Instead, he smiled, as he always did.

While he wanted to stop people around him from fighting, he could not do so. Even if his voice would be able to reach everyone, he didn’t have the authority, nor the power to stop both students and Enforcers alike.

“For shame, ladies. Just look at what you did now. Was that really necessary?” Allen questioned the now two rivals.
Been passive so far, time to be a little more active.
Sorry, I just got up and I'm readying myself for work. First day at my new job (I no longer work at night), so chances are I won't be available for 8 hours.
All I will say is: PC MASTER RACE!
Seriously though, I fucking love Skyrim. Installed it several times with like 50+ mods.

Don't worry friend, take your time to post. Real life comes first and it should be given that not everyone can post anytime. Some ought to lay low on the sugar, understand that and be patient.
