Blue smoke drifts out of the backpack near Rebekah. A small, sky blue capuchin monkey lays stretched out on the desk in front of his mistress. He yawns lazily while looking around the room, his inhuman eyes piercing the veil of darkness to witness the worrying of the students. A tingling in the tips of his ears betrays the presence of something similar to illusionary magic. Assuming the strange forces at play must be the cause of discomfort in the children surrounding him, he lets himself into Rebekah's mind, his voice but a quiet whisper like a late night breeze over desert sands, "Are you in need of my assistance mistress?"
Thanks a bunch
I'm actually having some trouble. I've been reading and rereading the past few pages but I can't find where the darkness is first mentioned. I can only see when people start reacting to it. Could someone do me a favor amd quote the first post about the darkness for me?
I've no idea what to post
@Mistress Dizzy
Yeah, you're probably right
@Vulture585 oh....sorry Caits, Dizzy, and I were in the first year. There was a major attack.

No, I get that. I read most of the first year. I just don't understand your wording. "The teachers with powers would be better with real teachers."???
@KatherinWinter
I don't understand what you mean...
I get the feeling that something bad is going to happen, but that should make it even more of a big deal. In an emergency, teachers take accountability of their students, meaning they make sure the students are where they should be, and if they aren't, it's taken very seriously.
Give them detention. It allows the chance of Breakfast Club style shenanigans/bonding.
@KatherinWinter

I think you're right. I still feel like the fact that they don't seem to be giving the mask some sort of supernatural durability is really cool. I'm assuming the materials necessary to make a really tough mask aren't just lying around. That means that yes, in a ounch Arachne could just pick up a new mask but then she runs the risk of it being destroyed even more easily until she makes a new, appropriately durable one.
