"I have been in many storms before but this is something entirely different." commented Aviza as she held up the rear of the group with the others who had been ordered to do so. "The sensors in my Argus armor are not showing any other life signs besides from the basics that are expected. I am half tempted to remain at the entrance of the cave to ensure we do not get flanked from any hostiles but I am sure my armor and Shih will be more than enough help if something does decide to flank us." continued the Spartan, who checked over her armor and weapons, while carefully stepping over the remains of the tentacle-like vines. Without saying a word, she powered on her crimson colored energy sword in her left hand as if having such a thing was nothing out of the ordinary. Of course, Aviza knew that not only holding but also fighting with one of these weapons could be seen dishonorable to the teams Sangheili, but she was losing her reason to care.

As they entered the much larger chamber, Aviza quickly scanned the room and took note of the massive Tengmaa bulb, considering tossing a grenade or explosive charge down at it but decided to speak with her team before taking such an action. "I have a few M379 Explosive Packs and some grenades, my thought is using one of them, any other ideas?" asked Aviza as her HUD then informed her of the movement around them. "Oh also, sensors are showing movement again, so let's make a choice quickly." said Aviza as she grabbed onto a M379 charge and waved it about as if trying to entice the others.

"I do not think any of you are really listening to what we are trying to say." began Celestine as she turned her focus towards this universes Cass. "You have all undoubtedly fought against many strange hostiles, and if you trust me enough, it would be wise to consider that we are not from this current reality, what the others are saying is true." The Black Bird of Chernobyl still spoke in the calm and collected tone that held little emotion, but when the Black Iron Man suited figures engaged the rest of her squad, she quickly sprung into action. At first, she reached for her heavily modified Scar but then thought better of the action. She would only use lethal rounds against the targets if it was absolutely necessary, and it was damn near close to that.

Through the erupting chaos that surrounded her, she managed to pick up the voice of her squads Cass and her recommendation of attempting to shut down the Black Iron Man suits. "I like this idea, but it is going to piss them off either way." said Celestine as she reached out with her Technopath ability, in an attempt to lock the suits of armor in place, making them immovable. Regardless of the outcome, her HUD informed her that Spark's had received an injury, and one apparently to the chest. She would vanish for a few seconds before reappearing alongside Sparky's side, taking a knee and reaching into the sealed satchel she kept on herself at all times. Her advanced medical kit was pulled from it, and placed upon the ground along side the wounded individual.

"Matt, I am going to need your help here." began Celestine, as she opened the kit and started to remove some things she expected she would need. Celestine pulled out a pack of gauze and applied it to the wound, she would release the pressure for a moment with her hands and instead placed her knee down for more pressure. "We do not have anywhere to apply a tourniquet, but I have other ways to make this work." commented Celestine as she quickly handed Matt a Chest seal. "Put that over the wound please Matt." asked The Black Bird of Chernoybl. All of this happened in a short amount of time as the fighting continued around her and Matt.

"Slight situation here friends, I can not get any clear information on the blueprints or even layout of the subway tunnels here via my data-pad. Does not seem like we will have any clear guidance on finding another way out of the tunnels." Commented Celestine calmly as she stepped onto the Subway train car, suddenly hit by an unexplained wave of nostalgia. "Perhaps this reminds me of the Subway station back in Russia? Oh, maybe it has to do with that trip I took with my family to Moscow." commented Celestine under her breath as she settled in for the ride that she assumed would hopefully only take a few moments. Her eyes caught the rest of the squad as they attempted to comfort Oliver who had apparently pulled himself together, looking a bit better from before. "Your looking better there Oliver, I am sure you will have yourself together here shortly." She said this with a nod of her head, and honesty behind the tone of her voice.

Glancing down at her Data-Pad, she scrolled through current news articles from this new world, pretending to pay attention to what she was reading but in truth, focusing intently on all happenings around her. "Anyone else find it just a bit odd or concerning that everyone is mass evacuating from this train car to the others?" Inquired Celestine through her helmets coms, though it most likely would have been fine if she said that through her helmet due to the fact that they were now alone. The gentle sound of what could have been rain drops falling upon the top of the train car drew her attention away from what she had been thinking, and her eyes swiftly glanced upward. "Does not sound like rain to me, could be pipes leaking but..." That sentence was not finished, for a group of ten individuals in black Iron Man-esque armor dropped through the emergency exit.

"Was only a matter of time I guess." Thought Celestine to herself as she stood up from her seat and moved to stand alongside the rest of her squad. The mention of three of her squamates being wanted for extreme acts of terrorism and violence was concerning to say the least, but what really worried her way the mention of her own last name. "I understand this may not be the best time to speak up, and I am most certainly not resisting, just merely wanting to help clear up any misunderstandings here. I heard the mention of the name Novastrov, which is actually my last name, and can prove it to be true if you would allow me to show you all my California identification card." commented Celestine in a calm and collected voice that held not hostility.

Celestine had been doing her best to decipher the rest of the message she had received via her helmets HUD while the others scrambled around her. She had not noticed that they were about to pass through the DNA scanners at the moment, her mind wandering on what she considered more important topics. "Ragnarok, doesn't that have something to do with the end of times in Norse Mythology? Pardon me, not mythology anymore with Thor and Loki around." said Celestine, mostly to herself as she tailed behind the rest of the squad. What finally broke her concentration was Oliver's idea, it was better than blindly marching through the scanners, so she agreed and reached out, taking the mans hand in her own. Celestine had personally not felt anything during or after, and the thought of if the attempt had been successful or not, crossed her mind.

"How do we know if that worked or not? Also, are you alright? You seem to be uh, more transparent? I'm guessing this is not a normal occurrence." observed The Blackbird of Chernobyl, taking a knee next to the man, but not getting close enough to accidently touching the afflicted individual. Celestines cyan eyes glanced back up and away from Oilver as she heard Cassandra mention her name and the fact that she was indeed a technopath. "A good idea Cassandra, I will return your tablet as soon as I am complete, I just hope this works." She swiftly took the tablet in both of her hands and focused her attention into it, and the surrounding technology to attempt to gather the requested information.

While Raynor had a mental breakdown and a few of the others attempted to calm him down, Celestine drew in her surroundings, noticing that they were drawing more attention than what was apparently normal. With every moment that passed, her concern grew, eventually it reached the point of where her inaction was causing more harm than good. Taking the initiative, The Blackbird of Chernobyl reached out to the nearby DNA scanners, attempting to momentarily mask their passage. Progress was being made, but then suddenly lost, the systems changed, as if someone on the other side of the technology was actively fighting back against her presence. Opening her coms, she informed the team of what just happened, "I tried masking our movements through the DNA scanners, but something is preventing me from doing so. This is concerning, perhaps we have already been discovered?

There was a short pause while Celestine thought of their options before speaking once more. "We can not skip out from the DNA scanners sadly, if we avoid them it will look very suspicious, but on the other end of the coin if we go through them they will record our DNA and may cause more trouble for us in the future. I give us around a minute before trouble shows up? So we should make a choice on our next course of action, I vote the subways and unfortunately passing through the scanners." As soon as she stopped speaking, her helmets HUD started to flash, and a message showed up in the right hand side of it. The message was mostly corrupted, but one word did stand out, RAGNAROK. "Oh, okay that is not good..." commented The Blackbird of Chernobyl into the teams coms, under her breath.

"Perhaps reaching out and getting closer to the anomaly is not the best idea for the moment?" Celestine managed to say as she reached out with her left hand, attempting to place it upon Sparky's right shoulder. Unfortunately, the hand did not make contact, and before she could say anything else, the world around her suddenly changed. There had been a blinding light, followed by the feeling of free falling, then suddenly finding herself standing somewhere. It took a few short seconds for the disorienting stun to ware off from whatever had happened, but when it did, Celestine found herself standing in a very different looking Times Square than the one she was used to. Drones flew overhead, monitors displaying propaganda shown all round them, and most concerning was the images that showed clearly mutated individuals that were wanted. "Has anyone else noticed the implants or something of the sort on the side of these peoples heads?" asked Celestine through her helmets coms, keeping a keen eye on her surroundings as much as she possibly could.

The Blackbird of Chernobyl was tempted to engage her active camouflage but decided to use that in an emergency, worried it would draw even more unwanted attention to the squad. Moving to Amelia's side, Celestine would carefully take the bolt from her hands and placed it back inside of the satchel upon her left hip. "My HUD is informing me that the tracking-bolt is now tracking, good to know it works here." commented Celesinte mostly to herself. She then turned to Raynor and raised an eyebrow at the comment about this place being his home, "That will need some explaining later, but for the moment, I agree we need to find somewhere to hide, to move unnoticed, but is the subway usually not very busy as well?"

Maya systematically responded to all questions that were posed in her direction, and answered them with clear and concise responses. "That is a fair question Adrianne, my stake in this whole situation is honestly quite simple though. There is a system of Eldar Maiden Worlds, not Craft Worlds, within jump distance of this system. They are still inhabited by my people, unknown to most of the Imperium of man, Should this system fall, ours would be next. Now, before you say I am only doing this for my people or something else along those lines, we have a contract of sorts with this system which enables us to deliver rare materials that only come Maiden Worlds. These materials help keep this system alive and functioning, and in return I get to wander the system freely."

Maya felt the disturbance like an eruption, but merely tilted her head slightly to the left while holding eye contact with the Psykers violet eyes before turning to the Armsman to answer his questions. "If you trusted me right after my abrupt introduction, I would be greatly concerned about your mental health, Stukov. No offense but I rather not get into politics about the Eldar and Imperium of man here, or at all for the time being. Trust me when I say, our opinions differ and I rather not stoke the fire that is already in your heart. Perhaps in time, you will see me more than a heretic xeno that must be purged from all existences." The Eldar Farseer shrugged lightly before turning to nod her head at the Tech-Priestess, not entirely sure how to respond to the strange woman. "I am glad at least one of you are happy to have me here." If anyone was paying attention, Maya's ears did not look like an Eldars at the moment, and Andromedai considered it to be some sort of illusion to help her from drawing attention or much worse.

Opening her mouth to speak, Celestian Andromedai was interrupted by the arrival of Valkia who returned to take everyone's orders. "I hope I am not interrupting, but are you all ready to place your orders for food?" Celestine spoke up first and said "Just the normal for me please, you will see what that is soon, Medaira." Maya was next, informing the waitress that she wanted Beef Stroganov. Solares shrugged lightly and said "I will take... the meatloaf, you know the one with fresh ground beef, salt and pepper ground sausage, red onion, garlic, panko bread crumbs, roasted tomato's, smoked bacon and some spicy barbeque sauce?" Valkia nodded her head then turned to the rest of the retinue awaiting their orders.

Nothing more needs to be said. <3

A spectrum of color reflected off the one way visor and ashen gray metallic mask that Celestine wore while peering silently at the cosmic anomaly in front of her and the rest of the squad. She found that it held a sort of mysterious beauty, while at the same time appearing ominous and threatening. The whole situation in fact, left Celestine with an ominous and uncomfortable feeling, which she expected at least a few of the others also mirrored. At first, she merely observed the scene before them, but then decided to speak. "I actually have a few questions I would like to ask." began Celestine, speaking in a voice that held a heavy Russian accent. "First off, all of the damage that was caused to The Raft, was it a result of this anomaly or perhaps sabotage from some sort of outside force? Secondly, The Raft should have twenty four hour surveillance if I am not mistaken? Perhaps checking the footage if it is still intact could prove beneficial. Thirdly, what do we do if something, let us say a horrific monster from another dimension comes through that? Does Shield have a first contact protocol?"

There was a momentary pause to let the questions settle in before Celestine added, with a bit of lightheartedness in the tone of her voice, "I am so very much more of a Star Wars person than Star Trek, but I do have an idea." Reaching into the satchel upon her left hip, she pulled out a small tracking bolt that was meant to be fired from a pistol, and twirled it between three fingers before tossing it into the portal. In her left hand, her data-pad showed that all signal had been lost, as if ceasing to exist. "Well, that certainly does not bode well, in my personal and unbiased opinion. These can be tracked to pinpoint a location from quite a distance away so anyone's guess as to why it lost tracking is as good as mine. What are our current options at the moment?" said Celestine as she slipped her data-pad back into the satchel, then looked around at her fellow squad members.
It was painfully obvious that both Stukov and Adrianne were not pleased by the revelation that Maya was indeed an Aeldari. Thankfully though their local and definitely mentally sound Tech-Priest Medaira was ecstatic about the discovery. Sensing the distrust and want to end her life, Maya motioned for Andromedai and Solares to fall back behind the other three so they could talk in privacy. "I do hope I have not managed to ram a wedge in-between you and your friends, Celestian Andromedai. Perhaps I should just leave and go my own way for now? It would be simple to return to my homeworld." said Maya in a tone of voice that showed her concern. Andromedai shook her head, "That will not be necessary, I will speak to them about how we came to know each other and a few other things once we are seated. Hopefully it will help clear up any concerns and misunderstandings before anything happens." As soon as Andromedai had finished speaking, a woman wearing crimson and red armor approached the retinue and gave them a crisp salute. "Good evening Inquisitorial Retinue, I am Valkia, and will be helping assist you all with anything you may need this evening. I have your usual secluded table in a private corner of the restaurant ready and waiting." said their evenings host, motioning to the vacant table that awaited them.

"It is appreciated as always, Valkia." said Andromedai as she moved front and center as she moved to their designated table. The Celestian Sister of Battle was the first to take a seat in the booth, and as soon as she had positioned herself comfortably, she removed her helmet and set it on the seat next to her. Solares would take a seat at one far end of the table, and Maya would take the other. Once everyone had been seated where they wished, Valkia would practically appear out of nowhere and hand out thick menus to everyone present before swiftly heading off back out of sight. "Alright my friends, I know you all have your concerns about our new guest here and completely understand where you are coming from. We have all been through a lot together, from small skirmishes, to full scale wars, we have always been by each others side, and hope that you will trust me as I have always trusted each of you. Though that is easier said then done, even more so when our guest is well, you saw. So Maya and myself felt that an explanation is in order." Andromedai repositioned herself in her chair just as a round of waters were delivered. She would wait till they were alone again before starting.

"What I am about to say can not be repeated to anyone untill the official information is released to the masses of the Imperium. Merely even mentioning this could land all of us in serious trouble, as in execution or much worse. I will do my best to keep this short and to the point but that may not happen, since there is a lot to explain here. A long while ago, the stellar realm of Ultramar came under sustained attack from myriad foes, being part of what we believe was a portion of the Black Fleet. Thus began another desperate and bloody invasion of the Ultramarines' home realm remembered as the Ultramar Campaign of the thirteenth Black Crusade. The Celestinian Crusade, made up of many very well known and feared factions within the Imperium of man, allied with the Ynnari's commanders and a number of additional Eldar forces fought back against the Black Fleets Chaos forces."

"The combined forces faced off against over a hundred Black Legionaries, though even as the combined forces fought to help Belisarius Cawl, he was unable to complete his objective alone. I am unsure as to what happened, but something happened with the Eldar. It resulted with the return of Primarch Roboute Guilliman! An awakened and enraged Primarch Roboute Guilliman proved much more than the Chaos attackers were prepared to deal with. Guilliman slaughtered the attacking forces of Chaos and provided an extraordinary surge in morale for his Ultramarines and the other Loyalist forces. After the battle had come to an end, Primarch Roboute Guilliman gave the forces his blessing and thanks to all those present, Eldar included. Where does Maya and myself fit into all of this? We fought alongside each other during Ultramar Campaign of the thirteenth Black Crusade, she has proven herself to not only myself, but also to the Imperium of man as well. In fact, we are currently Allied with these Eldar in few ways, which even I am still trying to accept."
Andromedai crossed her arms over her chest when she finished, then glanced over at Maya.

"What she says is the truth, ever since then we have been friends, and in all honestly I am surprised it took me this long to show up and be part of the retinue. I hope you all will give me the chance to prove my loyalty and fight along side you, as Celestian Andromedai, Sister of Battle Solares, and other forces of the Imperium have." Once Maya finished, both Andromedai, Solares, and Maya looked at the rest of the retinue with silence, awaiting their reply.
