Jadaria Brookes
Abel Marks
The ranger and the trainer stared at Haboko with raised eyebrows, Leo's stare continuing to pierce the man's very existence. "O-okay..." Jade finally responded, using Leo to pull herself up to a standing position. "Didn't mean to freak you out, you seemed kind of familiar. But I guess not, I would distinctly remember a mask like that." She shrugged, swatting Leo's nose with a scolding look. "Behave." She hissed before returning her attention to the boys. "So was my partnership with Leo the only reason you came over here, or...?" She asked, Abel rolling his eyes in the background. "Geez, what's your problem?" She frowned, planting her hands on her hips.
Abel shook his head, holding his hands up in mock innocence. "Nothing, I don't have a problem." Jade's frown deepened into a glare.
"Obviously you do have a problem, rolling your eyes back there like some kind of Ace Trainer snob." Abel was slightly surprised at the girl's ability to pick out his trainer status, but pushed that feeling away quickly. Just a lucky guess. He thought to himself grumpily.
"Obviously you're the one with the problem, picking a fight with an "Ace Trainer snob" when I've already told you that I don't have a problem." He growled back, meeting her glare with a glare of his own. The stare off was so intense one could almost see the sparks flying through the air.
