Location: Alcatraz Island; AEGIS Complex, Recreation Wing - Dorm Room heading to Cafeteria
His roommate didn't speak as he tilted his head to the side to examine Seobin as the chocolate skinned delight meditated. He waved his hand in front of his face as if trying to get a reaction out of Seobin, but Seobin remained unmoved.
"Wow," the younger male mouthed as he sat down in front of Seobin.
"You were two seconds away from flying across the room," Seobin said, his eyes still closed. In front of him were three large metal balls, each weighing more than the other, and effortlessly they began to lift and revolve in a circle in front of Seobin. "Might I ask your name?"
"Joey," the young male said, awestruck at Seobin's innocent display. "Who are you? Kinetic Man or something?"
"Seobin, just call me Seobin."
One of the metal ball floated over to Joey and landed gently on the floor in front of him. When Seobin finally opened his eyes, he managed to smile. Joey was a blonde hair, blue eyed short guy who liked to tan. The obvious sun kissed skin was edvidence in his many hours in the sunlight.
"What are you here for?" Seobin said, holding out his hand as one metal ball hovered dangerously close to his palm.
"I can teleport. It took them some time to catch me, and after a few bank heists I was eventually found and brought here."
A loud knock at the door broke Seobin's concentration and the smallest metal ball crashed through the door and struck the man in his privates. Seobin winced when he heard the groan followed by the sound of a body hitting the unforgiving floor. Joey was first to the door and Seobin followed. The guard was holding his injured manhood, and Joey had the biggest grin plastered on his face while Seobin knelt down to help the guard up.
"Easy sir, easy, that was a 10 lb metal ball."
"Where did you.... get them?" the guard said, glaring at Seobin.
"Well, I... I kinda pressed metal together to make them. It wasn't easy, but with enough force..."
"Nevermind that. It's dinner time get your asses to the cafeteria."
"But you're hurt," Seobin said. "At least let me get you to the infirmary..."
Joey shook his head leaning against the door with his arms crossed. There wasn't any arguing that would relieve the pain the guard was in, and reluctantly he agreed to have Seobin help him to the infirmary, but he explained that the weights would be confiscated. Joey went to the cafeteria ahead of Seobin. He was silent as they moved through the halls of the facility. Each step the guard took a curse spilled from his mouth.
"I am terribly sorry," Seobin said.
"I know, you've apologized repeatedly since we left your dorm."
The rounded a corner and arrived at their destination. Seobin handed the guard over to those in charge at the infirmary and sighed as he turned to leave.
"Hey kid." Seobin turned to see the guard give him a thumbs up. "Keep training. You'll get there."
The walk to the cafeteria was silent. His mind spinning like a tornado after everything that had happened.
"Seobin, you got this," he said. Speaking in first person helped him come to term with things. There were so many gifted people there, and they were all there for a reason. Some of them would try to resist whatever influence this place had, but Seobin would do his best to make sure his world was safe and sound. He would be a father his son would be proud of.
