Shinichi Saito
Shinichi was panicking. He took one hit and got cocky, and now he was going to be stabbed again. Except this time he was going to be stabbed with a sword, not a dinky pocket knife. The knowledge that he would probably be fine in the long run didn't help. Being stabbed hurt. It hurt a lot. Shinich put his hands up in the air.
"Hey man, maybe I was a bit hasty. Why don't we go back to the other sword?"
Then, hoping he had put the other boy off guard, Shinichi tried stepping to the side, and aimed a kick at the back of his legs. If he could just knock him down, the fight would be over!

"You might as well come in, the door's open."
Shin turned back to his notebook. Having the Institute's barebones notes on the new students was one thing, but seeing them in action was another entirely. While there was of course the usual Augmenters hitting each other and Architects throwing things at each other, there were also some more interesting abilities at play. A girl controlling electricity, with the control to create a field at range. A boy who could shoot some form of beam attack. And a girl who said she could enhance the abilities of others. This was looking to be a promising crop.

I think the extra drawback is from the Magical Overload requirement to take Monstrous Form.
Would we still have to change it?
Monstrous Form uses up one of your drawbacks.

I'm not sure if it's just me missing things [cause I didn't read through 'whole' CSes, just browsed to make sure I wasn't somehow ending up with a nearly identical character to someone else XD] but I swore I saw a lot of 'uneven ratio of drawbacks' here and there, when every patron has 2 minimum except for Solo. Am I just misunderstanding something and giving mine 'too many' drawbacks? >3>
Every character should have 2 benefits and drawbacks from their patron, one free benefit from the Universal list, and can take extra drawbacks depending on their patron. Everybody will end up with one more benefit than they have drawbacks.
I had a look through, and it seems like a few people are missing the free benefit. @Shifter_Master@Rice Porridge@canaryrose@Card Captor@EnterTheHero@IceHeart, you are all either missing the extra benefit or have an extra drawback.
@t2wave, you shouldn't have a Universal Drawback, just the Benefit.

@Western Robot Is there a specification for what ages are acceptable, otherwise?
Edit: Hm. I might be able to get the same effect my making her a former cripple. Like, have her be paralyzed for a whole lot of her life or so. Heh.

Alright, the IC has now started. If your character wouldn't be at the meeting, you can show them elsewhere.
If an outsider was to visit the clearing behind the pond in Penrose Park at this moment, they would be very confused. A large group of children, mostly girls, was currently milling about. Many of them were wearing very strange costumes, and some of those costumes could be described as downright improper for a child. To top things off, there was no adult supervision. This would seem very strange indeed to an outsider.
To those in the know, however, this was a very important meeting. To those with the ability to See, these weren't just children, but Magical Girls, Boys, and a few of their enigmatic creators, the Puchuu. There were even monsters in attendance, though they had been asked to remain untransformed.
At midnight, the meeting officially started.
Victoria glanced up from her watch. It was finally time to begin. She clapped her hands and spoke, "May my power stop those with hearts of darkness, and purify the lost souls! Rage forth, ice!"
She transformed, and bright blue light surrounded her as she did. Once it stopped, she was in costume. She looked down at herself and smiled, then clapped her hands. A pillar of ice formed beneath her, elevating her a few feet above everyone else.
"Alright everyone, listen up! My name is Victoria. You may have heard of me as Ice Blue, though. I have been active in this city for a few years, now, before a lot of you newbies showed up. And as I am sure we all know, the amount of feral monsters has been steadily increasing. If things keep going the way they have, we are going to be overrun.
"I have discussed things with my Puchuu, and he agrees with me. That is why we called this meeting. I would like to propose an alliance. No more magical girl attacking magical girl, or bothering monsters who have the will to stay good. And if a member of the alliance needs help, we step in and help them. Now, who will stand with me?"

@PlatinumSkink Your characters look good for the most part. While the portals seem OP at first blush, I can see that you've put weaknesses into them. I'm a little leery of having her be so young before being changed, though. Is that a vital par tof the character, or something you'd be up for changing?

I guess you two are so wrapped up in your fight that you didn't notice that Freyja had already told everyone to stop.
I was thinking it was two different fights. Did she want Ryousei and Shinichi to stop too? Because they're a bit into the tree line, not next to the other battle.
