...I don't feel like it'd be helpful, specifically because I feel like it robs chances for character development. That, and I hardly see how the solution to waiting until friday is to make the important event closer.

True, I'm ok with hiatus till Friday. Ff we really did not want character development, we'd not be bothered by the story thus far or maybe even further. it'd be as easy as saying "you'r now a toa. No questioning it."

Let's do a little timeskip.

Kumanu and Hura are almost ready to go their separate ways, and we can say that the three at the festival all had a good time and talked long into the night without going into too many specifics.

That leaves everyone ready to launch into the festival once Tree comes back into action.

I feel no need to hurry it. I can wait for tree to be back.
Also, to me its a nonissue to not play out the three that are at the festival atm.

Thanks. Awesome. Much appreciated. Do you think it would be smarter to leave old appearance descriptions, masks, relations, etc. in the CS and keep it visually neat by way of hiders, or save them off site?

I myself like to have everything on one page and I use hiders usually for anything that takes more than 3 rows of space. I can see the advantages of offsite but I feel personally feel like stacking them under some new hider in CS. Either by adding a new sub section of CS as "archive" or something or just add to the main as something like "old" or something.

Rauta Followed Suavo to the tent while marveling how well the festival was coming together. stopping on the way to get some fried dikapi leg and then hurriedly caught up to the others, already eating his food.

When they arrive to the tent he felt awestruck as he never imagined to coming to a place like this.

The sun already setting, Rauta decided that it was time to close the shop and go out to look around the Red Star Festival, or rather setting up of it. He was exited as he did like the festival and it was just around the corner. once he set out, he admired the amount decoration dedicated by the Fe-matoran, feeling that while impressive, 'He could do better'. He did not sell his wares on a stall as he held a belief that for something to be truly satisfactory it had to be made specifically for the client.
While he was walking around he saw there were already some people from outside of Fe-Congro and as he approaches He recognizes one matoran especially, Suavo. It's not hard to recognizes him as he is bot well known and has black armor highlighted by purple and gold. While he doesn't have any personal ties with Suavo, Rauta has seen his performances. He decides to approach him and a matoran with Dark pine green armor highlighted by neon green stripes going down the center. as he approaches he sees Suavo gently flick a pebble at his mate.

"Hi there, you are Suavo aren't you? What makes you arrive this early?" He questions and looks over to the the one in green before introducing himself, "My name is Rauta an I'm a blacksmith, I have a forge little further from the center." "I hope I didn't disturb anything" and before even letting anyone take a breath he asks, "Who's she?"

FRAMEs (Mech combat, political intrigue & corporate struggles)

While his fellow pilots asked questions his mind was wandering thinking of how much he should try to make contact before the first mission as the odds are, it's a very optimistic result to expect everyone to be up to the job. Maybe even he himself would not make a cut.
His attention snapped back when when he heard a very important question asked:

"Do we have any information on the numbers and strength of the security forces?"

He heard a woman say, immediately noticing the very burring nature of her pronunciation of 'R' and judging by her smile, she was a veteran of the Panthers.

Then before he got to give it any more thought her question was answered and he wanted to hear it well;

"I can't give you a hard number, but I would expect at least two FRAMEs per vehicle. There are supposed to be four to five trucks...."

He felt that there was something odd with the number of FRAMEs escorting the truck. what is worth 4 million in credits that is protected by roughly double the FRAMEs to transports. He did not get too long to linger with that question as another Person started to ask a question,

"I hope you'll allow me to get some more extensive command-and-control modules with a more specialized mech, soon, because I'm not much of a front line fighter. Not out of lack of skill, I'm just better at pointing out where things are goin' south, you know?..."

but it turned more to a rant not long after and he stopped paying attention to it. but still breaking a little smile as he knew that at least there would be chatter to lighten up the mood.

"If there are no further questions, you're all dismissed. Be ready to board your FRAMEs at 0700. Don't keep us waiting."

Aristo / Cecilia

as prompted he went off and he wanted to make sure that his FRAME was up to the task so he went up to check on it, on his way when he came to the FRAME hangar and his what drew his attention was when he heard:

"Gah!"

he saw a man that was not at the briefing but he decided to get off the scene, he didn't want to make bonds before he knew they would make a cut, or if he did for that matter, feeling a little down about how he did turn his tail at the enemy while rest of his squad was slaughtered but reminding himself there was nothing he could have done for them, aside from living on in their stead. He pushed those thoughts aside as he came to 'Revenant', his own frame while not very personalized yet, he felt that naming his FRAMEs deepened his connection to it.

He went inside and looked over his equipment one more time, also running test on components so there would be no nasty surprises on the field. After looking over his FRAME he decided to have his cockpit open and wait for GO, casually looking over the frames of the others.

Long answer: This goes back to the early days of BIONICLE when LEGO was grabbing a bunch of words and grammar from the maori language, and in maori, like other languages with polynesian roots, does not pluralise by adding an s or anything else to the end of the noun....
