As long as things are nice, simple, and I can use an original character, I'm down with anything.

If we vote, I think it is more than one topic to vote over.
Who?
()Cannon Only(including cannon alternate)
()Amalgam
()Originals Only
()All
When?
{}Past
{}Present
{}Future
{}Alternate timeline
Where?
[]Two worlds permanently linked(an open portal in a major city for free flowing traffic 24/7, for example.)
[]Two worlds separated (rare occurrences and limited travel)
[]One world amalgamated (supergladiator flying over Metrocago while darkclaw swings through gothyork)
[]One world apart (Batman trades blows with doctor doom in the blue forest of Pandora)
Why?
<>Contest(good versus evil, one universe versus another)
<>Conflict(all versus one opponent)
<>Conquer(some seeking to use this opportunity to their advantage)
<>Confusion(WTF?!?)
I'm totally interested! I'll probably have an original character. Going to lurk a bit to see if this picks up traction.
I can't really think of how the two universes collide aside from one major being wanting to muck about in each universe and The Living Tribunal/The Presence thinks the only way to make things right is to have heroes (and maybe villains?) from each work together. Gathering all major artifacts, amassing an "army" to confront one of the major baddies (or both at the same time) and after they defeat one they now possess the power to wreck the other with all the major artifacts and whatever gave the now defeated bad-person the ability to cause such havok.
But I'm just spitballin' here.

That totally makes sense. Thanks for the clarification. I think I'm gonna go with an original character, but I wanted to know how open my options were.
Interested!
So, Winter, just to clarify, by Non-Canon you mean original characters, right? How about different versions of another character? Say, a reincarnation of Robin, or Moon Knight, or Deathlok.
