"We're undercover. This is a very important undercover operation which you are endangering just by talking to us. Look, I have a gun. I am Detective Inspector Me. This is my partner, Detective Her."
"Her?"
"Me."
"Him?"
"Not me. Her"
"Me."
"You?"
"Yes."
"I'm sorry who are you?"
"I'm Her, he's Me. Got it? Good. You better get out of here before you blow our cover. They've got snipers."

Ian Stryder

Ian watched her curiously as she set to work on his legs. He kept his hand clenched on the spear, just in case. In truth, as calmly as he joked around, he didn't know this girl. Besides that the way she acted was just strange. No emotion anywhere on her body. Her face seemed permanently blank. Almost bored. She was the complete opposite of Ian. Moody and uptight. Perhaps he could change that, rub off on her a little bit and help her to lighten up. Hell he had no idea what exactly she had been through before, but they were on a new world. They were the kings and queens. They were the rulers. They were the gods. They could be whoever they wanted.

"Velvet Moons? Really? God that's so lame." He tried out her name. It was terribly boring. He shrugged unapologetically. "You can be anyone, you do realize that. We are free. Free! We aren't bound anymore, not that I ever was. But seriously, have fun with this shit. I'm Pleasant, if you were wondering... or maybe Jackson... Uh... no, I remember now. It was Pleasant, you can call me Pleasant. I'm Pleasant both in name and person." He winked at her. "And I must say my... how did you put it... 'presence to satisfy my human need companionship.' Yeah that. You won't be disappointing. I am the most companioning person you know. The companioner. The most companionest." Ian made fun of her robot-like speech by completely butchering his own.

Standing up next to Velvet, Ian's head turned with hers as the crashing sound echoed through the forest. "North? Wait a minute. I thought we were heading South! Ugh! Now we have to turn around and head back." Using the spear like a walking stick, he moved only slightly in the opposite direction of Velvet. The direction of the giant growling beast. Pausing he spun 180 degrees on his good foot and started heading North. "Come now Velvet, I told you we should head North." Passing her he began walking up the hill. "Come now don't fall behind, I'm only giving you... twelve seconds."

Jackson Aurum

Time: 6:50 P.M.
Location: The Beach Party
Interacting With: Analise - @Aewin

As Jackson watched her he could see doubt filling her face. The smile faded away and she began chewing on her lip in thought. He knew this was an important time in her decision on him, but he couldn't help thinking about how cute she looked when she did that. It put a innocent look on her face that melted him inside. The urge to kiss her was so strong he felt like he was going to explode from the pressure. But he knew he couldn't. In fact, her hesitation probably already meant she wasn't interested. It had felt like she was interested, the way she'd held onto his arm.

Then her phone began to buzz. And buzz. And buzz. Whatever was happening with her phone, wouldn't stop. Jackson's face fell blank as he stared at it. Was she- Yes. She answered it, briefly apologizing. In the dark part of his mind, he felt angry. Not at Ana, but whoever was texting her. This was their moment. That perfect special time, that felt like hours, when it was only really minutes. Luckily she finished with the interferor quickly.

Jackson smiled kindly at her as she tried to apologize, stuttering over her words. To be honest he was quite nervous himself, he almost didn't trust himself to speak for the anticipation of her choice was simply killing him. "It's fine, I don't care about the phone." The words came out soft, barely above a whisper, so they had to lean close together. Leaning forward just a little bit more, his head came to a rest at hers.

Foreheads together his heart thudded like a giant drum in his chest. It seemed like it was the only thing he could hear. For a moment he closed his eyes, trying to calm himself down. To not say something stupid that would ruin the moment. Opening them it seemed to him that Ana was just as nervous. Which probably meant he shouldn't kiss her again. Just give her a second to think about it, at least.

Stepping back from their intimate position, Jackson took of his coat and laid it on the sand. It was a nice coat, but he didn't have a care in the world for it right now. Grabbing her hand once again, he pulled her lightly down so that they were sitting, facing towards the ocean. Letting go of her hand, he wrapped his arm around her shoulders, pulling her in close to him. Her body was warm next to his. A pleasant feeling with the nice cool ocean breeze. They weren't really doing anything, but Jackson was happy. It was simple. Nice and simple.

"If you'll think back I did warn you about entering unknown waters and the potential of predators. I see I was right about the predator; just what did you expect me to do? Jump in and save you?"

Ian stopped moving towards her, standing, staring. It was quite. "YES! That's a normal human thing to do! Even for me!" He ignored her next words, instead saying, "We could have fought it off together. Team Crazy, back to back, fighting off evil Stevens!" Realizing that the girl might not know what a Steven was he held it up as he said it's name. "He's a bit nasty on the surface, but really once you get to know him, past the rough scales and serrated teeth, he really is a passionate lover."

Glancing down at his leg, Ian once more looked insulted. "Really? My leg too? Do you really have to insult everything I do? First you ditch me with the fish, now you're insulting my medical work and survival skills. What's next? Am I too tall also? Actually, on second thought, I've heard that one before. You're going to have to think of something more original. Like my ears. Say something about my ears." He smiled for a second having thought of the perfect insult, before realizing it was about him. "Nevermind, don't. That would be just mean. You would be a mean person. Not a good person. A bad... mean... evil... ugly person. Sorry, that was a bit mean of me. See! Now you're rubbing off on me! God, you're great. Great at being terrible. Not great at being great. That's me. I'm great at being great. You're great at being terrible. Still great, but terrible at the same time. And as for my medical aid, me and my leg will be taking our services elsewhere. We feel we have been insulted enough. Good day mam!"

Ian turned his body, properly sticking out his hurt leg and putting his full weight onto it. Immediately it collapsed beneath his body. Support missing, the rest of him crashed down, faceplanting straight into the soft dirt. Raising his head Ian's eyes locked onto the girl. Begrudgingly he stuck out his leg. "This, does not mean I've forgiven you."
