Lil was in a bad mood. And late. The late thing wasn't all too unusual, but the mood thing was something new-ish. Ever since Tristan had up and ditched her at the party, a black cloud just seemed to hover over her head at all times. Everything went wrong after that night. Her feet were still sore, with cuts and bruises. Glaring down at the cursed blue-leather covered things attached to her feet, Lil stomped away from the cafeteria towards her class. After a few feet of stomping, she quickly stopped, realizing she was only making herself look like a fool and hurting herself. "Damn, fucking feet."

Walking through the hallway Lil's phone began to buzz in her pocket. Pulling it out, she saw the sender. Tristan. Of course it was Tristan. Not a word for days and suddenly, 'Hey I'm back!' Swiping on the phone's screen she pulled open the app and read the message. The fucking audacity of this guy. Hitting the phone's screen angrily she typed back a short curt message.

Shoving the phone back in her pocket, Lily turned down the path to her class. Most everyone had already made it to their classes by now. Not expecting anyone to be in front of her she picked up a little bit of speed. Tardy's were building up on her report, she could use one good day. Turning another corner Lil ran face first into a man standing next to a girl. Flying back after bouncing off of his chest, she landed hard on the ground, backpack flying. "FUCK!" Lily slammed her fist down on the ground. Her hand came back stinging, small cuts starting to bleed. 

Standing up fast, Lily turned on the person she ran into. The person who so obviously was at fault here. Alexandros. Sly, smooth, drug dealing Alexandros. Adderall addict feeder Alexandros. Of course it was him. Angrily, Lily picked up her backpack, a little to fast so it swung around her body instead of hitting her shoulder. Shoving passed him, Lil hit him with her shoulder as she passed, clenching her injured fist to her body. "Watch it, fucking candy man." She was so angry, she didn't even acknowledge the innocent looking creature beside him.

Jocelyn stands at a rather short 5'4", with a healthy lithe and petite figure. She's secretly proud of her firm, perky butt and her tiny waist, but wishes her small bust size would be bigger. The one feature that makes Josie stand out from the crowd is her red hair. She has straight bangs that reach her eyebrows, and her hair is often styled in either loose waves or whichever new hairstyle she feels like trying that day. Her brown eyes have a bright, kind twinkle to them, and she has a clear, light complexion. She wears minimal makeup (only enough to highlight her natural beauty), and her clothing style can be described as girly. Her clothes are often from affordable stores like Goodwill, Ross, etc., and she takes pride in building girly, affordable looks that don't break her bank. She always wears a gold bracelet with seven charms on it that symbolizes the Thompson family: a gift from her father on her sixteenth birthday.

Jocelyn is one of the sweetest, most gentle girls one could ever meet. At first, she's very shy, quiet and reserved. Once you dig deeper, however, you find an outgoing, friendly and fun girl whose loyal to you until the very end. She always sees the good in everyone and everything, and tries her hardest to make those around her happy. She's excellent at listening and giving advice even when she hasn't faced the situation first-hand. Apart from all the qualities mentioned above, Josie has a very caring nature that makes her perfect for her babysitting job, which she does with incredible pride. Kids love her and the goofy She avoids using swear words and hanging out with people that may cause her trouble. 

On the down side, Josie's a gentle soul that's very easily hurt due to very sensitive nature. She's more prone to bursting into tears of frustration than fighting back in the midst of an argument. However, she won't stand quietly if she sees any form abuse on others. She's also very insecure, and so public speaking or any time of public activities gets her nervous to the point of nearly fainting. She has a tendency to overthink things because she's afraid of doing the wrong thing and disappointing others or herself.

In the romantic aspect, Jocelyn dreams of finding that one man who will sweep her off her feet and show her what it's like to be loved. Once she finds him, she will love him deep and hard with a loyalty like no other. She has this idea of living a fairy tale romance, but knows that the stories don't always have a happy ending. Though she wants to fall in love, she's scared of her relationship meeting the same end that her parents did.

D E F I N I N G  M Y  P A S T


History:
Jocelyn Jade Thompson was born on February 18 of 1996; the third child of businessman Henry Thompson and nurse Judith Thompson. She grew up in a high-middle class neighborhood in the outskirts of a small New Jersey town around her twin brothers Jonathan and James. The three shared incredible times together, and grew up to be inseparable. Eventually, Henry and Judith added little Julia to the family when Josie was 4, and she was over the moon about having a sister to play with. And to finalize the family, Julius made his entrance to the world when Josie was 6. All was well in the family until Jocelyn started high school. Henry, who spent a fair time away from his family because of his line of work, began to slowly start drifting away from them. This caused many arguments throughout the years, until by the time Jocelyn was in her sophomore year they had separated and were working on getting divorced. This caused Jocelyn to become very sad, seeing as she hadn't wanted things between them to end like this. Of course, it didn't take long for her to realize that sometimes things work better apart than together, and she eventually accepted the news.

A month after finishing her sophomore year of high school, Henry and Judith's divorce had been finalized. Henry was moving to Toronto, where he'd gotten an excellent job position, and Judith was left with custody of all five siblings. As a parting gift to his children, Henry gave them the small California beach house in which they used to spend their holidays in. Since they couldn't afford to live in their old place due to Judith not having enough income on her own, they were forced to relocate from New Jersey to California during the summer before Jocelyn's junior year. Judith quickly found a job in the local hospital, and the twins did the same. Jocelyn took onto babysitting to help her family and be able to look after her younger siblings while her mother works. This was a big change for the Thompsons, but they managed to quickly adapt to these changes like troopers.

This bumps on the road only made the Thompson kids stronger and more thankful for everything they have. James and Jonathan are super protective of their first baby sister, and Jocelyn's the same regarding all of them. She also looks up to her mother for her hard work and all the love she continues to give them even after these difficult times. She has no hard feelings towards her father, and keeps constant communication with him. After all, she's his first little girl.
