History Fact: Caterina Sforza was a complete badass, who whilst under siege made a point of bombarding the houses of her enemies from the walls of her castle.

Hmm. I do have an interest in demons, and I've been looking to hone my writing skills when it comes to romance-and one can only glean so much by buying gay romance by the truckload on kindle (alas) and I *have* just left an RPG, so I've got an opening.

....Yeeeeeeeeah. And with that post featuring the dismission of the group of folks in politics who defend my right to marry.....
Politics isn't just some "thing" for some of us, it's a life or death fight for our rights against people who think we being who we are causes goddamn hurricanes of all things.
I don't know what this drama is, and I don't care. But I do care about quite a few things dismissed in that post. I left the discord over this stuff, and now...well...

Looking over your list, it seems like a pretty diverse mixture of sci-fi and fantasy. I've got a few ideas I've been wanting to try that might fit into some of them.
Are you familiar with the Eragon series? I've got a character worked up for it that might work under some of the sections you posted. Failing that, I've also get some ideas for other settings.
Also a pretty big Star Wars/Trek fan. Tend to play remnants of the Empire and the Star Empire in those.
Also...tend to write mxm, romance wise, figured I should mention that.
I generally don't write ahem, certain 18+ stuff. It sort of bores me to be honest.

Like, 50% of the Eastermark Counties runs off of stiff-minded, almost delusional levels of "it's just what you do."
Half of them aren't fighting the "tides of barbarity" because they think they can *win*, but because it's what a Doge/Count/whathaveyou is supposed to do.

Most heroes are either dead or retired. If you are playing as a new Punisher, he can still be alive, but he will have to be retired. There are very few heroes who are still active, and only because it makes sense for them to be active. At this time, the "old heroes" are, well, old. So, yes he can run into these new heroes, but he can only really be a mentor or something along those lines.
Also, most of the hero bands, Avengers included, have disbanded.
