Okay, this one is a little sloppy and small because if I enlarged it would be very pixelated and the geography would be unrecognizable.
Can I get the situation of Rastenburg, ie landscape and people??? SO I know what the county is good for and what it might not support. Also the von Hoffendolts will have Rastenburg (County), Rastenburg (Castle), Alleburg and Bunenburg. That leaves all the villages and the town of Manningen for others in Rastenburg. Is that okay??? I want to leave some of the small holdings to others.People are by a vast majority of Germanic origin. Landscape is hilly around Rastenburg, a bit more mountainous to the south and has a strip of plain in the very north around Manningen while the villages between them are on a transition. As for holdings, you only want to own castles?
They answer to the count of the county that their estates are in, not the count that is their family member. This opens the possibility of one member of the house fighting against the other members in case of war between two counts. Of course, that member has a choice to either be loyal to his count or his family. One other thing that I noticed some of you may be confused with. Just because you have the title of count doesn't mean that every estate in the county is yours, or that your family owns land only in that particular county. For example, one noble house could be awarded land in two or three different administrative divisions, meaning that those outside the county that belongs to you will have to pay taxes to the local administration (i.e. if von Hoffendolts have a count of Lictenau, they don't own all of the county. They may also have holdings in the lands that are directly under Manburg or in county of Dobersberg, meaning that the lords of those holdings will pay taxes to the Duke and the count of Dobersberg, respectively) PS) The example was hypothetical.Aye I know. But all the lords, knights etc. that run the towns answer to the count.
Thank you. Basically, the county of Greinbourg is the granary of the duchy :P We have big plains for cereals, some hills for wine... and also a whole river! Great, really great; it fits with the plan I had in mind. However, I'd like to add a mountain in a specific place. To be precise, It would be fantastic to have the castle of Greinbourg on a small and steep mountain. May I or is it forbidden?Of course. Hills are everywhere in Austria, apparently :D
So are you assigning people their holdings or do we get to determine exactly what we have?I will assign the holdings, yes. As for titles, the four counts have been determined. The other royal houses that do not have counts can have Burgraves, Lords, Knights or Edlers. All of these I've explained in one of the last two or three pages. Once the Roleplay starts and all the players are determined I will give you some fiefs and you can assign your family members freely as to who owns what estate. I may not have explained this too well as I'm about to go to bed. If there are still things that are a bit confusing I will be happy to explain them best way I can tomorrow. Just a reminder for everyone that the number of live family members at one point of the game should not exceed 15 in total, both male and female.
Alright but eh still probably have some but whatever.Take your time, I won't start the RP yet.
Eh the I'm not good with time lines especially for specific family. It's not a huge issue, simply copy/paste Adolf II after Leon and switch their years. Perhaps change some other inconsistencies if there are any. Btw the map of the duchy:
