Hello! Nice to see you, eh?

I'm Yami, a college student and sometimes decent artist heavily influenced by anime/manga styles. Um...I'm not that interesting, really. I do some cosplay stuff and can get really into anything that interests me enough, but that's about it.

I might be in a bit of a slump right now, actually. I'm looking for something really fascinating to pique my interest once again, help me get back into the swing of things. I'm into crazy fantasy situations, especially.

Name: Olivan Medit D'Atalan
Age: 17
Parent: Ursula
Appearance: Approximately 5' 9" with dark, nearly shoulder length hair and lightly tan skin, though it seems to be gaining an oddly purple tinge to it as of late. While he does appear to be a dark-colored octopus from the waist down for the most part, he has been using magic learned from his mother to give him legs to walk on land more easily.

I'm trying really hard to remember if there was ever a rendition of The Little Mermaid where Ursula has any relation to Triton, but I'm drawing a blank. I was going to make Triton be the scornful lover if I'm wrong, but I have this odd memory of seeing somewhere that the two were related and I really don't want to deal with that particular kettle of fish if that's true.
I'll get a post up as soon as I can! I might be travelling tomorrow, though, so I'm not certain exactly when. Probably whenever I can get internet access.

This thing with my alerts is getting ridiculous. I need to figure out a better plan for it.

"Perhaps the housekeeper may forgive this breach of instructions this once. We can say that we're learning social skills."

It was nice to see that the others were okay with the idea so far, it seemed like it would make the task a lot easier. Since they all seemed to be on board, he took a moment to type his next thoughts on the tablet. "We just have to make a meal, correct? So the first thing we should probably think of is what kind of a meal we should make. What occasion is this for? I do not believe it has been mentioned whether we should make breakfast, lunch, dinner, or any mix out of the three. Lunch is an obvious option, but not our only one if we go by those rules. So we can essentially try any food that anyone is in the mood for."

After thinking for another moment about what else they needed, he typed out another message. "Second, we should take the group taste into account. Does anyone have allergies or other limitations? If we know that, we can more easily decide on a meal that everyone will be able to eat, and even plan for substitutes before any problems arise. There's no point in making food that will not have a use."

"Were you expecting a bad one or something?" Felice glanced over at the other boy who chimed in, though he didn't hold his attention for particularly long at the moment. Turning back to the instructor, he nodded at the response. "Va bene, I'll keep it in mind. Thank you."

Alright. Thanks!
@KatherinWinter

Should I change it? Give me a bit, I need to think of another way to check this, then.

"That didn't answer my question. Are these all traditional modern sports, or do we get to interpret 'activities' a bit more loosely than that? Dancing isn't considered a traditional sport, even though it can be just as strenuous and often follows the same basic underlying ideas. Jousting isn't often considered a modern sport as it's out of practice for a lot of mortals, but it used to be one of the most well-respected ones in Europe." The redhead released a small puff of air. It had been an honest question rather than an expression of distaste, but since the other child - the one Scarlet seemed to be equally irritated at, oddly enough - expressed his own disapproval, he figured that it had led the teacher to mistake his own question for a similar protest. Cada maladetta volta...someone always has to cause a misunderstanding. It's like I never agreed to speak like this sometimes. Leaving the incensed thought for a moment, he returned to the question.

"How exactly are we restricted? In terms of interpretation and originality?"

Felice picked up the flash drive carefully, finding it a bit unfortunate that it had just been left on the floor. Everyone could be clumsy, though, so it wasn't anything particularly odd. Looking it over for markings, he briefly wondered about exactly where it came from. I doubt it's anything useful...the chance of a faculty member using it for anything important just misplacing it is abysmally low. They'd probably be flayed alive. Scowling a bit more, he let out a small sigh. An unexpectedly useful bit of information would be just what he needed, but this was probably just more files regarding plays and scripts. Maybe if he was really lucky, though, it would be empty. He didn't need all the files on the computer, either, just a few. If he kept it hidden well enough after, maybe he could use it for something else another time.

Might as well see how much space it has, anyway. After a few moments of searching, he eventually found the USB port and plugged in the portable device. Returning to the screen, he waited a second for the computer to connect and opened the drive files.
I swear that I have a CS in the making, I'm just having a lot of trouble deciding which characters should be parents...

On another note, I'll also be unavailable for a lot of Friday and possibly Saturday, though I'll try to check in and will try to get my CS up before then.
