Hello! Nice to see you, eh?

I'm Yami, a college student and sometimes decent artist heavily influenced by anime/manga styles. Um...I'm not that interesting, really. I do some cosplay stuff and can get really into anything that interests me enough, but that's about it.

I might be in a bit of a slump right now, actually. I'm looking for something really fascinating to pique my interest once again, help me get back into the swing of things. I'm into crazy fantasy situations, especially.

Ah...for the railing the log moves across...can I assume that it works in a way similar to a zipline? I can't seem to get a good visual on the bar at the top.

Meh, I just had a really long obsession with Greek/Roman myths when I was younger - mythology units in school were an easy GPA boost for me. I'm just glad that you know who Eris is, though; most of the people in my classes couldn't ever seem to get that somehow and that frustrated me.

My class was weird, though. Or maybe I was.

But yeah, my point was mainly that I could have gotten really creative with the mythology here as well and I ended up going for some commonly used gods because reasons. I just feel kind of guilty for falling back on something I've kind of been reciting from memory for the past 13 years or so instead of taking the time to really research some newer material.

"You'll eat what you get and like it. If you mess up mine, though, I'll make you cook it a hundred times over." The short boy's smirk didn't fade as he pulled out the mp3 player once more. "Start at the intro's end, and finish before this does, or you're making me Polenta Parmeggiana, fratello."

A click of the button, and a few seconds to get ready, and he was off the very beat before the vocals came in. The platforms were easy; just the right speed and a few carefully planned leaps and turns were all it took to get across. Adding style to the jumps, however, came as a natural necessity to him. Spinning off the panels or executing a jump with a little extra care to make it look good, he couldn't keep the look of confidence off his face. "You better keep up! You'll need more than speed!"

Accepted! Feel free to place them in the character tab.

How does everyone miss Discordia? I honestly thought that she was pretty famous...her name is used every day, even...

Bacchus is, indeed, the Roman name, but the god was originally Greek. The Romans adopted the Greek gods, and they did describe them a little differently to be honest, but it is essentially the same as Dionysus.

Was trying to avoid Greek gods, but those ones just happened to have powers that fit the character best.

Kido nodded and hurried to finish up, getting rid of the tray and returning to the other two as quickly as he could. "He's probably right, we should really get going. But I bet we'll get to do something fun now, though!" The short boy smiled cheerfully at Ivy, hands behind his back. "Do you want to walk together again?"

Pico gave a slightly pondering look as she rose from her seat to leave the classroom. He's really like some kind of puppy sometimes...I mean, he looks kind of serious and scary, but then...days like today... She didn't really hold an opinion on it, it was just something she still had to get used to, it seemed. It was odd how he seemed to be able to change like that, though. At least, that's what she thought he was doing. If there was a more straightforward connection to what it all meant, she decided that she would have to wait and figure it out.

In the meantime, he did have a point about getting on with the events. They couldn't start any sort of duel while they remained in the classroom, and they didn't want to be too slow about getting out there. They didn't need to be first and end up looking over-eager, but they couldn't seem reluctant, either. In the middle was safe. Not particularly impacting, but there wasn't a lot she really had the motivation to plan at the moment. No matter what, the two with the huge destinies would be taking the immediate spotlight, so she had to come from behind.

"So, pick someone, then. Once we get outside, anyone not paired up is fair game. I trust your judgement." Her shoes clicked against the floor as she exited with little more hesitation, resolved to keep the building anticipation hidden by the usual calm determination on her face.

"It's your job, isn't it? to be able to judge well?"
Let's see...I think I can wrap up the fish with my next post...is there anything else we should be waiting for?
