Sometimes you spend so long looking for peace in someone else, you loose sight of that peace you can give yourself. Don't forget that guys.

Damian hummed thoughtfully as he walked through the doors, nodding in thanks to Ria without any conscious thought and heading for a table. "I'd have to do some scouting around to find a good spot, but I'm all for teaching someone how to fish." Carmilla trotted over to her spot by the bar to keep an eye on the door while Jaëger followed the swordsman to where he sat down, thinking. As Ria moved past him again, mentioning that the kitchen should be clean just in time for the next rush, the young man snapped his fingers.
"Steak! I'll make a steak dinner. Haven't done it in awhile, but I cooked frequently enough anyways." Standing, he follows Ria. "I'll help ya clean and cook for the next rush if I can get your help with making a steak dinner for the guild. Well, steak and some potatoes."
Art of the Gunslinger focuses less on fancy and overt shows of magic power and more on transforming that magic power to turn already lethal enchanted bullets into an inescapable force of deadly justice through various trickshots using magical and enchanted bullets and attacks. It achieves this through well trained magic control, physical shape and mental strength. As a result, many have claimed it combines other magics to gain the required effect, but it is simply the effect of training non-stop for years on end. A user of Art of the Gunslinger can perceive even a target using High Speed magic at higher levels than the average user can. This high perception allows them to use their trickshot attacks, such as the Blinding Binder, a trick shot that combines the Blinding Shot with the Binding Shot to capture a room full of mages while simultaneously blinding them so they can’t launch an accurate counter attack. Likewise, this high level perception allows them to use their magic attacks from their pistols while constantly moving themselves and accurately hit targets.
Charged Shot-Charges an unenchanted bullet with either ice or fire magic depending on if the round is fired from Feuer or Eis. Typically, if fired from Feuer, a large fireball is fired that explodes in a 10 meter radius on impact while charged shots from Eis tend to freeze multiple targets. Charge time is about five seconds.
Lancer- A beam of magic energy with a range of 20 meters. Not particularly powerful, but still has a punch to it if unprotected.
Enchanted Scattershot- Focusing some magic energy into the empty ammo clips in the two pistols, Arthas can fire a short range scatter shot attack to try and buy him space. If the shots come from Feur, you get set on fire. If from Eis, you get frozen and frostbite.
Most people think magical traps within clothing or even on rocks when they hear enchantment. This magic gives the bullets it’s inscribed upon varying effects, ranging from disabling a mage’s magic to freezing them in place, along with countless others. However, the enchantments must be inscribed into the bullets in order for them to work well.
Blinding Shot- A timed shot, the enchantment on the bullet detonates into a blinding flash at a certain range from the end of the barrel after firing. Radius is about the size of a small room, and the effect can be lessened or prevented by closing your eyes, taking cover or not looking at it in general.
Binding Shot- Perhaps the only truly non-lethal shot in a Mage Hunter’s arsenal, this bullet turns into a magic nullifying binding on impact, enabling targets to be brought in alive, though not necessarily unharmed.
Explosive Round- A simple enchantment powered bullet, explodes on impact, often destroying whatever it impacts with. Powerful mages can shrug off its effects for a short time, but eventually, they’re gonna lose a limb or two, best case.
Freeze Shot- Fires a bullet with a freezing enchantment that usually freezes the target on impact. Can be a full body freeze if the chest is impacted or a partial freeze, such as the legs or feet, if shot at the feet.
Feuer and Eis-Twin pistols used for close range engagements, chambered in .45 caliber for both stopping power and knockdown potential. Named Feuer and Eis due to each having been enchanted to give standard rounds burning and freezing effects respectively.
Hunter’s Edge-A knife used by all mage hunters, it’s blade is forged from a special metal that makes it hard for a mage to focus and use magic if cut by it. Used when Arthas needs to be within kissing distance of a target and needs to slow down their casting rate.

History: The name Drenmur was, for many years, relatively unknown. They all had their quirks and differences, but nothing about them stood out. That changed just over a hundred years ago, when Argon Drenmur, son of Drake and Amanda Drenmur, freed the Darkheart Blade from its resting place sealed inside a cave. Local Rune Knights were told by the lone survivor from his home village who had done it and the name Drenmur went down in history as a name belonging to an evil and vile person who’s only interests in life were personal entertainment at any cost and women.
Arthas’ direct ancestor was the sister to the father of Argon, who kept tabs on him and his family even though she lived miles away in Crocus, and in journals passed down through the family, noted with concern Argon’s darker tendencies. While she wrote that he should be getting help for them, her brother insisted on dealing with it at home. It had worked eventually, but in the end, nothing could stop fate from running it’s course. Skip forwards a few years, and magic’s reputation is in the mud, torn asunder by an attack by Zeref, with good mages on the run while those with less wholesome intentions ran rampant, despite the best efforts of the Royal Army and Magic Council to keep them in check. With their options running out, they turned to the populace for a solution. In an effort to repair the family reputation, destroyed by Argon and his actions, Arthas’s great-great-great grandfather stepped forward with the proposition for Mage Hunters, mages who would use their skills to bring in or put down those who’d chosen the path of darkness. The order used to stand over two hundred strong, bringing down dark mages across Joya and other countries, but not anymore.
Arthas is last of the order and his family, who had been hunted down by powerful dark mages with grudges, dark guilds looking to take out some of those who would police them and other such foes, though most fell to the man who had tarnished his family name to begin with, Argon Drenmur, and a Dark Mage who had seemingly made a pact with a demon after the order had wiped out his guild. Arthas is still haunted by the screams of his family as Argon caught up with them after thirty years of cat and mouse. His father and brother had put up a valiant fight, Arthas too young and wounded from an earlier attack to be of help, but they eventually fell, leaving his mother and younger sister at Argon’s mercy as she pushed Arthas down the coal slide. He was 12 at the time and already well versed in the order’s arts; though it did him little good when the demon possessed dark mage attacked him and his family just days earlier. Searching for revenge, he knew, was a waste of time. The last of his father’s teachings now rested in him and he would honor his father’s legacy.
Since then, he’s grown to be strong both physically and mentally, while his magic has become stronger the longer he’s practiced alongside it all. He’s also become a nightmare for dark mages and assassins everywhere, hunting them to the point of exhaustion before bringing them down. He’s crossed paths with Argon twice since his family was killed and both encounters ended in draws, both men incredibly wounded. For now, however, he continues his hunt while hoping to find a worthy successor to the Mage Hunter legacy.
Personality: Hard and seemingly cold, a lifetime, short as it is, spent hunting the dark mages of Joya and the surrounding countries has made him unconcerned with much anymore. If it hasn’t got to do with the Hunt or him personally, leave him out of it. It could also be argued that he suffers severe PTSD from the episodes of attacks from both Argon and the unnamed Dark Mage, though he has yet to show definitive signs.

Three Strengths: (Not just combat) Survivalist- Spending as much time on the hunt as he does, knowing one’s way around the wilderness is crucial. Burger Connoisseur- Knows a lot of things about burgers and can make the best Burger you’ll ever eat. Skilled Fighter- Be it with his rifle, his pistols, or his knife, it’s hard to find a flaw in his technique, since he’s been training since he was young.
Three Weaknesses: (Make them Applicable) Last of the Hunters- Mage Hunters were high value targets to Dark Mages and as a result, their order has dwindled to him alone, so he can call on no help. Marked- Being the last of the Mage Hunters, Dark Mages everywhere want him gone and will pay good money to see it happen. Distrustful of mages- While not all mages seek to do harm, those few who do have sullied his ability to trust Light Guilds and their mages.
Greatest Love: Duty
Motivation: The Safety of Non-mages
Appearance: Stands at an intimidating 6’5” with sweeping black hair and piercing blue eyes set in a face bearing a faint five o’clock shadow and medium high cheekbones to frame a handsome face. Only wears light armor underneath a brown leather duster with his pistols holstered on each thigh.
Damian chuckled as he sat down and ordered a slice of apple pie. "And you know that for me, price is not an issue. You're my goddaughter, Amelia, the least I can do is spoil you. And regardless, it was Penny's idea, so talk to her about price." Thanking the person for the slice of pie, Damian takes a bite before continuing. "Anyways, how's things been? Been about a month since we last talked, so I'm a touch behind."
Jane shrugged and let Karn explain their unique situation before speaking up herself and answering the ones that she could. "Well, to be fair, the guild's reputation is always on a knife's edge for the most part. We got the white knights like James and Damian that keep us from sinking under completely, then those of us like myself who are known to get the job done under any circumstance, albeit with some...small, extra damage to the surroundings." This drew a small chuckle from the energy blade mage and then she addressed the drinking. However, as she was about to continue, the young shapeshifting mage had a water induced panic attack and quickly excused themselves from the area, drawing little more than a shake of the head from Jane. I'll have to thank him for the compliment later then.
"Well, that's unfortunate, but probably the best way to handle that. Anyways, I think Mark might have something to say about that. He may not be much for words, but that man is a steady drinker and I'm about ninety-five percent sure he's drunk nearly double his body weight since he joined up. Fair warning, before you rush over there, he's not a big fan of unexpected conversation. In any case, we've got a few people looking into ways to separate two people into one," She takes a cup of juice from a passing guild member who was acting as a server for the day and takes a sip, "so I'm sure someone would help ya if you talked to 'em."
Herb gathering, huh? Seems like a simple enough task barring the unforeseen." Joshua, however, was quick to shift to answer Amaya's question and so he turned to his pupil, who had once more lost himself in the combat drills and neglected the Light of the Protector. Not that the Paladin blamed him, being new to the magic and all that. James had grown up learning to wield and cast his magic, even before it had progressed to the Light of the Avenger. Keeping on top of all of it was in his nature, between his magic training and his being raised to become a knight of the realm. "There's nothing to worry about, Cody. We can go over them later. For now, why don't you take a break and enjoy the company of your friends and guild mates."
Jake chuckled as he took a drink of the water that was brought over to him. "Ah, too late for that. Lets say we head out to Hargeon here in the next couple of hours, have some fresh caught fish?" Jake knew she wasn't necessarily a fan him spending a lot of money on her, he enjoyed doing so, since it was really just sitting in his account before. Not to mention that Hunter had this job under control, so there was nothing for him to worry about.
Jack rubbed his chin thoughtfully as he accepted the tea that Jamie offered, taking a moment to pull out a vial of green flame and add some to the tea, the flame dancing upon the top of the liquid without issue. "The primary issue, as it were, is that most of our requests are of the monster hunting variety. We've built something of a reputation as a specialist guild in the field and so we're highly popular for it. Suppose having a Dragon Slayer as an S-Class does somewhat build a confidence towards us in that regard. Though...Hold on." Pulling his phone back out and taking a sip of the flame topped tea, Jack taps a couple of different things and then some documents print from Jamie's printer. It had been a gift from him to her and it had made many of their more urgent conversations easier to exchange information with.
Standing and retrieving the documents, Jack hands them to Priscilla before retaking his seat. "I've already informed the clients that I've forwarded these jobs to you and Wolven Pyre and to expect to hear from either you or your members upon job completion. I hope that's sufficient for the time being. And these may not pay well, but should your members do well, these are the kinds of clients who get your guild's name out there." Jack had handed the Guildmaster of Wolven Pyre three jobs, all paying about 500,000 jewel total, that seemed easy enough. One was a delivery job for some wine from a well known winery, the Betalo Winery, to various locations and paid the best at 200,000 jewel, plus one bottle to the person who makes the deliveries. The second job was only paying 150,000 jewel, but was helping for ten hours a day for three days at a lumber mill run by Despardo Inc. Some of their workers had fallen ill and they figured magical help could help make up for it.
The last job was also 150,000 jewel, but was the most intriguing. They needed someone to retrieve some historical magic items and bring them to the Museum of History in Crocus. It also included a reward in the form of a magic sword from amongst the items retrieved. As Jack had said, all three were well known for recommending guilds who do well to other potential clients, and with these three jobs, it was clear the Dragon Fang guildmaster had essentially handed Priscilla the keys to the kingdom in a way.
"As for a communal job board, we'd have to accept some of that new digital age tech to make it work. Simply put, it would take too long to get everything to all of our guilds traditionally. And I would still prefer to keep the Monster Hunting with us, at least until we can corner and get a look at one of these new monsters."
Hunter just sighs as Ash comes in and immediately sets to trying to rile up the other members of the guild. While he was always ready and willing to brawl with all comers, he didn't feel an incessant need to belittle anyone else just to burn the losers. "Right, that makes two, I need either one more A-Class or I'm taking our two support mages. Can never have too much support, even if we aren't expecting trouble. So hurry up and speak your peace, otherwise hold it."
The sudden barrage of SAW fire was more than a bit annoying for the SPARTAN IV as he was forced into cover once more, though at least this was more the kind of suppressive fire that kept him from getting a clear shot. Since he was on the high ground, the shots had less chance of hitting his shielding, but he couldn't get a clear line of fire. So, swapping the SMG for his DMR, he braced and waited. Eventually, he could hear the sound of the Mgalekgolo's cannon charging and he knew he'd have his chance soon.
However, as he went to relay an idea he had to Grikgar, the cannon fired and the Unggoy opened fire with his pistol. "Well, I can work with that too." Popping up with his DMR already tucked snuggly into his shoulder, Lucas opens fire, first putting a bullet through the head of the SAW gunner before shifting to pick off another designated rifleman thinking he was sneaky from the doorway. {Heads up, Squad Leader, they're taking cover in the hallway beyond...well, it looks like another hallway at least. I know they're using the door way.} A couple of AR rounds ping off the SPARTAN-IV's shielding and he ducks briefly before popping back up and returning fire, missing the intended head shot and instead putting the bullet through the insurgent's shoulder.
Damian nodded as he followed, his right hand absentmindedly stroking Carmilla's back. "Ya know, Crocus is a beautiful city, but I'd still almost rather be back on the border, in the wilds. You ever see a night sky without the light pollution before Ria?" Something important to keep in mind about the young mage is that if he wasn't thinking about a tactical approach to walking down the street, he was simply enjoying the sights to be seen around him. This was likely to catch someone's interest some day, but that certainly wasn't his concern.
"And there's so many more birds out there, and better fishing holes. Not to say the streams around Crocus aren't nice, but there's...there's not much variety to the fish. I'll have to take you and some o' the guild out there, maybe the border o' Bosco. That's some nice fishing."
Jack shook his head as he took his customary seat whenever he spoke with Jamie in her office and sat back, voicing his agreement with Jamie. "Indeed I don't believe any of the other masters will be showing. While we are all reliant on each other as much as the townsfolk that supply us jobs and payment for them, most of the other guilds are content to keep to themselves if they can. So it falls to us to share information and pass along what those who don't come hear." The Fire God Slayer then turned to Jamie, knowing that Jarvis would be by with tea for him soon enough.
"To answer the inevitable question, I was on the phone with Grane. In the desert regions, a convoy came under attack from a monster that had never been seen before. A contingent of Rune Knights, along with two of their prototype magitech armors, were sent to investigate and remove the threat to the trade routes. The Knights have not reported in, so a specialized request was sent to us."
Ammy Silver|An Emergency Request
Dragon Fang's guild hall was always loud and always busy, but when Ammy spoke, everyone fell silent as she approached the job board. "This is an emergency request from the Magic Management Council, and Master Jack has made it an S-Class job with permission for A-Class to accompany and support granted. Whoever is to go is to leave immediately and report back upon arrival and upon discovery of the condition of the missing contingent of Rune Knights and missing suits of Magitech armor." She then returned to her usual place at the bar and without hesitation, one of the other S-Class took the job.
Hunter Jorgenson|Call of the Wild
The Jade Dragon Slayer, without any kind of hesitation, approached the job board and pulled off the emergency request, reading it over. "Emergency Request: Mysterious Black Beast and Missing Knights...Alright, yeah, I'll handle this." He turned to his guildmates, all of whom were still silent and smiled his customary mischievous smile. "So, who wants to go save the Council's flunkies with me?"
As the band dispersed and went back to their daily lives for the time being, Damian offered an overly flourishing bow before heading off stage and over to his charge, miss Amelia Averyonna. Over the last couple of years, she and him had spent extensive time together even as he trained in Iaijutsu and Kenjutsu and she had enjoyed listening to the band's jam sessions and recordings when that was where he was to be found while Penny took care of her things. Checking that Andor was still secure in its sheathe after the performance, he joined her at her table, nodding and greeting a couple of other guild members. "You look like we might have woken you up. While I would normally apologize, you do realize how late it is, right?" Damian grinned and then produced a box of chocolates from the pack that he'd left sitting nearby and sliding it to her.
"Penny and I had to make a quick stop on the Isvanian border before heading back home, so I grabbed you a box of their famous chocolates. Hope you like 'em."
As always, Jane had greatly enjoyed being on stage, shredding on guitar and the energy of the guild hall. When Damian had suggested they surprise the guild with the band's performance, she'd been iffy, but agreed. After having done so, she was glad she'd gone with the idea instead of against, as many in the guild were still talking excitedly. However, Jane had not missed the young mage known as Percival Grungust turn from a man into a woman named Elena Rainor. Moving quickly, the energy blade mage met her and appraised her. "You know, I had always thought something seemed off, since there were rumors about a Phoenix Wing mage partying at night, but to see you actually exist...Well, I think we need to have a talk with Master Jamie or Jarvis, whom are indisposed with a guild masters meeting."
How the paladin had gotten roped in to playing bass for a band comprised of mages, he still wasn't sure, but Damian HAD made quite the convincing pitch to do so, and he already liked playing the instrument. Not to mention he and Damian swapped off being the singers, along with Jane. Once they had finished the one set that they'd all agreed to do, James had left the stage and originally intended to head back to his table to keep reading over his ancestor's journal, but the sight of Cody coming in earlier had him wanting to check in on the young man.
However, by the time James reached his pupil's side, Joshua had also walked in and seemed to be interrupting something between Cody and Amaya, which lead to a sudden tension as the paladin spoke, though why it happened was unclear. "Cody, Amaya, Joshua, good to see you all. Cody, how did your morning exercise go? Did you work on your incantations for your Light of the Protector? And Miss Amaya, how did your training camp go?" He waited a moment as he appraised the overworked muscles spasming lightly that he could see with Cody's attire before turning to Joshua. "And your job, Joshua? I trust you didn't overextend yourself any."
Between Pyrhha's encouragement and the fact that Hunter wasn't all in on the fight for once, Jake came out on top, knocking the Dragon Slayer into the edge of the ring for a ring-out victory before he went to join his girlfriend. As he approached, he stretched his arms to their fullest and then let them fall to his side, sliding into the seat next to Pyrhha. "I might have won, but we're still going somewhere expensive, I can swing it. What are you feelin' tonight? Steak, fish, shawarma?"
Dragon Chi Enhancement is a familial Caster type magic unique to the Kurohiko family. The magic allows the user to enhance their body beyond the level of normal enhancement, but focuses entirely on enhancing speed, agility, and reflex by tattooing an eastern dragon the length of the user's body. It also temporarily boosts the user's mental acuity, allowing them to calculate certain things faster than a normal person.
Another form of the magic gives Dragon Style martial arts boosted strength, making recieving a blow from any member of the Kurohiko family incredibly dangerous no matter the point of impact. Two years of practice has extended the time he can maintain the initial enhancement and learned new moves when meeting with his family at the border every few months.
Equipment: Mako is armed with a pair of throwing glaives, which he combines with a longer than normal mental boost with the Dragon Chi Enhancement that allows him to make throws, time bounces and catch returns, among other feats, that he shouldn't be able to, even with the normal level of mental acuity boost. They also double as melee weapons when he needs one.
Magic Level: Recorded at S, remains known as A
History: The Kurohiko family hails from the land of Isvan, a country to the east of the Kingdom of Fiore. They are well known as wielders of the Dragon Chi Enhancement magic and practitioners of the Dragon Style of martial arts, and are often employed as bodyguards and assassins due to their skill sets. Members of the family are trained from a young age in Dragon Style and a variety of weapons until the age of 8, when they are given an aptitude test for general categories of weapons. A specialty weapon is found later in their training and is mastered by the time they finish anywhere from the age of 16 to 21.
Mako participated in this way of life, grew up fully aware of what was expected of him and excelled in every aspect of his training. He showed unusually high compatibility with the Dragon Chi Enhancement at a young age, a magic aura enveloping him when he was particularly upset about something at the age of one and a half. When he turned five, like all the children in his family, he started training to become a proper member of the clan. Nothing out of the ordinary, aside from having stronger enhancements than his siblings and cousins, happened until he first got his hand on a throwing glaive at the age of 10. As instructed, he activated his Enhancement before throwing it, however, he was already in place to catch it before it began it's return, using his training in Dragon Style martial arts to deal with opponents along the way.
His catch upon its return was flawless and while he was still spinning in the air, he'd already sent it to it's next target, bouncing it off the walls through the dummy's chest, once more catching it perfectly. He was tested on several other weapons but his specialty was found in throwing glaives. He continued his training in glaives and Dragon style until he finished his training at the age of 16. His first mission was to escort a dignitary from Isvan to Crocus City, but he failed, their small caravan falling under attack from a rather organized group of bandits.
The encounter left Mako shamed and unable to return home until he tracked down the man who killed his charge, a rather large bandit with a sword for a hand and an eye patch over his right eye. The trip from Isvan to the point of the ambush had Mako turn 17 and he has been searching for the man for the last four years. His arrival in Crocus had to do with many of the masters of the more well known Light Guilds being in one place, saving him time finding out what they might know about the man.
His search in Crocus was most fruitful, leading from the Phoenix Wing Guild Master to a captain of the Rune Knights and Council Member who had captured the man a couple of years prior and had since made him a Rune Knight for penance. However, Mako’s code of honor required they fight and the man, who’s name was Boris, was more than eager to. While their previous encounter had ended in the scarred man’s victory, Mako had shattered three of his ribs and reduced the cartilage in his nose nearly to dust and he’d taken it personally, so Mako asking for a rematch was exciting for him.
The fight happened quickly and despite the two trading blows, it was clear early on that the Isvanian native was the better fighter. After defeating the man and reclaiming his Honor, Mako set out for home, eager to see his family once more. But at the border, something stopped him, a sense that he still had unfinished business and so, after asking his parents to meet him at the border and discussing a plan for the future, the young man resumed his sojourn across Fiore, now looking to help others and right wrongs committed upon them. After two years of it, upon hearing that Dragon Fang had gained a practitioner of The Path of De Shen as a member and, despite his better judgement saying otherwise, he was curious to test his mettle against this other man’s.
Personality: Mako is calm and collected, and wise beyond his years...until you bring up his height. He is abnormally short for his family and this is a very potent peeve of his. The least dangerous thing he’s ever done when it’s brought up is a tongue lashing and the worst saw a man in the hospital with shattered bones.

Greatest Love: Martial Arts and Honor
Motivation: Redeeming himself and eventually becoming the greatest member of his family ever.
Appearance: Stands at 5'4" tall, with teal eyes and a lithe build, with well toned muscles from his martial arts training. His hair is jet black and cut close to his scalp, so incredibly short. He has an almost almond shaped face, but is incredibly handsome all the same, with a few scars across his body from his training.
Additional Details: Will not be joining a guild, but if he finds someone interesting enough, he might just tag along with them for a while.
Damian couldn't help but grin at the energy in the room and, as he watched the guild start to talk amongst themselves about the resurrection of the old festival, the ever faint sound of a guitar started to build in the back ground, drawing the attention of several members who knew the song, though it was drawn out for his part. "So while I've been training avidly over the course of the last two years as well as doing jobs, many of you are also familiar with a masked band that's come into heavy popularity over the last year and a half." He chuckled into the mic as the curtains behind him opened up revealing the members of the rising band Wild Ones, except without their masks. On guitar was none other than the guild's Jane Addeson with James Avelane, who'd disappeared form his table earlier, on bass. Guitar was handled by another well-known mage and nearby was a pianist who was simply enjoying the build up. However, their singer was apparently no where to be seen.
Until Damian stepped back and started in on the song lyrics.
Thunder, thunder, thunder, thunder I was caught In the middle of a railroad track I looked round And I knew there was no turning back My mind raced And I thought what could I do And I knew There was no help, no help from you Sound of the drums Beating in my heart The thunder of guns Tore me apart You've been Thunderstruck
Rode down the highway Broke the limit, we hit the town Went through to Texas, yeah Texas, and we had some fun We met some girls Some dancers who gave a good time Broke all the rules Played all the fools Yeah yeah they, they, they blew our minds And I was shaking at the knees Could I come again please Yeah them ladies were too kind You've been Thunderstruck
I was shaking at the knees Could I come again please
Thunderstruck, Thunderstruck, Thunderstruck, Thunderstruck It's alright, we're doin' fine It's alright, we're doin' fine, fine, fine Thunderstruck, yeah, yeah, yeah Thunderstruck, Thunderstruck Thunderstruck, baby, baby Thunderstruck, you've been Thunderstruck Thunderstruck, Thunderstruck You've been Thunderstruck
The reveal was clearly unexpected but welcome and the guild only got more energized by the sudden appearance of the well known band. Damian smiled wildly as it came to a close. "We're slotted to do a couple of performances for the festival, but right now, we're taking requests. Felt it only fair to come home and introduce you all to the band proper." His mood almost fell when he spotted a certain Exceed coming into the guild hall during the song, but he managed to avoid it and, when the winged menace came flying his way to try and steal the mic from him and likely praise herself again, he caught her in his free hand and punted her back out the front door over everyone's heads.
Jack had been on the phone with Grane, the Magic Council’s lizardman member, since he’d boarded the train from Shirotsume to Magnolia and as he entered the Phoenix Wing Guild Hall, he was still on the phone with Grane as he headed for the stairs and hallway that would lead to Jamie’s office. ”I’ve already given Ammy the go-ahead to post the job under S-Class with A-Class support Grane, but there’s not anything else we can do until we’ve had a chance to investigate the area, see if it’s even still there.” He stopped speaking as the voice on the other line began and seemed to listen intently as he walked into Jamies office after knocking three times before he sighed.
”You’re telling me that you sent two suits of the new prototype magitech armor and you still have reason to believe they were wiped out? Hmmm….” Jack tapped his chin before sighing. ”I’ll pass that along. We’ll talk when the job has been completed.” Hanging up, Jack sighed and smiled apologetically. ”Sorry for that, ladies. The Council sent us a special request I had to ensure got handled quickly. Good to see you again, Jamie. Priscilla, Guild Master of Wolven Pyre I take it?”
