Willow's house

Smile, Annie greeted her friend by returning the hug. Plus, she was eager to be back somewhere safe. Annie had kind of been shocked into silence as Willow calmly explained her predicament. She just stared a little dumbly at her friend, not even answering the question about ice tea. I, Annabelle thought, am terrible under pressure. Annie knew she needed to calm down. Being lead by the hand upstairs Annie quietly accepted the letter and opened it. It was exactly the same as the one that she recieved. Her hands were shaking. This wasn't right. This was impossible. Willow was suffering and needed her best friend but Annie felt like she wasn't strong enough. Willow was adopted, too? Why hadn't her parents told her?

Annie set the letter down on the desk and took a few deep breathes. "O-okay, Willow. You've been through a lot. Y-your parents didn't tell you that you- were adopted. Obviously that's something I never had to figure out," Annie laughed out a breathy excuse of a laugh, "So I don't know exactly how you're feeling. But this letter- a-and wizards, it's all fake, it's all...s-some kind of scam. Let's just...stay focused on what matters. Your family. Let's talk about that." She said. Annie took her friend by the hand and lead her to the bed so they could sit on it together.

"I'm here for you." Annabelle concluded, putting on a brave face. She wasn't going to let her friend Willow fall into some kind of scam or trap that baited people with their insecurities.
i'll be getting a post up shortly
This looks very cool, I am interested
well, sorry. i just knew everyone who was here would be interested in that kind of thing.
took me a while to get that metaphor.
hope this is okay, i don't mean to be shilly but there's another game RP i'm in that's looking for players. IMO these types of RP's don't get nearly enough of the traction they deserve so i'd like to do a little something to help nurture the community of these types of PvP games.

uh, here it is: roleplayerguild.com/topics/181870-und…

i'm just doing this on my own. i don't want to siphon away players from this but if you'd like to do two at once, like me, then here is another one
in my experience these games don't tend to get the amount of players they need, i don't know why. maybe people don't like losing? i tend to join every game RP i can, though, whenever they crop up.

Camp, outside the building

Dareen blinked awake as she heard a thunderous impact. Sitting silently up, she sighed softly. Something was going on. Glancing around she deduced that no one was around, and the sounds of distant conversation could be heard. On the other hand, no one had come to get her yet. So it probably wasn't a big deal, and she didn't even know if they wanted her out there. There was a distance between her and most of the others from what she gathered. They talked and walked differently than she did, though obviously they were a ragtag bunch she felt that most of them came from power. Born into respectable families and the like. Even though all of them have undoubtedly suffered a great deal of loss since this all began. No one was here. She could just get up and slip off into the night. Hardly anyone would be the wiser. She doubted any of Dorothea's people would come searching for her, she was small fish compared to everyone else. Maybe she would, but that wasn't really the point. The fact of the matter is, staying with these people is basically suicide. So why doesn't she leave? They aren't even holding her here. Hell, she doesn't even like all of them, and most of them don't seem to care much for her. Not enough that they would be sad if she left.

It's cause, Dareen thought, she was done looking out only for herself. She had lived a life of blood, and coin, and the bond with her brothers was tighter than one could imagine but it was built on a pile of innocent bodies. She had earned their respect through her sword arm and tenacity alone. Without that, she meant nothing to them. If they saw her again, her commander would have her head put on a spike. That's not family. But then again, what would Dareen know about family? She hurt her own feelings with that comment and exhaled a quiet, breathy excuse for a laugh.

"Whatever," she whispered, and rose to dress herself. With practiced experience she covered herself in a fresh outfit of similar look to all her previous outfits and opened the front door to the abandoned building and glanced outside. It was an interesting sight. It looked like two stragglers had visited their camp in the night, perhaps to steal.

But Mikhail was already telling Xandar that everything had been taken care of. Faeril wasn't out there. The sun was rising, well beginning to rise, which meant they were going to leave soon, so Dareen needed to get up anyway. Might as well get some fresh air. Dareen stuck one hand into the left pocket of her trousers and slowly made her way closer to the conversation, in no evident rush. She trailed about fifteen feet back, choosing not to intrude, but close enough to get a good look at those two that had. A boy and his dog. A universal pairing.

Should I move them over to the CS tab? there isn't a zeroth post, feels weird
