Gonna be pretty busy the entire weekend, but I'll try and get a sheet up before Sunday's over.
The third eye finally closed, albeit with some reluctance, and Ihosha glanced at the clumsy one. She had her own experience in the Nightmare Realm? Apparently enjoyed it as well… More reason to be careful of that one. Using their staff as a walking stick, Ihosha started to pace around as the others arrived in an effort to return some feeling of warmth to its body. Bracing against the staff as the chamber rumbled ominously, it turned to look down at into the murky water, wondering what laid within its murky depths. The third eye flicked open at that hint of curiosity Ihosha felt, but even its newfound “blessing” couldn’t pierce the clouded waters.

Tuning clumsy girl out except for the barest of attentions, Ihosha wandered over to the closest passage to take a look. Turned out that it couldn’t actually see very far into the unilluminated Eastern passage though, the sight granted limited in range. Still, it was enough to verify that combat within the passage would be difficult, if not almost impossible with the over-sized weapons those chasing “wholeness” had been given. Giving an experimental swing of its staff horizontally, Ihosha frowned at just how little room there was for a mistake. Getting caught by the wall would be an easy, and possibly fatal, mistake to make.

Nevertheless, there was an interesting point to draw. At the very edge of their limited dark vision, there were vague silhouettes of objects as the hallway opened up. Things that hung from the walls, along with bulky shapes that suggested furniture and decoration. It appeared to the pathway opened far quicker into another chamber than the others.

There seemed to be a waning gust this way too. Did this path perhaps lead to some opening to the outside somewhere?

Ignoring that though, it didn't think that the Eastern passage was very viable. It didn't seem like many of the others had been touched by the Nightmare Realm, so they'd need a light source before heading east or west. Well, ideally they'd explore all the areas sooner or later, so it wandered over to take a look down the Southern passage for now.

Peering into the lights in this entry, though faint as they were, seemed piercing for the hooded woman like they were being shone directly into her eyes. But with a moment of recovery, they were able to look again, though still quite discomforted. It seemed their 'gift' of superior dark vision did not come with its own detriments. How much this illumination sensitivity would affect their ability going forth is yet to be discerned.

This way seemed similar to the northern passage, narrow and unassuming. However, as they looked longer, it became apparant that the light did not come from the end, instead, bleeding up from an opening in the floor. Again, the same herbal, almost pyric scent bellowed fleetingly from this direction. It was clear now that the lights had a direct correlation with the smell itself, but what that meant exactly remained a mystery.

Ihosha pulled their hood down as low as they could with a wince and hoped they'd merely be dazzled rather than blind in brighter lighting. Being stuck in the darkness and shadows was not the most appealing of fates. For now it took a deep breath and noted the scent that the clumsy one had mentioned, though it seemed there would be a climb to reach the light source. Telling the exact height was a bit difficult, but Ihosha figured they would need to give one another a lift to reach the opening in the ceiling.

Turning back to the others, Ihosha coughed to clear her throat before gesturing with its staff at the Southern passage. "Scent's also here, but it's coming from an opening above. There's a breeze coming from the eastern way, but unless more of you can see in the dark..." Trailing off, it rubbed at the third eye for a moment before taking another deep breath of the scent. It seemed like the result of something being burnt, but then what or who was doing the burning? Ideally, it wouldn't be the one sticking its head up to find that out.
“A pleasure,” Septim returned to the both the fox spirit and strange humanoid that introduced themselves. While splitting up could have been a poor idea, adventuring onwards without knowing the names or capabilities of others in the group was admittedly even worse. Rolling his head, he looked towards the spider-breed and shrugged as if it couldn’t be helped before he followed along with the rest of the group.

Falling in behind the others out of habit, Septim ran a finger along the walls before he descended down the stairs. So many questions, and all he could do was go further and hope that there might be answers within. How… annoying. Manifesting his weapons again as the wall rose to reveal the next area within, he wasn’t terribly surprised to see the vast field of grass ahead. He’d seen Marks house strange environments before and this one at least seemed to be relatively safe, unlike that one time they’d been dropped into a magma chamber with floating and sinking platforms…

Shaking his head as he stepped in with the others, he paid more attention to surveying his surroundings than the fact that they were now sealed inside the room. That was pretty standard procedure after all. Eyeing the device that seemed to be projecting the Mark Master’s voice, Septim spared a glance at Mable and couldn’t help but chuckle at the exchange between the two. Well, it seemed the Master had a bit of character this time around at the least. Even if they seemed a bit petty, it was still better than the mechanical indifferent cruelty he had the displeasure of running under.

“Ah, that seems much more like it,” Septim muttered with a grin as the monsters filled out into the room opposite of them. Drumming his fingers as he waited for the signal to begin, he looked at Mable and shrugged. “Shame, huh? Maybe next time.”

Septim really wished he knew what the others could do again as the device sounded a horn and the monsters began to charge. Well, two of them seemed to have attracted the attention of one creature each, so that only left four to deal with. He whistled in appreciation as the spider-breed easily leapt over the charging creatures and swiped the ball as she landed. Placing it in the basket by hand should be trivial with her jumping ability.

“Go!” Septim yelled to be heard as he took aim and fired a shot past the monsters to strike just above the hoop on the opposite side of the field for emphasis. Relying on her to listen, he turned his attention to the armadillos and swept both firearms across their numbers as he fired at all four of their faces in a single motion. It wasn’t meant to be anything more than a distraction to refocus their attention on him, and he twirled his manifestations stylishly before moving one of them towards himself in the universal, “Come at me,” gesture.

“Let’s keep them off her, alright?” Septim directed towards the other armored figure in the group before adding, “Also, nice weapon~ Let me take a look after?” Nodding at the strange firearm he held in his hand, Septim’s attention turned just as quickly towards Kaede. “If you could hide the spider-breed from the monsters’ sights, Kaede?” With all that said, he twirled the handguns once again before darting forward and peppering the Linebacker’s faces with rapid shots.

Name/Alias: Udrac the Undying Rage
Appearance: A bear of a man, Udrac is quite hard to miss. 6’5 and over 300lb, his body sports numerous scars from a long tenure down in Hell. Whether his hair went white from age or through stress, he keeps to himself, but his blue eyes are still bright and lively.

Biography: An old Demon Hunter who’s forgotten much about his life on Earth. Time passes strangely in Hell, and things became somewhat of a blur under the attention of his tormentors. Not the smartest of monsters, but cruel and far too enjoying of the torment they could inflict to simply kill Udrac off. Yet, his spirit and mind remained unbroken as he waited for his captors to grow lax. And they did, but it still wasn’t time. He was certain the Hell Gates would reopen at some point, believing the Demons to be too power-hungry and cruel to simply remain in Hell when Earth was ripe for invasion.

And the Gates did open. And his tormentors’ numbers decreased as they left to partake in the latest invasion. And he did grin savagely as he tore free of his restraints and turned what was left of his captors to pulp. Fleeing in the midst of a burgeoning invasion and the ensuing chaos of Dante’s own counter invasion, Udrac has managed to return to the Human World after who knows how long. While there’s much he wants to see and learn about, first he needs to find each of the Demons that gave him a scar back in hell and punch their face in.

He could do with a slice of New York style cheese pizza though. It’s been too damn long since he’s eaten anything.

Devil Arms Melee Weapon: I Cast Fist! – Without the need for weapons, Udrac’s fist are tough enough that he can pummel demons to death unarmed.

Firearms Ranged Attack: I Cast Fist! V2 – He’s not quite sure how this came about, but by focusing for a moment, Udrac can punch hard enough that he releases a shockwave that explodes on contact. An air cannon! Except way messier when it hits fleshbags.

Skills/Abilities:
HUGE GUTS TIME – Slaying demons makes it easier for Udrac to call upon this ability, but with a bit of time and focus he can also open the battle with the technique. Generating a blazing red orb and then absorbing it, Udrac enters a Berserker state where he’s surrounded by an ominous red aura and his eyes shift to red in coloration. He becomes stronger, faster, harder to kill, and significantly more reckless as he charges at anything deemed to be an enemy. His loss of technique seems to be minimal despite the brutal nature of his kills while in this state.

FUCKING INVINCIBLE – Even outside of his Berserker state, Udrac seems to naturally recover from wounds far faster than a regular human would. This regenerative factor seems to be amplified in areas with high Demon presences, and is noticeable boosted whenever he slays a Demon. The stronger they are, the more he recovers.

Other: He’s forgotten his last name, if anyone could find something out about it that would be appreciated. HUGE GUTS TIME theme goes here.
Let me slip in please.

Standing with weapons in hand, Septim surveyed his surroundings slowly. Thick blue fog surrounded him, but he could tell it was definitely heavier directly in front of him. A truly titanic wall stood at his back, marking an end to that side of the field. Tapping a projection on his shoulder, Septim could see the hundreds of figures that milled about at the base. The occasional screaming and yelling could be heard as well, and it seemed like he was not alone in being unceremoniously brought here.

Thinking of the suddenness made Septim wonder how the others would cope with his disappearance. Well, they’d probably think nothing was wrong for the first few days. Trece would probably scour the area for any signs of his passing after that. His grip tightened slowly at the thought of them worrying about him, but movement in the sky snapped Septim out of his uncharacteristic brooding.

A bird-winged reptilian humanoid soared in the sky for a moment, enough for Septim to get a good look, before it dived towards the wall. Septim noted the panic and surprise its passing seemed to cause before the creature disappeared into… an entrance? It was a bit hard to tell at this distance, but there seemed to be a rectangular opening at the bottom where many had gathered around. Considering it for a moment, he eventually turned around and walked into the thicker fog before him. The soft glow his weapons emitted gave the dense fog an ethereal light, but it didn’t change the fact that Septim could barely see his own hands. Looking around carefully as he walked a straight path, he had to consciously step harder to leave an easy to track trail backwards for himself.

Slowing his pace as the fog began to thin out, Septim stopped completely at the unmistakable sight of the massive wall ahead. His eyes narrowed slightly behind the helmet as he glanced behind him, wondering how this had happened. He was confident that he’d been walking straight, but the fog made it hard to see more than the steps he’d immediately taken. Was this area a closed realm of its own that anyone who tried to leave back to the grassy plain? Impossible for him to tell at the moment, so it was time to go and meet the others he was stuck here with.

Whatever shenanigans that had turned Septim back towards the grassy plain had also wound up putting him by the base of the wall, cutting down the distance he had to walk. Thousands, he realized as he got closer to actually see individuals rather than just the throngs they looked like at a distance. There had to be that many people in this area, and many of them were races he did not recognize. Gripping his weapons just a bit tighter, he slowed as someone decided to approach him.

‘Lucky one, arent’ ya? Got pulled in during your duty?’

The voice resonating in Septim’s mind wasn’t a new sensation, but it did catch him by surprise. Telepathy was fairly rare in his world, and he was only friendly with one of the half a dozen individuals capable of the skill. The fact that what looked like a floating man-sized jellyfish used it to communicate was definitely strange, but a quick glance around revealed other beings just as odd in appearance.

“Yes,” Septim eventually muttered as he realized the being seemed to be waiting for a reply. “I guess you don’t know much about this place either?” Relaxing slightly as there seemed to be little immediate danger, he found the pulses of light the being generated as it used its telepathy rather interesting. It was also remarkably difficult to pinpoint whether it was male or female by the sound of its voice.

‘If you know jack, then yup, we’re both on the same page. Check your left hand though, if there’s a mark on ya, you’ll probably want to head for the entrance.’ It raised a tendril to gesture at the rectangular opening a short distance away where another group had gathered at.

Releasing his projections and allowing them to dissipate, Septim tugged his left glove off and blinked in surprise. There was a mark there, and it was one he instantly recognized. Putting his glove back on, he looked up at the floating jellyfish and nodded. “Thanks. Guess I know where to go now. I’m Septim.”

‘No problemo. This one’s called Lastir. Hopefully you find enough inside so we don’t wind up dying out here.’

Leaving the telepath for now, Septim made his way over towards the entrance into the wall. Some moved aside at the sight of his armor, others when he raised his gloved left hand. He noted the distinct separation of those marked and those without as he finally reached the front, glancing at the five and noting the pair of eyes that looked out from within the cave. So they were a group of seven for now then? Seemed like a nice number, though more arriving was certainly a possibility. Hard to be sure when he had no idea what the cause of being marked was, nor the percentage of non-marked to marked.

Well, best to start with introductions Septim supposed. Raising a hand in greeting as he stepped towards them, he looked between each of them and then towards the entrance that loomed behind them. “My name’s Septim, I suppose we’ll be working together?”
@Pleek Oof, wrong direction there. Might be interesting times with a demon lawyer from Hell though.
Over the top DMC action shenanigans? Sure, I'll drop in if that's fine.

Also making a wizard™ now just because.
Bweh. Can I get a spot in this once the current scenario's finito?
