Amelia let out a relieved sigh when the fighting finally stopped but she was still annoyed at the guild master's antics. Still, it was finally quieting down and several people where leaving, probably to go one some jobs and earn some money. Amelia mostly earned her money by helping out in the nearby town when she could find work. There were several reasons she had never taken a guild job: most of them seemed too tough for her with her condition, she wasn't part of a team and she doubted anyone would want her, and lastly her magic. She had never used it in the guild to date and she never really used it outside the guild unless she absolutely needed to, and even then she was hesitant. Still, she needed to start taking jobs sooner or later. Might as well start sooner.

Grabbing her sketchpad, she left the bar and walked over to the job board to see what was available. There was one that involved looking for a cat. She would take that one if none of the others seemed good. The only other job was the Jara Jam one. She could probably handle that one. It paid nicely and she was used to the wild. She had grown up there for several years. And if no one else was around or only guild mates were, she could use her magic freely. Reaching up she took the paper with the job and began examining it for more details, like what a Jara plant or it's leaves looked like.

Victor smirked, and laughed nervously at Chloe's comment. "Well you might not like it as much as you think," he replied, continuing with a less confident tone. He already knew that she was going to hate the mission no matter how much it paid, and getting into a fight with Chloe in front of the master probably wasn't the smartest idea. "We are basically going to be mowing some old man's lawn," he continued. "Now hear me out on this, and trust me I hate the idea of not going on a mission that doesn't involve pummeling a few bad guys as the next person, but there is something odd about this mission," he decided to hand her the quest as proof. "As you probably can see that it is quite absurd for a normal person to pay that much just to have his lawn mowed, and even if he is just a crazy old man with a lot of cash, it is easy money none the less." He then looked at Elliot, and got close to Chloe's ear, and whispered, "plus if we actually end up having to mow the lawn, we can just make Elliot do it, I mean what else is he good for other than dissolving things" in an attempt to reassure Chloe's decision.

Sasha smiled, ignoring Natsume's hand, and simply hugging her, "Of course I'll be your friend" She said brightly, pulling away. "Your warm" She said with a laugh I was just about to see about doing a job.. The two i want to do are already taken. So I was thinking the body guards one, or the Jara Jam" Sasha said, giving a shrug, "Do you want to join me?" She asked, somewhat shocked at herself that she asked. She brushed her hair back, out of her eyes, and smiled.

Sasha hugged Natsume, oh my it was suffocating and cold, the facial expressions of the girls were fun to watch, Natsume gets the washboard treatment in a sense. "Can't breathe, you're cold!." She said while being hugged. "Of course, I'll join you, it's expected anyway!." Natsume said blushing, "Jara Jam?." afterwards she made a funny expressions with her hands forming a fist, "Yeah, I'm happy to eat some sandwich jam later. Our job is an eating contest? Great!."

At first, Chloe was irritated. Mowing a lawn? What, was she twelve or something? Come on, she thought she had the last of that when she left the caravan...wait. Actually, she had never mowed a lawn before. It couldn't be that hard, right? If other people could do it, so could she. She was an earth mage after all, just a snap of her fingers and the grass would be gone. That was what mowing a lawn was right? Getting rid of all the grass on it? In any case, Chloe simply sighed in response.

"Yeah, yeah. I'll help. I could use the money anyways." She grumbled. She didn't really particularly care if the job smelled fishy or not either. Nor did she find it strange either. As far as she was concerned some old coot just had way to much time and money. If Victor was right though, she could handle herself.

Sasha laughed and shook her head, "I'm not that cold, you're just too hot!" She said, "Hey look at that, your blush matches your flames!" She grinned, falling into the easy banter. "AWe have to find the jara berries or whatever first" She said, "And then the cobbler!" She said, going over to take the job off the board, "Why is it expected?" She asked curiously, clutching the job in her hand as she returned. 6, 500 split two ways didn't go very far, but it was better than finding muffins, she thought, what would have been even better would have been the lawn mowing job, but that had been taken quick smart.

She suspected though for 20,000, that there was something more to it than just mowing the lawn.

Amelia looked around when she heard people talking about the Jara Jam. It turned out to be Sasha and Natsume, two of the mages involved in the fighting earlier. Still holding the paper with the job details, she walked over to the two.
"The job doesn't involve eating anything, Natsume-san" She said, holding the paper out towards them" You have to go looking for some jara leaves. The reward does involve some cobbler though, so you might end up with a free meal."

Looking at the two older mages, she seemed a bit nervous but after a few seconds she finally said what was on her mind
"Would... would you two mind if I joined you on this job?" she asked, not very confident at the prospect of the two saying yes.

In the between time of the guildmaster joining, the fight escalating and everyone being put under a spell, Eren was at the bar. His head was on the counter as he waited for the steak. His strength was depleted and his stomach was growling. It wasn't due to the illusion magic, but instead because he had skipped breakfast in the morning. Finally, Jarvis had brought him a plate filled with steaks. Eren stood up, his eyes glimmering as he began to devour the steaks. In no time, nothing was left but the plate but the remains. Eren stood up "Ahhh, that was good" He said, taking a look around at all of the damage. He let out a whistle "I'm glad I'm not a janitor" He said, spotting Avon near the entrance. Eren walked over him, raising his hand and waving "Yo Avon, any luck on finding a mission?" He saw Avon at the mission board earlier and hoped he got the hardest one.

Kazehaya opened his eyes from a very shallow yet relaxing slumber. He realized he had fallen asleep just before the fight had been stopped by Master. In his half-awaken state, he observed people going to the request board one after the other, nobody seemed to notice him though. THESE PEOPLE NEVER GET TIRED, taking jobs after fighting? he was thinking to himself.

He watched people take papers from the board. He heard people talking about mowing somebody's lawn, it was his first choice of a job. No one will pay that much just to make somebody mow his lawns unless there's something fishy going on there, that's what he's thinking. He watched Amelia took a paper and got lost reading it. He looked up the board and he knew what she had in her hands--the request with Jaras. He thought it was easy and would fit somebody like Amelia. Now that I come to think of it, I never seen this girl in combat. "I'm interested with the Jara cobbler myself."

Sasha smiled at Amelia, and said, "I'm happy for you to join us" She said enthusiastically, "It should be an easy enough Job. How hard can it be to find Jara leaves?" She said, looking to Natsume, then, figuring that Amelia might freak out if she hugged her, Sasha held out her hand, "Welcome aboard!" She said with a grin.

Inwardly, she was caclulating 6,500 divided by three, something close to 2, 200. She had made her rent already, and next months too, so she didn't really need to worry about money, yet she still did. An old habit she couldn't seem to break.

"It shouldn't take long to complete"

"Sounds fair enough." Astaroth agreed to Maho's plan. "If Maho's volunteering to be bait, Elize and I can shadow you and surprise this Ripper fellow should he bite." Now that he was outdoors, the illusionist instinctively pulled his hood up over his head. His cyan eyes almost appeared to be slightly luminescent under its shade. Astaroth pulled the request paper out of his cloak and held it in front of him. "If I remember correctly..." he began to speak, but trailed off. Astaroth studied the paper for a few more seconds, coming up with what he was going to say. "This actually gives us a fairly educated guess on what we're dealing with."

"For starters," he began, "we know he specifically targets women. That alone isn't much to go by, but it's something to keep in mind. However..." Astaroth held up the finger for emphasis and continued, "What's really interesting here is not who he is terrorizing, but when."

"Let me explain," the blue robed mage smacked the paper with the back of his hand for punctuation. "He always strikes during a time known as the witching hour. Now, if I have my facts straight, the witching hour is a period of time starting at midnight and ending at around three in the morning. Little-known fact: it's also the time where black magics are supposedly at their most powerful. With that in mind, I can hazard a guess that Jack the Ripper is either a supernatural monster, werewolf, vampire, etc., or that he uses some other dark magic."

Astaroth pocketed the paper again, his shpiel complete. "It's just a hypothesis based on one sheet of paper, however. We'll need to do some proper investigating, like Maho suggested, before we try and hunt this guy down." He started walking off again, until he suddenly added, "Oh! My name is Astaroth, by the way. Welcome to Phoenix Wing, Maho."

Victor laughed in excitement at the fact that Chloe decided to join in. Mowing the lawn would certainly be a boring task, and if it came down to it would prefer to not being doing it, at least not by himself. This was either going to be a thrilling fight, or a boring adventure that payed well, and he could only hope that it wasn't the latter. Then it occurred to him that if it was a trap the chances of being payed were not that high, but then decided that he could always loot the premises if it came down to it. "Well if no one has any objections, then we might as well head off immediately" Victor shouted with enthusiasm.

Elize nodded along as Maho repeated her role as the bait, and their need to investigate, and Astaroth explained their game plan. Just from looking at the paper, he'd given them a rough time frame. It was definitely a good start, and it kinda made sense. She'd heard of the witching hour, but she'd only thought of it as a wives' tale to keep their children in their beds at night. Though, if the past reports were true, then maybe they had some substance after all. Elize sincerely hoped it wasn't a werewolf or creature of the likes, since they tended to shred clothes. And people. But the clothes...

She had forgotten to address Maho's earlier question, as her sudden psychic chat had startled Elize rather thoroughly. Maho did seem a bit perturbed that they didn't really acknowledge her, until Astaroth remembered to introduce himself. "Yeah, welcome to the family! Like he said, I'm Elize. Sorry for not saying so earlier, you just kind of startled me back there." She laughed sheepishly, "In regards to what I do, I wield magic knives and make them...do things. See?" Elize lifted her palm, causing a knife to float from her right pouch. The small lacrima orb pulsed and glowed, as the knife spun around and went back into the pouch.

After getting her own introduction out of the way, Elize began to think of what they could do. Maybe it was best to look more into the witching hour itself? Or maybe historical records of similar cases? Either way, heading to a library or asking around might yield answers. With that last one, however, she doubted they'd get answers. "Do you two think it'd be a good idea to read up on the subject at the city library? I don't think interviewing people will get far, in our line of work." The raven haired girl proposed. Then again, maybe these two would rather go straight to the scenes of the crimes...the drawbacks of being a bookworm...

Minah stopped in her tracks when Jamie burst through the door, expecting some kind of harsh comment and a punishment but instead receiving a view of the currently male guildmaster in a women’s swimsuit and lectured them about how they should be fighting in swimsuits. Minah burst out laughing when she saw Jamie’s swimsuit, “Hahaha, you look so stupid in that Master!” Minah smacked the floor and rolled around on the ground unable to stop herself from laughing.

“Shut up! I didn’t raise you to sleep around and get into fights, go find something else to do!” Jamie shouted at Minah angrily as a young man approached him. [i]"Sir I would like to join your guild if you will have me."[/u] The young man remarked. The Master stared intensely into his eyes, “What’s your name boy?” The Master questioned and when the boy answered Jamie responded in a booming voice, “Well Angelo, will you put everyone in the guild first, accept everyone in the guild as you family, and hope?”

Quickly bouncing back up to her feet at Jamie’s remark Minah realized people were leaving or gathering into groups. Although she wanted to spend more time with Natsume and Sasha as she was eager for an opportunity of a continuation of the fight before, she had another matter to attend to: Revenge! She needed to get payback on Sidious for how he mocked her before. A dog? A DOG!?!? How dare he think she was as low as a dog, she was obviously a proud cat and she would get him back, not here but when he went out on a job. When he did she would follow him, and when he wasn’t expecting it she would strike. She tilted her head back and laughed maniacally, “Nyahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!”

Amelia gave a rare smile as she looked up at Sasha before giving the out stretched hand, her expression slightly confused. After a few seconds though she reached out a shook it. She didn't notice Kazehaya's approached and jumped when he made his presence known. Her right hand flew to her heart, which didn't take the adrenaline rush and increase in heart rate well. When it finally calmed down to the point she could talk, her tone was somewhat pained" Hello Kazehaya-san... do you wish to join us on the job?"

Sasha blinked, having not noticed Kazehaya. "wow, the jara's become popular" She said, smiling at him "It is an interesting job, I don't think I've ever seen a Jara plant before, nor have I ever tasted the jam" She said, wondering how many more people would join them on the hunt for leaves. Would there be a lot of them running around the forest trying to find them, destroy the leaves?

"I think we will need to stick together though, so we don't go destroying the plant" She said, giving an easy laugh, and a kind smile

It was wicked! Well okey not really wicked but magic! It was a sudden urge and Sudious felt heavy, tried and unable to continue any fight he might behave looked for! He knew that it was magic since he felt a small resistance as it broke his mind and altered it, damn perception mages! He did not know who it was but as soon as he would find out he would bury that person deep in the sands!
Maybe even striping him naked and give him a sand shower!

Sidious shook his head and decided to not further grieve in some mage's ego, than what else does it proof? Nothing more than someone does not like the guild as it is!
A sad thing but some just join a guild to get money and forget about the social part, such behaviour once formed the dark guilds and also the dark mages who does nothing more than breaking laws to earn money for living!

A living! Yep that was something Sidious also had to take care off and since it seemed that his usual group forgot about him he decided to chek on the quest board.....which was empty...only obe jobs remained proudly on it, like it withstood all odds and the moment Sidious skimmed through it he knew why!

He ripped of the kitten one and mumbled in disbelief. He couldn't believe it, people giving such jobs to a guild! It was hilarious! It was offensive! Either way Sidious needed money, desperately, since his last job was a simple trap! There was no artifact in the cave! Just a huge, mean monster! And depending on the few bones and robes he did not doubted that more than just him fell for it!
The worst thing was that the one offering the job was never to he seen again as soon Sidious entered the cave.
He had it!

While swearing quietly to himself he left the guild, going to get some kitten!

Angelo nodded at him "Nothing would make me happier sir, if you will allow me I will treat everyone as family. To be honest its hope that's even gotten me this far" Angelo said the last part more confidently since it was more true then anything else. Angelo only had hope through being a nobody and a stain on this earth. At least those were the words by his father before he left. He wanted to make a difference and to be known throughout the world to everyone as a legend and as a hero. If this guild would help him do so then he would gladly see everyone as a family member and as someone they can turn to and vice versa. "I humbly ask to be a part of your guild and to have a chance at having a real family" Angelo said simply looking at him with what might have been described as a stare of confidence in his chances.

Kazehaya was surprised by Amelia's reaction to his approach. "Whoa, easy! I know I'm like the wind, you feel me but I'm not noticeable but for you to be that jumpy... I might try to catch you off guard more often now. Just to have fun." he playfully commented Amelia. She offered him to join them in this job request. He was bored, free and extremely bored so he says "Why not."

"You haven't seen a jara plant before Sasha? You gotta be kidding. That jam was crazy! Or so they say." he wasn't even sure he had one himself but he just wanted to throw those words. "Well i'm in, I'm in. There's no better job anyway. I don't like muffins. But so we have that, where do we go now? How do we know what we're looking for if you haven't seen one before?"

Sasha giggled, "Its called a book, dear Kazehaya" She said, taking out a book from her bag, which she wore at her side. "I looked at the jobs last night, ,before heading hone, and didn't know which one I'd choose, but I've been collecting a large number of books" Sasha loved to read, and since joining the guild had tried to find anything she could find to read.

"Anyway, I found this in my place, a book of plants" She opened up the book to a marked page, revealing the Jara plant. She grinned happily, proud of herself and her preparation. She held the book out, showing the picture.

"That is how we find it" She said happily.

Natsume acts cool while the rest continued their daily doings, she still sticks to Sasha. However her attention span is not that big, she tries to think of what can she do and cannot do. "That's how we find it and oh.. Nice to see you here Kazeyaha. How exactly do we find it? I got all confused with your explanation whether or not the chicken or the egg comes first?." Natsume looking all confused, she's a former assassin not a biologist/Botanist.
