She stopped and let the calendar fall to the floor, frozen in fear. She could sense it coming and they weren't like Bael, no they were different, much more different. One of them in particular made her skin crawl and then it hit her, like she'd fallen from a two story build. She couldn't breath for a few seconds and as she caught her breath, the room began to spin. Her head was pounding, the affect of their auras already giving her fits. She'd never had a reaction like this from a demon, never. Something deep within her screamed of impending danger, something unknown to her, as if another person were screaming out at her.
LEAVE.
DON'T LOOK BACK.
JUST.
LEAVE!
She took a deep breath and steadied herself on the banister of her bed. She put one hand on her head and closed her eyes, trying to will the sick feeling to go away. It wouldn't. It was a nauseating, this nagging feeling in the back of her mind. The room was spinning... no she was spinning... no... She bent her knees and sat on the floor, trying to come to her senses. After a few minutes of telling herself it would be okay, she stood, weathering the pain.
I... have to find Bael and... Matt. Tell them about this...
With stumbling steps, she wandered the halls, trying to find the boys dorms to see if she could find one of them. She passed by a group of three in the hall way as they seemed to be entering someone's room. She glanced at them.
They wouldn't believe me... I need to find Bael and Matt... they'll.. believe me... right?
"...........Lucy." She replied, turning her head away from Kathy. She slunk back into Eric pockets, trying to hid her tears. Eric felt them though, he knew but didn't want to say anything. He knew how hard it was for her and it broken his heart every time he drew her. He didn't know whether to draw her frequently to help or just... stop. But he knew he could just stop... He didn't even try and he'd end up drawing her. Like... instinct.
He sighed and looked up at Kathy with a smile. "I'm glad. I was worried I'd be late. I didn't want to keep you all waiting." He said, his smile soft and warm. He could feel Lucy starting to fade. It took all he had to keep the smile on his face.
He turned to Crash as he went to open the door and replied to him, "It's fine. It's not a very interesting power anyway. I guess... all powers have their pros and cons." He feigned a smile the best her could, feeling Lucy's feeble body shaking with tears as she faded away. He didn't even noticed the girl come down the hallway.
