To be clear, I didn't respond because of my idea. And my idea was actually that it was all a non-issue -- Aweena messaged me last week saying she was coming back. I've waited, thinking she'd ride back in by now so all that wouldn't be for me to start positioning only to have the work all for not. Of course, it's been a little while yet again and waiting seems more detrimental. I hope she comes back.
I understand this, however the last thing I knew was that Aweena said she would tell you and that was
before she vanished. So not having a response, even a minor one, leaves me feeling like I’m walking on eggshells as a player. That in turn doesn’t help my motivation for the rp to be honest. Having a reply lets me know A) you got, B) if there’s any issues, then you have the info to point out where and C) lets me know you acknowledged it and it’s not a deep, dark secret which would pop out suddenly at you. I don’t like leaving a GM in the dark about a plot that could be conflicting make sense?
That’s why I suggested to her to have a Pm between the 3 of us, even if you weren’t going to have an issue with it or not as involved with the plotline. At least you would know what’s going on, had a reference to refer to and be able to ensure it still able to happen if Aweena vanishes. I rather not get my hopes up for something and discover you weren’t too keen on the plan in the first place. Had that happened which didn’t end pretty in another rp.

Be conscious as intentional as you can with the collab. I understand the desire to get people as close as possible, to develop relationships, but I fear forcing it may be unnatural while also slowing down our already snail-like pace. We don't have a big group and those we have are a bit spread. It means a collab that takes 1 week + denies us of two people who might otherwise post, putting those who already did in a sort of awkward position. Obviously, y'all are also partnered with someone who's half-in-half-not, so that does pose another issue entirely.
Please try to finish the collab with time in mind, while of course preserving quality.
We’re right now, 2 pages in to the Collab which is to me is rather good. I like how it’s turning out and likely once it reaches the bottom of page 2, we’ll post it. I think then we should be able to branch off to individual post. However, I can’t promise my posts will be 3-4+ paragraphs every time Shon. It might be at least 2 paragraphs sometimes. Mainly so I am not putting in tons of unneeded fluff and risk moving the scene too far forward. Is that alright Shon?

I'll PM Aweena once more, perhaps you should do the same? The fact she showed up briefly gave me hope, but also makes me even more hesitant to help get Abbie sorted then have the problem disappear. I'm sure you can understand that position.
I’ll try, but don’t think I’ll have better luck then you to be honest.
I understand the position as I’ve been there before. Yet another part of being a GM is also tied greatly to moving the story and keeping it flowing, which includes being flexible and taking risks that might need to be edited later. If I had waited until Inkwolf, a GM for Blood Act before I took it over, to come back in order to free up a PC that Player would never had gotten to enjoy the rp and likely would’ve watched the plotline more by on the sidelines. I felt it was better to plan for the worse, and fix it later.
Worse that happens is that Aweena comes back and we have to figure a way to undo what’s been done but it’s not impossible. At least in this moment, we have a temporary fix until something changes. Unlike a book, this plotline isn’t set in complete stone and so there’s likely to odd bumps that won’t smooth out nicely or stick out like a sore thumb. However they will be long forgotten in the thicker of things once it’s over.
@Zombie: you're up in the collab!
