Krista gave one last laugh as Jack announced the retreat of their enemies. Apparently, one boat was enough to repel them. It didn't exactly spell well for the future of their military might, but that was always a good thing for them. She got back up to her feet, taking deeper breaths to try and calm down the adrenaline though her system, and walked over to where Jack sat, and patted his shoulder as gesture of friendly appreciation. "Lovely work, master sailor. Expensive or not, it appears I owe you a drink -- ahh, the trouble I must go through for the people who keep me alive," she said in a good-hearted gibe, and turned just as Leon climbed down the hatch from up-top.
She raised an eyebrow at his first comment on how 'she' was. Leon was hardly one to give concern about another person's well-being, and she was quite blatantly alive and unhurt--
"Th'ah Lagoon, th'aht is!"
She suppressed a wry smile at the fool who had probably been waiting to use that joke for years. Pretending to confounded by the man's astounding wit and humour by keeping a quizzical expression on her face. She then purposefully made her face light up, as if realization struck her. "Oh, I get it!" she turned her head to Jack, a tone strongly resembling someone speaking about a child. "It's kinda like humour, but completely different." She faked a humouring laugh, and turned to the hatch. "But nice try, Leo. You'll make someone laugh one day. Maybe."
She climbed up the hatch, and looked out on the rest of her crewmates. "We all alive?" she said rhetorically, looking over everyone. Miraculously, she didn't think anyone was actually hurt. That was amazing. How the hell was no-one hurt? She laughed at Alice's antics and Dimitri holding on for dear life, until she saw blood streaking down her face. "Hey, Sunshine, you get skimmed or something? Might wanna patch that up," she in Portuguese -- Alice was one of the few people she actually used it on, and she had to keep up on her practice, even if it was technically pointless. "Although you do look great streaked in red."
