Verizon woke from her nap and got up brushing some least of her dress a bunny was sitting by relaxed as she was. Walking down the path to her house she made a short cut to the other side of the park and sat on one of the benches her basket placed on the grass next to her.

She started to sing to her self, sorting leafs she found on the bench not what type of trees they came from.

Naneko sits waiting

Naneko finished her morning work an sat back on her heels with a sigh.
This was what she called the sleepy tine of day, when she was in danger of being captured by the hypnotic spell of a sun beam as had her companion Kuroi Sora who even now was a ball of shining black fur.
When the leaves return is it truly spring?
When the snow melts an the birds return to sing?

Sings Naneko in her strange an haunting language.
Her voice soft an comforting carries with it a fearful lament hidden in it.
She is not Neko like many of the other villagers but Nekomata, a potential monster and each year along she has felt her soul grow colder. She is afraid if she remains alone till this year's snows that she will turn and flee into the mountains where she'll begin to seek travelers to prey upon

The sudden stop caused Alex to feel a bit of a sharp tug in his arm, but it didn't seem enough to occupy his attention for long. He looked up at the man who caught him as he patted his head and nodded. He really wanted to get across the bars like the older kids could.

"Alex!"

The little neko's head turned to see his big brother coming toward him. He smiled at him as he approached and pointed up at where he had just fallen from. "Nero! I'm gonna make it across that!" The older boy looked up where he pointed and sighed. "Alex, don't go off and do these things without telling me. I don't want you getting hurt." He looked over at the human in front of him. "Um...hi. Thanks for helping him, I hope he hasn't caused you any trouble."

Koshi waved at the two and walked out of the Library. He began walking around. He decided to walk towards the park. Once he arrived at the park he saw two nekos. He decided to interact with them. He walked up to them. He saw the other human and smiled.

-"Why Hello there what might you two be doing this precious day?"

He looked at the small neko. It seemed as if he was having fun, nothing bad going on here. That was a good thing.

Nero turned, a bit surprised to hear someone else arrive. "Oh, hello. We're just taking advantage of the nice weather. How are you today, sir?"

Alex smiled up at the nekomata and waved. "Hi! I'm learning to swing across the bars up there! It's kinda hard, though."

At the school Silvia turned back to the lesson. She did not care if the others took her seriously or not. No one deserved to be ridiculed after all.

Mikota has lunch

Mikota gave the rest of the Class her full attention trying not to become the target of reprimand again.
When class was over she gathered her lunch box an headed outside to eat under the branches of her favorite tree.
Soon she was settling down in the shade and opening her box of store bought goodies, she would have made her own but her cooking was little better than what she could buy so she didn't see the point in going to the time an trouble.

Koshi looked at Alex, he smiled. He then looked back at Nero and answered his question.

-"I am just fine... I am taking aadvantage of this fine day and I am taking a small stroll around the town since no case has come in back at the Police Station..."

He looked at Alex and walked towards him. He started to give him some tips.

-"The trick is imagining that you will make it, it also depends on upper body strength.." Koshi told him.

He felt electricity go all over his body. It quickly went away.

Nero smiled. "That sounds like a good thing. It's nice to know that it's peaceful around right now, I guess." The fact that people were not reporting a lot of trouble today was a bit comforting, considering what he had been hearing lately about the trouble travelers had been having in the woods.

Alex nodded, listening carefully to the advice. It seemed like it made sense, and he really wanted to see if it would work. He raised his hands toward the bars again and looked up. "I wanna try again! I bet I can make it this time."

Silvia put her books away and hoisting her backpack she headed out for lunch which was in a small bag. Noticing Mikota alone she went over to her taking out the materials she lent her. "Thank you for helping me out today.." She said as she sat down not so close to her after setting the supplies near her as she began to eat her lunch sandwich.

Valen had thoughts about the village before seeing it, but those expectations melted away when he was met with it's appearance. The sight of people with cat ears was... new, maybe a bit off, but nevertheless a good sign. In his mindset, the weirder the town, the more likely he'll find what he's looking for. Valen continued into the village, glancing around his surroundings in slight confusion. His eyes scanned around the buildings for anything like a tavern. While looking however, Valen's vision once again zapped out. He stopped, stabbed his sword into the ground, and with a growl of annoyance began to enchant himself. When his vision came to, he retrieved his weapon and continued his trek around the village.

Koshi looked at Alex. He let out a light laugh.

-"Go ahead, I bet you can make it all the way towards the end. I believe in you."

Koshi stretched, he sure was tired so he took a seat on a bench. He looked at Nero.

-"That is true. It's good to see that those Bandits haven't attacked town recently. If they were to attack then we would have a huge mess on our hands."

Nero picked up Alex and brought him up to the bars to try again. While the younger neko swung around on the first bar, trying to find the right time to catch the next one, the older one stood right by him to catch him in case he fell again. He turned his head toward Koshi as he rested on the bench. "I suppose so. They've been a real problem, I hear."

He looked back at Alex for a moment, thinking about how his own life had been affected by the bandits. For all he knew, maybe Alex was the same way. He had never managed to get the whole story of what had happened that day, after all. All he knew was that his parents had disappeared, so it could have been anything. "I wonder why there have been so many in the area. Why would they come here?"
