Name/Rank: Grav Roc, Inquisition Body guard

Age: 24

Gender: Male

Organization: Former Sargent of an ogryn squad. Ordo Xenos and most recently Ordo Hereticus

Appearance: Like all ogryn, Grav is a large brute. Reaching a little over 3 meters, and about 400 pounds of muscle. Grav lacks the grotesque obesity found in many ogryns. While still very thick all round, one would quickly find out that under that thin layer of fat is muscle hard enough to stop any number of damage. Due to his BONE enhancements and from damage gained from previous campaigns, Grav's head is almost completely covered in metal, the only thing left visibly is his mouth which is filled with variations of rounded and jagged teeth. In his imperial guard past, he sustained heavy damage to his arms protecting a Commissar from Necron fire and as a result gained new limbs from the inquisition.

History: Grav grew up on a planet he didn't care to know the name to, once his time had come to join the Imperial Guard he was never happier. He was sent to Catachen and excelled, he even killed a small Catachen Devil by himself, earning him respect among the guardsmen. The years seemed to blur for Grav, just shooting and smashing until he was chosen for the BONE procedure and was made a sergeant of his own squad. Several more years of that lead him to a world full of nasty metal men who shot green beams that cut the flesh right of the bone, and the bones too. Grav fought harder than he ever did before, smashing and shooting every single one he saw. But they kept coming back together after he smashed them, that wasn't fair and it made Grav angry. So he smashed more harder and shot more better until he saw some aim at the Commissar, now that something Grav didn't like at all and he put himself in front of their guns. The beams broke "Daisy", Grav's ripper gun, and they took away Gravs arms. So Grav did the only thing left he could do and started stomping and kicking the shiny little robot men until he passed out. Once Grav woke up, he wasn't in the battle ground or a feel bad tent. He was on a ship with an Inquisitor, and he had a job for Grav. Smash the aliens that the emperor told him to smash, and Grav could get his arms back. With the man mentioning the emperor, Grav agreed immediately. For nothing was greater than the emperor. So the Inquisitor gave him new, better arms and a new Daisy, then shipped him off to go stomp some aliens with an inquisitor friend of his. It went like this for awhile, an inquisitor would ship him off somewhere and he would stomp aliens, then he would be sent to go somewhere eltse. However this time he wasn't sent to go stomp some aliens, this time he was sent to go to a planet belonging to the emperor and stomp on people who didn't like the emperor, which is just silly.

Personality: Grav, like all ogryns, is simple. Even with his intelligence boosting implants, he doesn't understand big things as much as others, but what he does know is that he needs to stomp, smash, and shoot anything bad that the emperor tells him to. Another thing with Grav is that if you are to gain his loyalty, he will trust and do anything in his power to make sure you are ok. Even going so far as to shield you from harm with his own body.

Equipment/Wargear: Due to working with the inquisition, Grav is better equipped than most ogryn.
- A set of ogyn carapace armor
- Daisy, a custom ripper gun particularly useful against meaty bits.
- An ogryn sized Catachen Fang pattern knife
- Bionic arms, when all else fails, use your mits.

Skills/Abilities:

~BONE Enchancments: Being a "Bone'ead" makes Grav slightly more intelligent than others of his kind.

~Catachan Conditioning: Having been in the Catachan 2nd caused Grav to be extremely tough and vicious in combat, he even gained a poison immunity to all but the most potent of poisons found on Catachan.

~And They Will Know No Fear: While not a space marine, Grav has a particularly favorable trait of having almost no fear of his own personal death, but he does have a fear of failure.

Other: If no one wants to be the inquisitor that takes him on as a body guard. I'm just going to make one up and kill him off.

Ave Imperator. Morituri te salutant.

As Catachan Devils grow, they develop more and more mid-sections and pairs of legs. A fully grown adult can have up to thirty sets of legs, and can reach up to thirty meters in length

(...)

Catachan Devils are territorial, yet quite sociable creatures, tending to form into nesting groups. These groups often contain several large Devils, as well as a few dozen or so of 'Devilspawn' (younger Devils). The entire nest will come together to defend their territory from any intruders, be it rival Devils, colonists, or other predators, and they have even been known to attack Imperial Guard Tank Companies.

Yeah, going to have to agree with that. I can't really see a single Ogryn clearing out a nest of those things. ^^;

For reference, a Baneblade is only 13 meters long. Catachan Devils are nasty, nasty bastards. XD

Damn really? I need to work on my metric system. No way would I have said had I known. I guess I'll have to settle with one...like a small one because jesus christ, 30 meters is like...almost 100 feet. Grav may be a tough sunnofa bitch, but he ain't that tough.

I like to think that the existence of nests of 30 meter long superscorpions on a planet that is specifically geared towards killing anything that sets foot on it is a good example of how ridiculously insane the setting is, really.

It's okay, though. We all make mistakes. XD

Finished my character sheet. Added the history, and edited in some specialized ammo to make up for my character's lack of grenades. Also added a rebreather, since they're standard-issue to Arbitrators.

@dereken: Ding ding ding! You are correct! You win a cookie! And though I know Starship Troopers isn't WH40k, it's still awesome. Also, you're accepted.

@Pathfinder: Accepted. Your character can be my character's bodyguard, on loan from another Inquisitor, or simply working for Inquisitor Case. Your choice.

On that note, I may have been unclear on that point. I AM allowing people to make their characters part of the Interrogator's party. Anyone who wants their character to be part of the Inquisitorial party should add "Inquisition, Ordo Xenos" to their Organization and a bit on their recruitment to the Inquisition in their history.

@Lucian: You're good. Accepted.

EDIT: I've made a roster of accepted characters with links to their CS, because things were getting a little messy.
