Bio: Selene was born in Mexico to a single mother and father. They were a poor family and barely had money to pay for survival. But, they did. And they were happy because they had each other.

Then, when Selene was 7 her parents noticed odd things. Such as items moving around on their own. They quickly realized Selene had powers. Instead of hating or fearing her they did their best to protect her and help her.

Then, it all got bad when she was 15, one day a nosey neighbor saw her using her powers to lift up a garbage can. They reported her and she was fount out. The police tried to take her into custody but she so fought back bravely.

So, they sent every police force they had after her and her parents did their best to protect her. They were killed in the cross-fire. Selene ran and ran. For years. Never staying in one place for too long. Never having full control. She hurt people throughout the years. She never forgave herself for it. Then, she fought out about the school and decided it was her only chance.

Personality: Selene is a very nice person. She is very considerate and always wants to help people. Even if it gets her in danger sometimes. She is very level-headed and rarely loses her temper. If she does though...run.

Weapons: He prefers using his staff and playing cards, but he is a killer shot with a gun and will turn anything he can get his hands on into a time bomb with his kinetic ability.
Weaknesses: Beautiful women (just like his father), limited invisibility and cannot charge kinetic energy while invisible.
Personality: Johnny is a huge flirt just like his father. He loves to play practical jokes on people through use of his powers, but is able to keep himself from destroying everything in the meantime. He is still a kid at heart, but has seen enough violence in his life as well as done some jail time, so he understands that he needs to grow up.
Bio: His parents raised him well and taught him how to control his powers. His mother died when he was young in a raid by mutant haters. Little else is known about his past other than the fact that his father had trained him to be able to join either the thieves guild or the x-men, and after many years with the guild he chose to go to the x-men in a hope to be able to help as well as having a hope to get revenge on those who killed his mother.

So, do people want to start the story, I am not sure how this is really going to work. This is really my first RP with so many people, not to mention on this site. I have used many other sites in the end but they were mainly ran by people I knew in person.

Its cool man. Um usually the group starter starts with an introduction and then kind of sets things into motion.

We'll wait for Jones to post the first post in the IC, which should be tonight, tomorrow, or the night after or whenever. After he does his intro post, we can do ours and traditionally we wait for everyone to do at least one post before we go on to do more posts and after that's it's kind of free reign. And may I just say welcome, it's always nice to have new rpers :)

Bio:
Conner grew up in a family of seven, but all of his siblings are out of the house. Conner grew up in the suburbs of the city and lived a relatively normal life. That is, until he discovered his ability to control the wind. His mom saw it as a curse, but his father and brothers saw it as a gift. The brothers encouraged him to try and harness it and control it, to use it to his advantage, but overtime, his mom wanted him to hide it. Over time, he and his mother grew distant, and she began to pretend like he didn't exist.
When Professor Xavier came to Conner's family, his mother almost forced him to go to the school. Though at first, he was unwilling, Conner ended up going to the school so that he could be among other gifted people - Mutants, as Xavier called them.

Family/loved ones?: Aaron Outlaw(Father), Regina Outlaw(Mother), Carley Outlaw(Sister), James Outlaw(Brother), Samuel Outlaw(Brother), Kyle Outlaw(Brother)

Personality: Conner tends to keep to himself, but isn't insecure. He is willing to make friends, but he isn't the first person to greet newcomers. He holds a deep respect for people like Xavier and Logan.

Powers/Abilities: Conner can cause wind to move in any direction he wants on command. When he does so, the irises of his eyes glow a tad brighter than normal/

Other: He loves to read and one day wants to be an author.

Name: Christine Perkins

Bio: Christine was born in Athens, Georgia to her pastor father and housewife mother. Athens was a small town half of it consumed by the university so that left little to the residents thus she grew up in a small southern community. She was a bit of an outcast due to her shyness and just couldn't comprehend the sheer amount of politeness and niceness that was required of a preacher’s daughter. Her powers began manifesting at the age of thirteen. She was sweeping the floor of the church and her broom caught fire, she would walk into the room and the lights would flicker, and at one point glowed so brightly that the bulbs burst. By the time she was sixteen she had a good idea of what was happening to her and tried her best to control it though her emotions were strongly tied to her powers and she would slip up. But nothing compared to what happened the last Sunday before her life changed. Christine had been a part of the choir since she was little and on that day she was to preform her first solo. As she stepped up and begun to sing, the reality that all eyes were on her was too much to bear. The curtains caught fire, the lights began to flicker and she felt strong warmth in her fingertips. Looking down they had begun to glow like little flashlights. Everyone in the church panicked and ran screaming. She was forced to reveal herself to her parents and the town began to assume that she was possessed by a demon, including her father. He wanted to perform an exorcism on her despite her pleading with him that she wasn’t possessed. However, the night of it her mother dragged her out of bed driving her to the train station. She then bought her a ticket to North Salem, New York, gave her a suitcase surprisingly full of Christine’s clothes, a teary look and a kiss then sent her off to the school away from her father’s wrath.

Personality: Christine is a shy girl with mild social anxiety and a severe case of aphonia (Stage Fright). This makes her put up a wall of aloofness and aggressiveness that she hates because it’s not her at all. In reality she wants to be sociable and show that she actually is good person with a curiosity that will get her killed one day but, is trapped in her insecurities. The fact that she is emotionally fragile doesn't help either; she takes everything to heart and tends to wear her heart on her sleeve.
Powers/Abilities: Plasma Manipulation- : Create/Generate/Increase, shape and manipulate all forms of plasma, including fire, electricity, and light.

Name: Riley Fratello

Bio: Riley has a mental block so his memories are different. However this is how his story begins.

Riley was the second child born to Lillian and Roberto Fratello. They babied him more so than his brother, but did not warn him of his mutant powers. However, his uncle knew of Riley and Jason's powers. His uncle had mutant powers as well. His uncle could blow up and reform himself, however it took a while to reform. One night, in a particularly heated discussion with Riley's parents, he went after the boys. He was going to take them for his own personal reasons. After a long night and a heated fight he blew. The blast killed Riley's mother and Father, leaving Riley alone with his brother. They lived on the streets for many years, just surviving with each other. They went through much struggle and hardship, all from starvation to sickness, lack of shelter, and lack of friends. Alex eventually offered them a place to live and adopted them as family. It was in Alex's home that Riley learned his superpowers.

However, Riley remembers it much differently. Riley remembers there being a fire and his mother giving her life to save him and his brother. Alex's parents were there and they took them in almost instantly.

Family/loved ones?: He has a brother named Jason, and his best friend Alex. The rest of his family are dead.
Personality: He is shy and loving. He's a very clingy person as well as caring. He's a wonderful friend to have. However, he's very naive, he could be swayed to do almost anything.
Powers/Abilities: Riley has the powers of Bone manipulation and Shape-shifting. (They go hand-in-hand.) He can change the shape of his bones, regrow them, and protrude them out of his body, making them weapons. Using this and his other mutant power he can turn into animals that he wishes, but he has to see the animal first.
Years attended: First year.
Status: Student.
Other: It's not good, I haven't Forum Rped in a long time.
