John has dark spiked hair, his eyes are deep blue and he has an averange lenght of body. He has a muscular build, aldo they aren't always visible trough his clothes.
John always tries to hide his body inside his clothes with long sleeves and hoodies.

Personality:

John is a person who rather is alone that being with other people, because of some issues that happend in the past.
Aldo John is a sweet and kind hearted guy, he is also willing to take a life no mather what the consecuences are.
John also barely speaks, he rather keeps in silent that being a talkative person, because for him actions say more than words do.

Superpower:

Mind Control ~ John can manipulate anyone with just having eyecontact, once he has the chance to glance into your eyes for just a moment, he can make you do anything he wants. Aldo it takes several seconds to give any command that John wants to give the target. And the longer the command the longer the time is needed to glance into the persons eyes.
For Example:
John looks into the targets eyes, gives the command jump. This takes 3 seconds to work for the command is short and simple.
John looks into the targets eyes, gives the command to run around town, buying all the candy in the shops and then return to John. This command is quite longer and needs more than 10 seconds to be able to work.

John his eyes glow up if he uses his power, aldo this glow only lasts for a second and afterwards it just dissapears, no mather how long he has eyecontact with the person, nor for how long he uses his power.

Biography:

When John was young, he was an orphan. He never had anyone around him except the rats and insects that scourged the sewer. Trough this, John knew that he would make something out of his life, no mather what the costs would be!
After a few years, John started to steal from the wealthy ones and use it for his own good, thanks to his he was able to train his body and get into Underground Fights to even earn more money than he could inmagine. At the finals of his first tournament, he found out about his powers, with the long eyecontact that he had with his opponent, he found out every single move that his opponent would make, thanks to this he won the tournament and went home with quite a sum of money.
Once back in the sewers he found out he could control the rats with just a simple glance at their eyes, they did everything John said and John started to train these powers so he could become wealthy.
Once he became richer and richer, it was found out that he had this power, and it didnt last long before he was put inside the Asylum.

Other: John only uses his superpower when he needs to use it, otherways he just uses brute strenght for his fist were the first thing he could rely on.

I hope it's okay if I put a claim on two powers for the two characters I'm planning for the thread. The male is going to have telepathy (very different from the mind control already posted) and the female is going to have teleportation. They may take a little bit to get posted up since I have to pull their information from the book from which I am removing them.

I had a question I forgot to ask on the interest thread. I tend to be verbose when I post - since I am planning to have more than one character, is it okay if I post for them separately if I obey the other clause of waiting for the others to post before posting for the particular character again?

If we can lay claim on powers, I have a pyrokinetic I'm typing up right now. I should be done soon.

Name: Dahiro “Hiro” Fukushima
Age: 19
Gender: Male
Appearance: Hiro has brown hair that’s been cut unevenly by himself. It’s thick and mistreated because of all the times he’s accidentally caught his hair on fire. His eyes are almond shaped and dark brown, his cheekbones are high and his complexion is even, as per general Japanese features. He’s 5’8” and somewhat underweight, but he’s more muscle than fat even though he’s skinny. He has burn scars in patches on his forearms and one noticeable burn scar on his jaw under his ear.

Personality: Hiro is quiet, but he has a temper. He can stew over some things for a while, but when he’s had enough, he’ll snap which can get violent. He’s a wee bit of a pyromaniac and probably could use some legitimate help with that. He’s passionate and has a problem of taking things too seriously which ends up with him getting really worked up over some misunderstanding and a little humorless. He definitely has an ego and thinks he’s better than everyone else, but will, begrudgingly, admit he’s wrong on some rare occasions. He can be snappy without meaning to if he's tired or irritable.

Superpower: He’s can raise the temperature of matter with his mind over a short distance or touch; Often resulting in igniting, melting, or burning that matter. He doesn’t have completely control over his ability and it can backfire pretty badly on himself. If he focuses, he can generate a fire or heat up his own skin without hurting himself, but if he’s not concentrating, he’ll burn.

Biography: Hiro comes from a poor family in a fairly dangerous neighborhood. His parents didn’t seem to like each other and all the stresses at home and a possible learning disability had him failing in school as well. Life was pretty bleak for him for a long time until he discovered his powers. He kept it a secret (concealed it with lighters, practiced whenever no one was looking) but it started to get to his head. He started using it to protect himself when he was walking the streets late at night. Then he started using it more to screw around with the kids that bullied him. Before he knew it, he was the bully and everyone was afraid of him and his inexplicable ability to cause burns.

People were starting to talk about taking him away, so he ran when he was eighteen. Laying low didn’t work for him for very long, but he had some success robbing places and in arson. He was caught robbing a gas station and subdued before he could fight back. When he was taken in for questioning, he owned up to all the fires and robberies claiming to have a special ability, but no one believed him. Instead of jailing him, he pleaded insanity and was subsequently sent to an asylum.

Other: He’s got a dirty mouth. And he’s fluent in Japanese.

Name: Melissa Lockhart
Age: 18
Gender: Female
Appearance:
Melissa stands about 5'5. Her body is curvy and her hair is long to her chest down. Her hair is colored light brown and her eyes are dark-ish green. Melissa's chest is medium, she isnt't flat chested nor does she have big woman goods. She is average, nor big nor flat. Medium. Her skin is rather pale, and her fashion is the girly type, but dont let her image get you.

Personality: Melissa is a fiesty girl. She likes to do her own things and no one tells her, what to do. If her mother didnt tell her that, what makes you think she will listen to strangers? Melissa often breaks the rules and she decides to make her own rules. She loves to be a leader. Melissa is also a very brave girl. At times she could be sweet if she really gets to know the side of the person the true side. She respects people who respect her. Melissa is a bit flirty and she can sometimes be a big liar and she dosen't get caught. She is also overprotective of her family and 'friends'. She likes to have fun and be herself, and she speaks her mind, whatever pops out of her head. She could be friendly to those who be friendly to her, if someone is being an ass or just plain mean. Then she can do that aswell and twice the worse.

Superpower:
Phase: Melissa's power is unique. She has the ability to pass through solid matter and objects by passing her atoms through the spaces between the atoms of the object through which she is moving. In this way she and the object through which she is passing could temporarily merge without interacting, and each is unharmed when She had finished passing through the object. With lots of practices, she could phase others through objects and such.

Biography: Melissa was the only born from the Lockhart family. She wasn't the best child when young, mainly because her father let her do whatever she wanted. Due to her mother dying, when she was young, her father took care of her and he spoiled her alot. Melissa is a girly rebel in the present, because of how her father treated her. He always used to beat his daughter up, whenever she did something wrong. But it made her stronger. Her father began to teach her about hand to hand combat. This skill made her stronger and fearless, now she wasn't very scared of her father.

A few days later. Melissa started to feel very different. This one time, she was sleeping and woke up the other day on the bathroom, which was below her bedroom. Melissa didn't know what was it. But she noticed that she had a special gift, her father noticed this gift and decided to put her in where the crazy , insane people go. The Asylum. But she wasn't crazy nor insane.

Other: Melissa is an expert with hand to hand combat.

Name: Jennifer MacIntosh
Age: 16
Gender: female
Appearance: Unlike her twin, Jennifer stands only about five foot five. Although they share similar facial structure, it is obvious she has more feminine features where as his are more masculine - her jaw is a softer line that is more rounded where as his is stronger and more squared, his face more squared off than her more rounded features. She shares the same kind of eyes though - best way to see the resemblance - with the same olive green color and thick eyelashes. Her light brown hair is straight, left long to cascade down to about mid-back with bangs that sweep in front of her eyes like a veil and are just barely long enough to tuck behind her ears. Although she's not thin, she is in good enough shape for her slight curves and modest bust to be noticed without having a super taut stomach; at least, her stomach is flat. She tends to prefer multiple layers - tank top under a long sleeve tee-shirt layered with a short sleeve tee-shirt, and a hooded sweatshirt over it all - and is most comfortable in boy pants instead of girl pants with sneakers to top it all off.

Personality: Quiet, meek, and withdrawn are a few of the first things people will notice about her. She doesn't like talking to others, and would rather slink away than speak to anyone except for her brother. The only time she feels comfortable talking to anyone is when he's around. She has massive problems with depression and it isn't hard for others to get her into such moods - especially if making her feel even more helpless than she already does. This girl has no sense of confidence and lacks all self-esteem. She'd rather sit in the back and watch things than be up front and doing something.

Superpower: Teleportation: unlike typical teleportation where one can focus on a location and teleport there, her ability pulls her from where she is to a different location. She knows it's about to happen when she starts getting a migraine and a glimpse of where she's going *usually nothing helpful* flashes into her vision, but that's only seconds before she's torn from where she was and pushed into existence in a different location where someone is in desperate need of help.

Biography: Born fifteen minutes after her twin, there was a complication in the delivery that ultimately cost their mother her life; it wasn't her fault, the woman had been told she would have been discouraged from getting pregnant if they had known about her preexisting condition before hand, but their father doesn't see it that way. They both grew up with the shadow of their mother's death hanging over their head. When her brother first started complaining about hearing things, he was taken to an institute and she was left with all the blame on her. Not a good environment for a child to live in.
Especially not when her ability budded late and it cost her father his life when he rushed into an armed hold up to get her. These unexplained incidents kept happening, and what was worse what that - on top of being pulled to places where she could literally do nothing to help and was only an added liability - she was bounced around the foster care system and dealt with the abuse at the hands of abused children turned abusers. This finally all came to a head when she ended up in yet another dangerous situation and there were witnesses to her disappearance and reappearance. Right after that, she was sent to the asylum before the injuries received from her latest teleportation had even been treated.

Other: She has a history of cutting - but on her wrists instead of thighs and stomach like most females - and has made a few suicide attempts over the past four years. She has been put on suicide watch, and is not allowed near anything sharp, pointy, or the like.



Name: Alexander MacIntosh
Age: 16
Gender: Male
Appearance: Alex stands at about five foot ten. He keeps his light brown hair cut short, and generally styled with gel so it appears darker than it should. He has the olive green eyes that are narrow in shape with somewhat thick eyelashes to help frame them. Lean, he has always had a pension to athletics - such as field and track, football, and baseball - and keeps in very good shape with regular runs/exercise and good diet. Preferring cool/dark monochromatic colored long sleeved shirt - or whatever kind of short sleeve tee-shirt on top of a dark colored long sleeve shirt - typically with loose legged jeans and sneakers.

Personality: Although he does share the traits of being more introverted than extroverted, Alex doesn't have the same inherent dislike for others that his sister does. Despite the ability, he does like to be around people - at least then he feels like there's a reason for him to hear things instead of everything just penetrating his skull. After spending most of his life in an institution, he has a bit of a social impediment and some of his sessions with shrinks is to help him learn to socialize better with others. But in this new institution, with the lack of voices, he finds himself feeling alone and seeks out group interactions - even though he's a bit slow on the uptake for how to converse with others.

Superpower: Telepathy: he hears the ambient thoughts of hose around him, with those that actually touch him becoming a booming voice that drowns out all others.

Biography: With his sister taking most of the blame for their mother's death, he did what he could to comfort her and help share the blame. Unfortunately, he had more and more problems with this as his power emerged at the tender age of seven. It got to the point that his sister's presence wasn't enough to help stave off all the voices. His father assumed it was just a form of psychosis, and sent him to a mental institution where he was pumped full of all kinds of drugs to try to combat the assumed hallucinations. He spent most of his years there, switched from one set of drugs to another and then another. When his sister's powers finally caused her to get put away, a new doctor showed up and reevaluated his condition before transferring him to the same facility.

Other: *I don't really know what to put here for him.*

I need to figure out a character still, haha. If I take too long, don't feel bad about moving on without me. But I'll try to get up by tomorrow.

John, I think mind control and memory alteration aren't in the same vein. We'll see what Faith says about it later, though.

Hiro, I assumed you'll have time control haha. I think your character is okay, just the phrasing of it. If he alters temperature, he might as well freeze things too, so my advise would be to 'raise temperatures'.

Twins, I think they're good. Same with the other Captain, it's pretty unique.

Don't change your CSes yet, this is just my assessment and Faith will be the one to decide things.

Name: Larissa "Lacey" Lana Lovelette

Age: 17

Gender: Female

Appearance: Her pale blonde hair is long and wavy, falling down to her lower back; she tend to tie it back into a single, long braid (granted, it's a messy and loose braid). Lacey is small and petite, easily called scrawny. She's flat chested compared to a majority of women and very innocent and sweet looking overall. Her skin is generally rather pale; even in the summer, she only burns under the sun--never tans. Also pale are her wide eyes: they're a very light blue-grey color.

Personality: Although withdrawn and typically pretty shy and clueless, Lacey tends to force herself to open up and interact. She sees her shyness as an obstacle to overcome. When she manages this, she's very friendly and polite. However, she's not always the most agreeable and might disagree for the sake of argument, as she is well versed when her interest is piqued. She's still young and only so experienced, though, so it's not terribly hard to throw her off. When this is the case, she easily becomes flustered and it becomes hard for her to regain her train of thought. On top of all this, she's very expressive and can be read like a book. On her own, she's always trying something new such as attempting to learn a new instrument (however, she's very flaky and has trouble sticking to anything long enough to master it).

Superpower: Aerokinetic flight. She has the power to produce and ride wind that allows her fly and float. Outside the asylum, her feet were almost never on the ground.

Biography: Lacey was born to a small family--quite literally: both her parents were scrawny, petite people and she was no different. Her size as an infant caused worry within the hospital, but she grew up healthy enough. As a small person, she grew up with a small personality. She was quite shy all through school, but she always had something to say--so she often kept her mouth shut.

At sixteen years old, she started working as a waitress at her grandparents' diner. She was very clumsy and almost always flustered. Needless to say, she wasn't a very good waitress and it stressed her out beyond words. However, that's when she discovered the power to walk on air. With this power, her confidence was boosted and she became surprisingly elegant and confident in her work.

Her saving grave, ironically, is what put her in the asylum. She writes to her parents everyday and practices playing instruments when she gets the chance. Otherwise, she's very lonely.

Other: Enjoys wind instruments, dabbles in art, would love to learn how to dance but she's far too clumsy without her powers, is a light sleeper.

Appearance:
Scarlet is approximately 5'7" in height and has a thin frame. Her legs and arms are long and willowy, with the sharp corners of her body giving her a slightly angular appearance. Her is skin pale and smooth, with splashes of freckles on her face, her shoulders and her upper legs. She has a short crop of chestnut brown hair arranged in a half hazard, slightly curled pixie cut around her face. Her face is small and rounded at the cheeks, with a slightly upturned nose and pointed chin. Her eyes are grey and almond shaped, with a fringe of straight, pronounced lashes framing them.

Personality:
Scarlet's movements are slightly cat like in their fluidity and laziness, and her mind is sharp as a tack. You wouldn't know it by looking at her relaxed, wandering gaze however. She can often misunderstand social context and other intricacies like sarcasm and subtlety. She will only give her opinion when it is asked for, but she'll give it in a straight forward, often blunt manner when it is. She has a fondness for lounging in strange, backwards positions and enjoys puns. You may find her mumbling under her breath, as she often repeats phrases or words that get stuck in her head without realizing it. She often falls into periods of depression, which usually mean that a particularly unhappy event is destined to occur.

Superpower:
Precognition: Precognition allows Scarlet to sense the outcome of an event out of a series of choices, as well as sense an oncoming event up to five minutes prior to it's arrival. The former works mainly as a heightened form of intuition, when given a set of options, the correct one will feel "right" to her. The latter works as a form of "gut reactions"; if a tennis ball is flying to her head while her back is turned, she will step to the side before impact. With larger, more important events, vague pictures or thoughts will form in her mind with a sense of urgency, alerting her to a future situation.

Biography:
Scarlet first became consciously aware of her powers at age ten, when she noticed that the things she thought may happen often did. She began to test this theory out in a variety of ways, and through this strengthened her powers. Even at ten she knew that if she told her friends or parents about this she'd be seen as off her rocker. None the less she trusted her dearest friend in the world, Emily, with the information, unable to keep it to herself. Her friend was understanding and enthusiastic in private, but word soon spread through the school that Scarlet was a world class freak. The teasing of her classmates and strange looks from the teachers she could handle, but the betrayal of her dear friend she could not. She became depressed and sullen, causing trouble in the class room and frequenting the detention hall regularly. Her parents, a sweet, if a bit out of touch couple in their mid 20's, were stumped as to what had turned their happy, outgoing daughter into such a problem student. Therapists, counselors and specialists were visited frequently, but though her acting out died down as the years wore on, she was branded as a outcast and made not one friend more throughout her school years. After graduation, she had little motivation and laid around her house doing nothing for days on end besides working at her dead end job in a grocery store stocking cans at night. Finally her parents convinced her to see one more psychiatrist, hoping he could prescribe her something to help with her lack of motivation. The man was kind, and listened to Scarlet, something she hadn't experienced anyone do in a long time. She eventually opened up to him about what had started all of this, her powers. Her relief over ridding herself of her burden was short lived, the Psychiatrist unlawfully reported her as a danger to herself and others and had her committed to the asylum.

As for the amount of players, I'm still waiting on Faith for how many will be in, so no promises, but I think we can make it work.
