Well, the group would have to stay reasonably small as I stated before. Makes things a lot more fluidic. I will need people to play high ranking NPC's in the NCR and the Legion Military.

NV Plotline is designed for one person, so I think that we will have to make some adjustments.

As for the starting point, I don't know. My character is going to be an alcoholic who basically lives at the bar so yeah lol.

I agree with this. I think we should start off in a camp across the water (and maybe hidden in a bunker?) close to the Legion. We don't need to RP a lengthy ass trek cause booooooooring.

Also, I think with this amount of interest one character each is sufficient. I really don't see any point in mucking it up with multiple characters. I am always for introduction of NPCs that we can all control though.

I'm going for female ex legion. Studies Deathclaws and other assorted beasts from a scientific point of view. A little insane and sometimes hard to understand because she spends time jumping from academia to beast mentality. Limited social skills. Left the Legion because she couldn't understand random brutality of people, though, ironically enough she has warmed up to the idea as her studies drove her insane.

You know what though? I really wouldn't mind playing a scientist still working for the Legion.

Maybe a little camp across from a Legion camp would be a good idea. Attempting to loosen the Legion's grip, maybe? I say the camp be one of the ones that are scattered around New Vegas' outskirts, to maybe start a little small.

I like the idea of having three or four of us in a group somewhere near Vegas, though preferably not too close. The other members should join the group sometime later in the RP. Just a thought though.

I was also planning on having my character be an ex-Veteran Ranger.

The problem with the female legion character is that the Legion kept women as slaves and none of them would have been allowed to do anything but cook, clean or have babies.

Sadly true. But then again we could always bend rules a little.

I am also interested. Was thinking about an intelligent Super Mutant soldier or a ghoul ex-NCR spec-ops soldier. I've played 1, 2, Tactics, and most of 3. Don't know a whole lot about NV.

So Courier Six was shot in the head, only they actually died, buried in a shallow grave and left to rot.
Mr. House now needs to hire a new group, finding some of the best mercs, business men, scientists, and scavengers her assembles a team that would be divided up to hunt down Benny and get the chip, negotiate with the satellite factions like the khans, brotherhood and boomers. And the scientists to help get his secuitrons working in the mk.2 state.
As we progress their could be arguement as to wether we kill house or leave vegas under his rule, maybe even some of us sympthize with the NCR or Legion and we get torn apart, or all decide on one faction and become the ultimate force working to help new vegas (or destroy it.)

As it was said prior, Women were kept as slaves. I am not fond of "bending" the rules of lore. Certain other things, can be "tinkered" with, but bending a lore fact is not acceptable within my nature. You could however you that same concept, just with a tribe or without the "Legion" Nametag. I do like the idea of having another player who mine can enter "Primal Furys" with though. As mine is going to have a small series of mutations around Bestial Nature and Primal Instinct.

Onto the note of a Plot. I won't disagree overall with Jynx's plot idea. I just find it a bit too conformist to the Concept that has already been done. We are technically still doing the NV plotline, just with multiple people and skipping the trek around the 98. I would prefer something a little more custom. Besides, Mr. House would never hire Ex/Former(yes there is a difference) NCR or Legion. He doesn't trust them enough, because as he even says "History is doomed to repeat itself" and believes taking in Ex/Former NCR or Legion would actually be a series of spies getting inside his operation. I think a well planned out course of action, with an open and free-spirited beginning with a loose trail to a point of interest could give us some "free-roam" time, where we as writer's have a chance to establish our characters in "free" expression and establish concepts in the world that aren't given in game, but still giving us a direction to go to engage with the major plot.

^Pretty much what I got from it.

I'm not sure if y'all are concerned with my ability to play a slave with a believable back story, but you should not be. This is not my first rodeo. IF it really bothers you guys I can play a guy. No issues there either.

I was not concerned I just wanted to make sure ya knew that, somepeople have played through NV without ever making a character that is the opposite gender and never realized there was reason there is never any female legion troops.
