She frowns at the cleavage remark, and forces herself to not vomit.
"Oh god that sucked...." She says, shivering.

"i'd suggest getting some tea before the diarrhea starts" the man says evenly before handing her some of the food he was cooking before putting a kettle on for some tea. "the tea is to help with the side effects... and treat that kunai like your new glave for the time being. until i see fit to start the specialized training your glave will remain in it's current state"

`Hmph`. Mathew looks this strange man over. While the bootlicking certainly wasn't making him seem like any form of threat, those that can seem harmless often form a far greater threat than those that are seen initially as a danger. Mathew would need to balance the odds in this situation, deciding just how likely it was for this person to turn out to be an assassin, and just how much he could lose if that was the case. It wasn't entirely guesstimation, however, as several scans were reading the man's Divine Trace, as well as his molecular makeup, weaponry, and a variety of other simple scans. Just standing there, Mathew extended his senses through the machines around him, observing the stranger from all angles, and through a hundred different lenses and sensors, painting a complete picture of the man.

"You came onto my ship in order to strike down an Angel who was performing a diplomatic treaty for me. By Imperium law, you are accountable for Assault, as well as interfering with imperial business. Both of these laws are recognized by most of this universe's advanced civilisations, and both are considered just." Mathew's eyebrow raises itself, almost mockingly, as he looks down at the man from his steel throne, surrounded by a sea of keyboards. "Consider this, for the purpose of this conversation, to be a court of law. How do you defend yourself from these accusations? If you cannot, then I must be forced to apply punishment as is appropriate for these crimes. Justice cannot be lax, after all, and your offenses are quite grievous."

A ship had landed on the docks of the trade world. It was within the Clone Emperor's domain, however it was a world that found itself on a Dimensional Nexus, which made warp travel to an from this location quite easy. This had encouraged the original inhabitants of the planet to discover Warp Travel inordinately early, and they became explorers and traders throughout the galaxy. When the Clone Emperor had arrived, he had done so during a spat between two of the Matriarchs that had previously dominated the planet, and had taken the planet under his wing. Of course, even with the relatively good influence of the Clone Emperor's guiding hand, the town had naturally become a hive for illegal trafficking of slaves, drugs and weaponry. Hundreds of different species sold anything that they wished in the sprawling markets, and one could quite accurately state that everything was for sale. Planets, babies, demons, slaves, drugs, ships, antiqueties, art..... everything could be found on Mezzuran, the commerce planet that had become a focal point for intergalactic trade.

The ship had been an odd craft by all standards. It had been large and square, which was quite practical due to the lack of air resistance in space, but was still quite an odd design choice. It was an ugly, scrappy piece of crap, but that wasn't so uncommon in such a place. However, anyone who had seen it arrive would have noticed it had an incredibly capable warp drive, no visible engines, and yet it moved completely silently. A stealth craft, a smugler perhaps. And yet, it had no cloaking field, and didn't even attempt to hide from the sensors set up by the authorities to discourage smugglers. Of course, all those who speculated about what the ship's purpose was, as well as how much it would be worth, would have been far more surprised to find what secrets were hidden within.

Through the busy streets walked a man. He was a tall man, white hair swept to the side messily and a pair of glasses upon his face. He wore a long white coat above grey shirt and jeans, covered in odd stitches. The man strode with confidence, and people and non-people stood aside as he passed. Great warriors and merchants both renowned and unknown stepped aside, hugging the sides of the street. Vendors fell silent, the ever-present shouting halting into unnatural silence as the man walked past. And even when it resumed, there was an edge to it, a twist, a malicious will. For the people had not stood aside for a massive figure, nor some biologically engineered machine of massive destruction and death, conjured up from some twisted science lab. They stood aside for the grin on the man's face. The look in his eyes, that brought tears to the eyes of even the bravest of warriors. For that day, Hell walked through the streets.

Men brawled in the streets, as prices were raised. Voices dropped from the usual shouts into screams of anger and pain, as a war mech flung a presumptuous smuggler through a wall. The clone police force was on the scene, and yet many of them simply watched, oddly mesmerized, as like a ripple death spread from the steps of the demon. Gunfire, lasers cutting through the badly constructed buildings as the reasonable ripped each other apart. Explosions ripped through the town, as, shouting and screaming, the entire city began a slaughter. With each step that hit the cobblestone path, a ripple of insanity shot out through the crowds, as children killed their parents. Crying and wailing those that recovered held the corpses of those that they themselves had slaughtered. Murder fell to the norm, as the clones themselves joined into the fray. In the name of justice, supposedly, the innocent aggressors were gunned down viciously. The town was a warzone with a billion factions, a Hell dominated by the darkness, the passion and hate, the blood and soul of humankind.

Grin affixed to his face, the man walked up the steps to the House of Government. Guards rushed towards him, only to devolve into a nameless, murderous squabble. The doors slammed ahead in front of the man, blown apart by an inexplicable wind. Practically surrounded by an aura of swirling wind, the man stared up at the governors that had been gathered that very day to discuss the future of the planet. " Gentleman, how nice to see you're all here. I'm looking for a fellow. I'm sure you know him. Quite big, scary face, loves being self-important and righteous." Smiling, Stein stood there, the manifestation of Death.

The clone body guards sent to protect this detail rush stine, unlike the others he seens, they are different. Some flung spells, others fired with energy weapons, a few rushed with blade and bludgeon.
"For the emperor!" One shouts, and while the assult happens, the governers rush back, into a large device installed in the room, teleporting them away to the main planet. Or they would, if the device hadn't been rigged to explode, killing most all of the governing body of the planet. From the top of a far off building , watched Minx, using a pair of thermal binoculars.
"So, that's the infamous stine? He looks to be trouble...." She says, before vanishing.

Stein smiles, as the fools charge him. Straight, linear people, their minds clear and filled with purpose. They do not bend, they do not twist. However, that which does not bend is the easiest to break. A weed that does not give to the wind is snapped, and so too does the unbending mind snap. "I am the emperor, and you have been fooled." The words were a truth. Not in the normal sense, but in the ways that lies will become truths. Forged by the minds of fools, standing upon a pillar of good intentions and noble causes, a lie so deep it ingrained itself into the very minds of those that heard it. And in their minds, it was forged into truth, as each, protecting those feeble wills and goals that they had so long treasured, turned their blade to their allies. Driven by a single sentence, these warriors were turned to kill those around them. Fighting to protect the Lie which now existed within them, a truth they would hold and strengthen only to strengthen the illusion of righteousness, a mechanism to fend off the guilt of the slaughter that they had committed against their fellows. And, in that fantasy, even after Stein's departure, those that survived would devolve into madness.

Stein walked forward, observing the teleportation mechanism that had been built. Of course, he had already prepared his strategy, but it seemed there was another player in the game. He had not been responsible for the sabotage of this mechanism, and mentally he complimented the antagonist who had caused it. It had been subtle work, quite well concealed amid the standard teleportation sequences. Of course, he already knew just who had interfered, and although he might not know their names, already he knew them in a truer sense than that, beyond any mere surface knowledge. For he could peer into the very soul of man, and behold the profound darkness that welled within, the festering hate, the fear, the insanity that pushed against the edges of every human's mind. "You and I have business, whether you realize it or not, woman. However, if you do not mind, I will make my departure now. I have an appointment to make."

Being quite familiar with the same teleportation technology that was used by the Clone Empire, Stein was able to quite aptly remove the explosive sabotage that Minx had put in place. The explosion had not heavily damaged the machine, which of course was prepared for wartime scenarios and thus quite sturdy. It was built to directly send anyone using it to the homeworld, of course, but Stein had no issues with that. His preparation had been made, and still were expanding, this was simply the next step. The machine activated itself, as Stein was encased in a bright blue light, and then transported to whatever evacuation platform had been provided for the governors. His smile was absent, as he rushed to the nearest guard, panic written all over his place. "Sir, some kind of disease is rampant on Mezzuran! I had to use the teleporter to get out, the whole place has gone insane! Oh God they tried to kill me!"

As the teleporter began to wirr, it didn't activate. Something had stopped it from working...mayhap it was the explosive did more damage than stine first thought, or some other reason. In sort, the machine refused to function. Watching from afar, minx looked worried.
"Damn, he is good." She says, before concealing herself the best she could, and vanishing amoungst the chaos. However, after a spark and a click, he is sent to his destination.
"Sir, calm down." The guard says, as he walks over to the teleporter and shuts it down.
"A epidemic? You need to head for the medical wing. I'll escort you." He says, trying to lead stine off to a medical tent.

"Oh God, please don't let me become one of them. Those.... those THINGS. They were like monsters, my own daughter....." Stein pauses, his voice cracking as he simply trembles with the shock of the events he had been forced to go through. Or at least, that's how the guard would no doubt interpret it. Stein was quite a convincing actor when he needed to be, easily slipping into any role, including that of the shocked panic-stricken survivor. However, he shook his head as his character brought together his thoughts quickly. "I need to talk to the Clone Emperor. That disease was released on purpose. There were too many simultaneous breakouts for it to have been an accident. I have crucial data on how this all started, please. I'll take the tests afterwards." Just a tiny bit of extra punch was put in the words. A hint of panic that was instilled into the guard's mind, as he genuinely felt the safety of the empire was being threatened.

"Well, our epidemic center will deal with this. The emperor does not need bothered...he is...dealing with something important." He says. "He ordered no one bother him for a week..." The guard adds, as he attempts to lead stine, showing a supporting hand. He smiles sorta warmly. "I know how you feel...my daughter......she was killed when a mad man torched out house...the mad man was found...and I personally strung him up." He says, his voice getting a bit sad when he mentions his daughter.

Stein, of course, had plenty of time. His plans moved slowly, but surely. "This isn't a matter of a simple epidemic. If we don't act properly, this might happen on different planets. If the Emperor is gone, then who's in charge right now? If we don't make sure this stops, more people will lose their families." Stein spoke frantically, and yet within all he was was a cold calculation. He might not be able to get to the emperor, but for now, whomever was in charge was good enough. Somebody needed to run an empire this big, needed to make sure everything ran smoothly. There always needs to be a leader, and Stein would, of course, be as helpful as he could. He would be the assistant, the adviser, the small influences that would shift the fate of the empire, and, throught them, the entire universe.

"The emperor's hand is in charge.......If it is that important, I will lead you to their temple." The man says, as he motions for Stine to follow him. The guard felt sorry for stine, now knowing the ploy in place. He could guess the pain he felt. He leads stine out to his car, a hover craft that looked fairly expensive. He activated it, and motions for stine to sit in the passenger seat.

"Emperor Matthew?" Eclipse put away his weapons and raised a hand. He seemed to be smiling slightly. "I have to say, I'm impressed by your imperium's law. I am bound by justice, as is my nature, however... since this assassin did technically fail to commit any crime, may I, as the one assaulted, drop the charges?"

Of course, all those who speculated about what the ship's purpose was, as well as how much it would be worth, would have been far more surprised to find what secrets were hidden within.Through the busy streets walked a man. For that day, Hell walked through the streets.Men brawled in the streets, as prices were raised. The town was a warzone with a billion factions, a Hell dominated by the darkness, the passion and hate, the blood and soul of humankind.Grin affixed to his face, the man walked up the steps to the House of Government.

"It appears I have run out of cards to play..seems like I have no choice..." Michael thinks to himself as he finally makes his decision. "I must plead guilty, but I will say that I had no clue that the Angel was on a diplomatic move. My words may mean nothing, but as if this were a court of law, I solemnly swear to speak the truth and nothing but." He says, keeping his response brief, yet informal as possible.

Stein nods and sits down. The Emperor's Hand. Most likely a religious group by the sounds of it, the Clone Emperor was setting himself up as a religious leader. Either he set himself up as a God, or the chosen one of a God. Perhaps a pantheon of Gods. However, Stein carefully followed the movements of most Gods, and he was unaware of any Gods having moved to this area of the multiverse in the last hundred or so years. If there was any patron God to this empire it was either a relatively unknown God, which usually meant a weak God, or a quite old God which didn't show it's face much. Whichever turned out to be the case, this could pose an issue to Stein's plans if this God proved to be opposed to his.... ideas. Perhaps the best course of action would be elimination.
A light smile touched Mathew's lips, his eyes cold, as he looked down upon the angel and the fool. "Ignorance of the law is not immunity to the law. Simply because you did not know you were committing a crime does not in any way diminish the crime. While the charge of assault may be dropped, the charge of interference in diplomatic matters is a crime against the empire itself, and, thus, me." One of the Guardians was instantly beside Micheal, again using that form of instant transportation that could not be traced, as if they had simply willed themselves to exist in a different location. "The penalty for such interference is death. By righteous and just court of law, you would be sent to your death through assimilation. By will of the state, your body would be used for medical purposes after your demise, either as donation organs or as a test subject to aid in the development of medical science. Would you submit to such judgement?"

"Man, I hope the emperor's hand finds your info useful. Bothering them without need normally leads to a large fine." The guard says. "Personally, the hand has made some shotty choices while the emperor is gone." He adds, a bit angerly. They seem to run into traffic, meaning it would be a bit of time until they got to the hand.

Tsubaki sighs, before a loud banging is heard.
"Shit. You, chimera, follow me." She says, ordering creed to follow her as she rushes into another door.
