It is the year 3067, over 250 years ago the Star League fell and a state of near constant warfare began.
For over two centuries now humanity has waged near constant warfare upon itself.
The wars between the Great Houses has cost millions of lives, entire worlds were forgotten and technology forever lost.

Gone are those days of lost technology and instead a new age of advancement has begun.
37 years since the end of the Succession Wars and the resurgence of technology.
15 years since the end of the Clan invasion and a threat that had once unified the Inner Sphere is preparing to return once more.
1 year since the Allied Mercenary Command was formed due to fears of the growing power of the Word of Blake.
Mere months since the end of the Federated Commonwealth Civil War which brought low the greatest single power in the Inner Sphere since the Star League.

Throughout all this time some have stayed the same, despite losses of worlds and technology, despite apocalyptic wars, despite alien invaders cutting a bloody swathe across the realms of the Inner Sphere, and despite every attempt at peace the mercenary has been and always will be key on the battlefield so long as a lone battlemech still stands so will the mercenary.

It is 3067, the Jihad is rising in the Inner Sphere, you are the commander of a mercenary group that you founded, forged, bought, or otherwise gained the head of. It is your job to lead the men and women under your command through the flames of war and into wealth.

The story will be guided using high paying and high priority missions though there will be plenty of side jobs if you need to cool your heels for a bit.
Standard maintenance costs will be about 5% of the unit's cost every month though things such as clan equipment especially without clan technicians, omnimechs, customized equipment, and experimental equipment will likely increase costs.
Supplies such as ammunition and replacement parts can generally be purchased from an employer though this is not always the case such as if you are operating in the periphery and they will not have everything such as more advanced or rare components and prices for everything will fluctuate.

Start with 25,000,000 C-bills.
You can purchase pretty much anything you want though if you have something like Word of Blake technology I expect you to have a good reason in your history for how you got it.

If you see anything I missed go ahead and tell me, I am human afterall. I am also open to advice an recommendations if anyone has ideas.

I am without a doubt still accepting and was about to send you a PM.

It took me a second to realize the oddities I saw in your forces. One problem with megamek is it includes non-canon, apocryphal, and customized units as well. So if something is mentioned once incorrectly in a book such as a non-canon loadout for a mech due to a lack of fact checking the people of megamek will give it an off designation and include it or if some guy swapped some parts for whatever reason it will be listed there with a slight alteration to the designation as well. For example -UK and -TF units are made by mechfactory or techfactory respectively and are non-canon

For your Hunchback it is basically a 4G with some extra parts like a C3 Slave system you are not using anyway so just change it to a HBK-4G and you even save some cash that way.

Your Centurion is a model from the MechComannder series that is rather apocryphal but as you state your character was on Solaris so it was not uncommon to customize their mechs. The problem is your mech uses an endo-steel chassis which is not something you can just swap in, the D series uses endo-steel but it also uses an XL engine so if you want we can work on you utilizing a customized mech but keep in mind customized mechs mean those mechs will have increased upkeep costs.

You appear to have paid extra for a few units as well, units come fully loaded and you do not have to pay signing fees for pilots at the start if that is where you got some of your cost from.

The Condor goes 129 KPH same for the Saladin

Thanks, I will adjust the speeds now. On that note, I feel like the speeds for most of those medium mechs are a little low, as it seems more like a heavy mech speed. Might be too much MWO for that though. The Condors and the Centurion have some extra tacked on them for the increased weapon loadout, where I just added the difference in cost between the base and the upgrade to the cost, i.e. Sarna's difference between a medium laser and ER medium laser got tacked on to the cost.

If I don't need to do that, please let me know, I'ld love to save that cash. I am also fine with having one heavily customized mech in the Centurion. LRM 5s are close enough in weight to switch out for a Streak and some armor so that was the other thought for the customization. I really wanted to play with a IIC for customization, but they were too expensive, and I got lazy with the load outs. I didn't know the TF and UK designation bit, but I am aware that it wasn't a standard loadout and let the Solaris history allow me to have one fun thing to play with. I am also fine with the increased upkeep, which is also why an elite mech tech is on the non-combat roster. I will switch the hunchback designation, as it's both cheaper and I missed the C3 addition. I thought it was extra armor.

Well, for your BJ-3 you have 3,952,375 listed but on my megamek I see 3,592,375 listed as it's cost.

For your Trebuchet TBT-5N you have 4,373,500 listed but agan my megamek shows 4,293,500

With those clan weapon additions keep in mind replacing weapons with clan weapons mean jury-rigging them on for extra upkeep and you will not exactly find it easy to replace losses. To think of it in modern terms imagine taking an Abrams and replacing it's gun with a Russian gun. Even if they are the same caliber almost nothing will line up right to try and keep the systems together so you are going to be doing things like drilling new holes to keep the gun in the turret and shaving down places on the turret to make it all work.

The Centurion we can go with it being a CN9-D variant you tore the XL engine out of

The BJ-3 was a typo, it was right in my spreadsheet. I also fixed the Trebuchet cost, as I was contemplating adding other stuff to it, and never undid the extra costs. The only issue with that CN9-D variant is close to 10 mil in C-bills in megamek. I am now on the fence for the clan weapons, and now want some clan mechs to use that better tech. Other than the Centurion, is anything else an issue?

THe CN9-D costs come from the XL engine added, if you have skunkworks it is a program that lets you customize mechs or you could base it off the CN9-A series which lacks endosteel so you will have slightly reduced firepower.

I do not believe I saw any other issues.

I downloaded Skunkwerks and went ahead to build a CN9-D variant. I switched out the XL 300 for a Std 200 engine and added the UAC instead of the AC/10. I will save grabbing clan gear once I can buy a few clan mechs. Other than that, I haven't changed anything, so I will start my opening post soon. On another note, how exactly are we going to game this all out?

What do you mean how we will game this out? If you are talking about combat just RP it out as you would a normal RP.

Desert Zephyr which contract do you plan to pick up?

I am thinking Davion. My character already has sympathies there, and the straight pay is higher. I do need to do a coin flip for which area I shall be in though.

You would be placed in one of the 2 secondary regiments of mercs. Basically you would be behind the lines and respond to the strongest enemy pushes by rushing to the area to reinforce.
