I did a thing really fast, some of the logic might not all be there
BiographyName(Collimere Sentison) Colm Brandt
Age27 - Late teen
RaceInvic
A race which, most of the time, appears as human. The true Invican form at times appears, but no one knows how or why (See second picture). A long lived race, the eldest of them have reached four centuries. On average, two hundred years is considered a good life.
The race places heavy emphasis on improving the world and preserving balance. Each and every newborn is trained in a variety of arts and skills before they are sent into the world to do good. For most of an Invic's long life, they serve as peacekeepers and leaders in the outside world, sometimes settling down with a different race, or sometimes returning home to mate with another Invic.
Interestingly enough, while Invic rarely produce children, and child born of an Invic will be an Invic.

AppearanceHere he isHere he is, less normalHomelandThe thick forests west of Renalta. Hidden within in the Invican tribe. The tribe moves every hundred years, but one place has remained sacred and immobile: the Marble Hall. Inscribed there are the names of every Invic who has outshone all his peers. All Invican children are trained and instructed at the Hall.
HistoryInvican traditions are always a harsh pedestal to be placed on. Colm never understood why his father (Sentinus) placed such heavy emphasis on study, practice, and training. As far as Colm remembers, he was trapped in a forest with a bunch of serious folk for almost three decades. He eagerly awaited his chance to go out and see the world, in all its fiendish misery.
He always had a certain penchant for magic. Even if he wasn't particularly powerful, he could conjure sparks or smoke. He liked manipulating the world. His father never really appreciated his abilities, since most of the time Invics drained magic instead of producing it. This disconnect with everyone else led to Colm requesting to leave the Marble Hall.
To his surprise, they agreed. Colm was given a suit of armor and a sword and sent on his merry way. Of course, Colm had never liked fighting. In his sparring sessions he would always find ways to dodge the actual swordplay. Once he stole his master's sword and buried it. Another time he managed to convince his master that the Hall had caught fire.
Fighting was the last thing on his mind, and, perhaps ironically, he began to fight that way. Smarter, not harder.
He wasn't particularly powerful with his magic, but his mind was sharper than any sword he could have been given. He put that to good use, using elaborate schemes and his wits to terrify his opponents into submission. He couldn't
really breathe fire, but a combination of tubes, flammable gas, and his own magic let him seem like he could. Mind reading, illusions, pyromancy, mentalism: Colm used the magic he had to show the world the magic he hadn't.
All along the way, however, he tried to do good. That was what was would make his people proud, make his father proud.
MotivationTo make his people proud, and maybe get his name inscribed in the Marble Hall. And have some fun along the way.
Traits and EquipmentGeneral--Raw Talent
--Fortitude
--Stealthy
Unique-As an Invic, Colm was born with the same ability of all his people: the drain. In simple terms, while there's magic in the area, a small portion of that magic is siphoned off for him. Sometimes it is dispersed into nature, sometimes his body uses it to heal minor cuts and scratches, and sometimes it soothes his body, increasing the stamina and strength of his slow twitch muscles (basically he can carry more weight and lift heavier things). More and more frequently, however, Colm has been using this magic flow as a reservoir for his own magic.
-Each Invic manifests a different trait as they approach adulthood at age 30. In Colm's case, his physical senses magnify significantly when a magical source is nearby. Sight, smell, taste, touch, hearing, and balance.
Basically, unless there's magic around, Colm is as normal as the average human.EquipmentPersonalRomanceYes. I do like romance.
