okay lets see if I did all the hiders and shit right...

Name: Elizabeth “Ellie”

Age: 22

Appearance:

Race: Human

Skills:

Primary: Sneak, Lockpick.
Secondary: Medicine

Perks:
Animal friend: A natural affinity for animals. Unless she actively provokes them, wild animals don’t attack her, and she can calm them down if they’re pissed off at someone else.
The Three Rivers’ immunity: Life in the Pitt, albeit no longer as brutal as it was in the times before Lord Ashur and during the early years of his rule, is not easy. Those who are born and raised in the Pitt, with all of its toxins and the radiation, develop an extremely hardy immune system. The children of the Pitt have an increased resistance to radiation, disease, and toxins.

Equipment:

Bio: Born and raised in the Pitt, the girl’s life wasn’t the easiest. She was born shortly before the worker uprising so she was too young to actually remember the second most important incident in the Pitt, all she remembers was growing up in the improvised “orphanage” that had been set up on the lowest floor of Haven for those children orphaned by the uprising. Ashur, to show “forgiveness” to his workers, didn’t show any favor with the children and both the children of workers and soldiers who died during the uprising were showed neither favor nor distaste. These children were among the first to receive the Trog cure when it was finally finished.

The children spent their early lives in the orphanage, being cared for by Ashur’s wife herself, keeping them under close surveillance for any reactions to the “cure” to see if there were any unwanted side effects. When they reached their teen years they were given their own personal quarters in Haven and put to work. Ellie, after growing close to Marie Ashur over the years, was allowed to shadow Sandra and assist with her work. She started out doing little more than recording notes and passing tools, but quickly worked up to actually learning how to be a doctor by the time she turned eighteen. She would frequently sneak out of the Haven at night, traversing the walls and making her way across the bridge to the lands on the other side. In an attempt to refine her skills, she’d practice on the Brahmin and other creatures that arrived with the new settlers.

Of course, by the time she turned eighteen, she began to grow tired of being surrounded by steel and wanted to see the rest of the world on the other side of the rivers. You could only reattach so many parts after industrial accidents before needing a change. When she heard of the newly discovered city to the north, she quickly volunteered to join the scouting party that went up to investigate this place known as Nyss.
-insert super-secret details-
Now bitten by the bug of exploration, just staying within the walls of the Pitt wasn’t enough for her. Ellie wanted to travel and see the rest of the country that she had only ever read stories about. So naturally, when Ashur was looking for volunteers to find out more about the magna rails, she hastily volunteered and spent the next year with her assigned partner from Nyss crossing the span of the country. Finally arriving in the city of New Vegas, they caught wind of a group that was looking to restore the rails… so, naturally, they had to investigate…

Just like stocks, there's a point where you need to figure out when to go. Do you wait for a bit for new profit? What happens if there's a sudden downturn from the peak? You need to judge where an acceptable peak is. It's a bit like gambling.

Of course, unlike stocks, one can jump on the train anytime after the RP starts. It's not immediately closed, as I think OP has clearly stated.

Well, I couldn't get anyone to take on Scrappy as a pet last night but I stand by the idea. The lummox has proven stable enough to deal with humans when necessary (i.e. Barter is his secondary skill and how he manages to sell off his created weapons for more junk to build more weapons to sell for more junk to build more weapons.) Between a history of passable interaction with the Wasteland and his natural expertise at recon, I don't think would be too outlandish if Tenpenny had come across the oddity himself and thought it useful. No doubt the traders who have dealt with the comically dressed Nightkin would remember the incident and with Tenpenny A. moving caravans through the Wasteland anyway and B. having just spent a large bit of time and money finding old world tech to get the rail mechanism working he no doubt would have use for someone who can not only help recoup those losses financially but also search for more tech for the low low price of a tin can and a toaster. As long as the proper precautions are taken and there's enough stealthboys to go around, Tenpenny stands to make a very large profit here.

My answer as to why Tenpenny would allow a Nightkin in his expedition is simply because he's the one who put him there.

I really like Ellie, can you tell me more? I assume she picked up her stealth skills from Nyss? Or was she just a troublemaker in the orphanage? :p If that part is spoilerish to the Nyss storyline or similar I understand, just curious. Also, did the Animal Friend perk evolve out of her time as a doctor? Like, is it her nurturing nature that brought that about or has it just always been? I never played the Pitt DLC but I know a bit, are there like wild dogs running around there or just troggs everywhere? Do troggs count as animals?

Oh, I'm sorry, I didn't mean to call you out on it! Like I said, I just thought they were just secret stuff or stuff from the DLC :p

EDIT: In one of the other RPs I'm in I wanted to keep stuff hidden in the CS so I sent that part to the GM in a PM; all those acronyms might work well for you as well if you'd rather us find out later but still get the full story approved.

Oh no, it's no problem lol, I seriously forgot to add the bit I had in my head. I had too many ideas bouncing around and some bits and pieces broke off and got lost >.>

I had been bouncing between street orphan stealing to survive, to being a guinea pig for the cure... and... yea... kinda went through the middle ground.

added the bit at the end of the second paragraph of the bio... kinda did a shitty job of it but.. bleh... at least the question is answered

Bad news.

I thought it would be easier for me to join an RP rather than create one, but when things start speeding up too fast, I lose my focus, and all my ideas start spilling out and I'm unable to get them back.

I won't be joining, and I'm honestly really disappointed in myself for announcing this. I'm still too disorganized, and one of my buddies might be giving me voice acting work any time now. Nonetheless, I wish you all a wonderful RP, and may the water you find not shine at you in the dark.

Greatly interested,

Wondering just what the current relations between the BoS and NCR are. Are they at the uneasy peace and help at Hoover Damn, or did they possibly assault helos 1 and moved out of the area.

Also, what happened to Ceaser's Legion?

Josh, house won the battle for the dam.. so the courier would have had to side with him, and House makes the courier destroy the BoS bunker

u got a point there, its like an stock , and seeing that this IC phase is just a character introduction i must retract from mi words, i actually thought that it was going to start the main quest

and i see there are few who had chosed stealth like mi character, wich is mainly a scout only versed in stealth, we would make a great infiltration group

well certainly things are not so speeded as it seems, the ic phase is just for character introduction after they got to the lucky38, like the first steps, it may take a while to start the main quest ( i really dont know )

mojave chapter of bos is destroyed, the legion does no exist, neither utobitha state, as caesar was the only thing that keeped it united and he died just after the battle of hoover dam from cancer, so the remaining bits of the legion, under the command of legate lanius done an all or nothing and atacked hoover dam, as they failed, the canon is that the legion is no more, or is in a terrible civil war, wich will surely not survive, its funny that you mentioned it, since my character came from the legion

that seems the reasonable thing, to start it with the narrator or at least the main character as a narrator

Pup, you're golden

Marcus, I'm running this as an advanced casual story, so grammar, spelling, and structure are important. I'd need to see a reworked sign up before I could let you join. I'm sorry =(
