Bio: Born and raised in the Pitt, the girl’s life wasn’t the easiest. She was born shortly before the worker uprising so she was too young to actually remember the second most important incident in the Pitt, all she remembers was growing up in the improvised “orphanage” that had been set up on the lowest floor of Haven for those children orphaned by the uprising. Ashur, to show “forgiveness” to his workers, didn’t show any favor with the children and both the children of workers and soldiers who died during the uprising were showed neither favor nor distaste. These children were among the first to receive the Trog cure when it was finally finished.
The children spent their early lives in the orphanage, being cared for by Ashur’s wife herself, keeping them under close surveillance for any reactions to the “cure” to see if there were any unwanted side effects. When they reached their teen years they were given their own personal quarters in Haven and put to work. Ellie, after growing close to Marie Ashur over the years, was allowed to shadow Sandra and assist with her work. She started out doing little more than recording notes and passing tools, but quickly worked up to actually learning how to be a doctor by the time she turned eighteen. She would frequently sneak out of the Haven at night, traversing the walls and making her way across the bridge to the lands on the other side. In an attempt to refine her skills, she’d practice on the Brahmin and other creatures that arrived with the new settlers.
Of course, by the time she turned eighteen, she began to grow tired of being surrounded by steel and wanted to see the rest of the world on the other side of the rivers. You could only reattach so many parts after industrial accidents before needing a change. When she heard of the newly discovered city to the north, she quickly volunteered to join the scouting party that went up to investigate this place known as Nyss.
-insert super-secret details-
Now bitten by the bug of exploration, just staying within the walls of the Pitt wasn’t enough for her. Ellie wanted to travel and see the rest of the country that she had only ever read stories about. So naturally, when Ashur was looking for volunteers to find out more about the magna rails, she hastily volunteered and spent the next year with her assigned partner from Nyss crossing the span of the country. Finally arriving in the city of New Vegas, they caught wind of a group that was looking to restore the rails… so, naturally, they had to investigate…
