There she stood, hand out in a butt cupping position.

"The robotic bastard sensed me coming and moved out of the way to make me seem like a fool." she assumed, looking from where the voice had came from, "Um... May I help you?" he asked, and Evangeline went into a small panic. Quickly she closed one of her eyes and dropped to her knees, her hand searching frantically along the floor. "I just - " she started loudly, "I just lost my contact!" she laughed nervously, before picking up the imaginary contact and placing it in her eye.

Real smooth Evangeline.

"I found it. no worries!" she called, moving her hand in a dismissing manner to the boy, and to any of the people's who glared at the loud and unfortunate girl. "So what does it take for a girl to get some dru- lolipops around here, am I right?" she asked nervously, looking around from face to face of the people.

Alois stifled his chuckles, refraining to burst out in laughter at the spectacular performance. What a way to start off at a new academy! a figurative tear leaked out from the corner of his eye as he bit his lip and smiled. Twiddling his thumbs, he took one look around at the circle of students around them as they watched in an awkward state. Feeling sort-of sorry for the girl, he decided to play along.

"Aha! Right, right you are. In fact, I'm still waiting for mine." Alois winked at her and held his hand out towards the candy-dealer.

"So what does it take for a girl to get some dru- lolipops around here, am I right?"

Oh good god, that was a terrible failure.

First off, contact lenses don't come out easily, unless you rub your eyes a lot. The girl didn't look like she was even trying to rub her eyes before,. She didn't look like she was messing with her eyes at all, so they wouldn't have fallen out. Then, her last line, 'So what does it take for a girl to get some dru- lolipops around here, am I right?', well, first, she started saying drugs before she switched to lolipop, that much was obvious. Then, she said that last line very nervously, as it's easy to figure out a nervous tone, usually. So, she failed.

Tyler was surprised when Jeremy touched the back of his neck, eyes widening as he instinctively flinched away. This group of people sure is friendly, he thought while rubbing the back of his neck with one hand and accepting the second lollipop with the other. He nodded his head in thanks, not able to find the words to do so with. He settled back in his chair, eyes cast down to the lollipop in his hands as he finished sucking on what was left of the first one he had received. He listened as everyone talked around him, the all-too-familiar waves of anxiety hitting him again.

Evan accepting Jeremy's candy with warm grin, then made sure to introduce himself to everyone else in the group. He doubted he would be able to remember most of their names come tomorrow, but it was good to be making friends so early in the school year. It's hard to imagine that this large group of people had come together simply because he had complimented Alyssa on her hat. He chuckled at the thought and turned to Alyssa, expecting to continue their conversation, only to find she had turned back around.

He leaned over the chair beside her. "Trying to escape the conversation, huh?" he asked with a soft laugh. "And it'd be nice of you to come see me in a play, but it'd be even better to be in a play with you, whatever your acting ability may be. Maybe even a musical, where you can show off your dancing skills." He heard some ruckus about a lost contact going on behind him and turned around, but it the issue seemed to have been resolved. His eyes lingered on Tyler for a moment, who caught his gaze. Evan sent him a look that seemed to say "You alright?". Tyler replied with a small nod, and while Evan wasn't convinced, he turned around anyway to continue talking with Alyssa.

Alright? Sure, Tyler was alright. He didn't need Evan worrying about him, though he was sure to do it anyway. Alright? The word bounced around in Tyler's head as he quickly glanced at the group of students around him, careful to avoid eye contact with anyone. He was alright. The nervous storm in his stomach was acting up again, he felt miserably claustrophobic with all the people around him, and he felt as if he were drowning in all the noise of the conversations going on around him, but he was alright. That's what he told himself as he shrunk down in his seat, trying to make himself seem smaller in the midst of the chaotic auditorium. It wasn't as if he could go anywhere to relax. The principal could start speaking any minute now. He sighed and rested his head in his hands, closing his eyes and trying to find the piano's melody underneath the chatter of students.

Alex glanced to his right seeing this awkward scene unfolding. He felt a small smirk creep across his face. "well at least funny things like that can happen around here" He thought to himself. He then turned his face back toward the principle wondering when this was going to be over so he could get to class already.

Alyssa yawned a little now spotting more people going into their little group, which made her mpre nervous because she didn't really know these people, and she wasn't good at speaking in large groups but she could try. They all seem nice and like a good friend would be. A small soft laugh escaped her mouth, seeing that she laughed over the conversation that was happening behind her. Alyssa pushed her blonde hair to her right shoulder, now crossing her arms and looking around bitting her bottom lips, bored.

"And it'd be nice of you to come see me in a play, but it'd be even better to be in a play with you, whatever your acting ability may be. Maybe even a musical, where you can show off your dancing skills."

Alyssa heard a voice as she turned her head and saw Evan leaning on the chair next to her,she turned her face so hard that a string of her blonde her could've hit his eye. "Sorry...." now cuffing that string of her hair behind her ear. As she spoke now giving him a small smile. "Ummm... really? You want us to be in a play together? Hah. Sure, I could do that. But if you laugh at my acting. I am so going to laugh at you, if you dance. I am not that bad of an actress, psh. I can act....." she said nervously. "I think.." she thought to herself now looking back at Evan smiling at him. Now directly making eye contact, her light grey eyes staring into his.

Patrick opened his eyes from his music trance to see one of the funniest introductions a girl has ever done to a guy. She planted her head right into his behind, hilarious! Pat let out a laugh, she was definitely smooth, especially her explanation. Having worn contacts before, and wearing them, he knew that they rarely fell out. When they did, it hurt very much, and his offending eyes would stay to tear up. Her eyes were doing none of that, smell bullshit? Patty noticed that a group was forming in the back of Section A. The principal and teachers didn't seem to care. Harren decide that he was going to have to be around them the whole year. He might as well try and make some friends....

Patrick sighed, "friends are such a drag though," (had to). Nonetheless, he got out of his seat and lowered his headphones around his neck. He strided over to the group. "You guys seem like you're having a hell of a time. Headbutting people's butts and having some lollipops," he said this in a joking, light-hearted tone. Pat even smiled, then he looked at the guy who was handin out candy, "mind if I snag one?" Harren loved candy, almost as much as sleeping. Pat shifted his guitar case. It held his ukulele, and had space left for a few school supplies. Patrick almost forgot to introduce himself. "Oh and by the way, I'm Patrick, you can call me Pat if you want.... Doesn't matter."

With a quick press and the slight sound of a *beep* from her phone,Maiko stepped down from the bus,pulling her trolley bag behind her and fixing her back-pack properly on her shoulders. She pushed down her headphones with music still playing behind her neck and scanned the building from top to bottom.
"So....this is it,huh? Pretty huge." She mumbled to herself with a bit of anxiety and excitement swarming around her.
Taking a deep breath,she made her way inside the building.

The hallway seemed empty and quiet as Maiko followed wherever it led her....but she wasn't all completely alone.
A boy with blonde hair was walking paces ahead of her with his trolley bag.
She thought it'd be a bother to call out his name and make it echo through the hallway,so she stayed silent and followed wherever he went,until suddenly......

"Paging Hisakawa Masaru, Alois Francis Jeon, and Maiko Nozomi, please head to the principal’s office after the morning assembly to find out which class you’re assigned to. Thank you.”

Maiko flinched as she heard her name echo from the speakers.
"Wh-What's wrong? Did I come late?" She asked herself,slightly shivering with fear.
The boy also halted and looked up at the speakers,....and continued to walk,suddenly making his pace more faster.
Eyebrows flicked in surprise,Maiko didn't mind the announcement and just continued to follow the boy with curiosity filling her thoughts.Was his name called out too? Who is he?

Maiko stood to a halt when she saw the boy push open a door and entered inside. Maiko carefully made her way to where the boy stood.Even from the outside of the huge wooden door,loud echoes of voices could be heard from the inside of it. "Ahh so this is where the others are." She thought as she slowly opened the door and peered her head inside.
Young people who seemed her age were divided into groups. Maiko looked around,frantically searching for the blonde boy...and there he was,sitting next to a group,continuously laughing out loud together.

"This seems to be the right place...right?" Maiko asked herself,doubtfully.
She pushed her whole body inside the room,pulling in her trolley bag behind her before she could close the door.
She turned her head left to right to find an empty spot in which she did,a few seats behind where the blonde boy sat.A sigh of relief escaped from Maiko's lungs as she sat comfortably down her seat and buried her head beneath her folded arms.
After a few minutes of relaxation from a long journey to her finally reached destination,Maiko remembered the earlier announcement in where her name and a few others were mentioned to go to the principal's office.
"Well I'm gonna need a guide to go there then!" Excusing herself from standing from her seat as she popped on her headphones and listened to music,burying her head back into her folded arms and closed her eyes,sleepily.

Evangeline almost choked, as the new guy who approached mentioned headbutting butts. " I didn't head butt it I just sorta ran into it!" she exclaimed, placing her hand over her mouth. "Oh no.." she thought, "They have learned my secret, now they will have known I didn't lose my contact, and they will know that I tried to cop a feel after the fact." she wiggled a little, moving from foot to foot, and tugging on the bottom of her uniform that was disheveled as ever.

"I'm Evangeline by the way." she added in after Patrick, considering it was probably a good time to say that, after all that had just happened. "Most people call me Eva, or E, but any of the three is just fine." she nodded, giving a small and friendly wave to all the people that were formed in the group.

Iris decided she needed to get up and walk around. She stood up and headed towards the back of the room. As she neared the group of chattering kids her foot collided with a chair leg. Iris tripped.... spectacularly. She face planted into the floor. Not a great first impression. Nova sat up rubbing her nose. That had hurt. Man, being blind had its disadvantages, like being prone to tripping.

Conner finally managed to stop snickering long enough to notice Iris trip. She got up by herself, but he still walked over to make sure she was okay; he lived in a house with a bunch of little kids running around, so beyond any innate kindness he also felt like he was obligated to deal with other people's clumsiness. He hadn't yet realized that she was blind.

"Oh boy, that was a nasty trip, are you okay?" He offered her a hand.

"Hey there everyone! The name's Alois, but you can call me Al. I'm hoping to get along well with all of you."
"May I have a lollipop?"

Jeremy turns around and sees a blonde student, waving and also saying "Hey! I am Jeremy Irineo, Section A. Yeah sure, lollipops all around, quickly tossing him one"

"Hi, I'm Conner Reinsberg...I guess I'm in group A, are any of you guys in my class?"
said a guy with really long hair with teal blue tinges, "Yeah, I am, haha, take care of me!" Jeremy replies as he grins.
Then almost out of the blue he sees this girl with really nice green hair touch Alois' butt, and then seeing her get flustered and embarrassed made Jeremy cover his mouth and do a light giggle "Did she really think no one saw her?" he though to himself. "Um... May I help you?" said Alois which made the situation funnier for Jeremy and almost laughed out loud but stopped at the last second. "This years gonna be fun too" Jeremy thought and then she makes an excuse that she lost her contacts which made Jeremy lose it and he started laughing.

"So what does it take for a girl to get some dru- lolipops around here, am I right?"
"You guys are a riot" Jeremy said outloud while quickly tossing another lollipop to her.
Glancing over to Tyler, who seems to be fully panicked and kept his head on his hands, Jeremy tried to cheer him up and leans down and whispers to him, "Don't worry, these people are really friendly Tyler, they're pretty nice! I am sure you'd get along with everyone." and then patted his back.

Looking back, Jeremy wondered when the group did get bigger but shrugged and simply though "The more the merrier, haha." Glancing over to Evan and Alyssa, who seemed to have alot of chemistry together, "They look good together, nice." he thought nodding hid head lightly. Then he sees Alyssa use her hair to whip his eyes which made Jeremy laugh lightly then someone suddenly says,
"You guys seem like you're having a hell of a time. Headbutting people's butts and having some lollipops,"
he hears a red headed student say, and also laughs at his comment then he looks at Jeremy mind if i snag one?
"Everyone wants the lollipop now, haha" he replied and then also tossing him one. "Oh and by the way, I'm Patrick, you can call me Pat if you want.... Doesn't matter."
"Yo, I am Jeremy Irineo, Section A." he replies while also noting that the group grows ever larger. "Most people call me Eva, or E, but any of the three is just fine." while waving.

Then he sees a girl face plant for colliding into a chair, then he sees Connor help her up "You alright?" he shouts after both of them. "Would Lollipops make it feel better?" he asked both of them.

"I'm okay, just tripped" Iris said as she stood up. The guy probably extended his hand but she wasn't sure and was not going to take the risk of getting it wrong. Iris brushed off her uniform," I'm Iris Zero, group B. Nice to meet you," she said in the general direction of people.

Alois gladly caught the lollipop mid-air, unwrapped it and popped it into his mouth. He smiled at Jeremy. "Thanks man, hope you don't mind me popping up every now and then to ask for more!" he exclaims, holding up a thumbs-up.

His smile never faltered as he watched Jeremy hand out lollipops to the newer-newcomers. A little more than amused, Alois scans the auditorium once again and notices a pair who seemed to have hit it off instantly. Smirking, the boy cycled his head around just in time to catch a glimpse of a young girl who faceplanted the floor with a loud thud.

Oh, crap... Frantically, Alois stood up and pushed his chair back with a loud screech.

"Are you okay?!"

Simultaneously, a boy from across him stood up as well to help her up. Alois eases back into his seat and watches them.

Leaning his head back in relief, he notices a red-head girl who he had not seen until after he arrived. She had her head buried in her arms, so she probably must've wanted to be left alone. Sighing, he mentally notes down to say "hello" to her once morning assembly was over. He focuses his attention back on the loud circle.

"I'm in Section A as well!" Evangeline chirped along with a few of the others. "Perhaps if I just laugh along they will continue to forget my incident all together." Eva thought to herself, laughing (ironically) like a robot. Her laughing stopped when a lollipop was tossed her way in almost slow motion.

The sound of the auditorium became silent in Evangeline's head, the lollipop soared like the grace of a released dove. The piano music reuniting the two lovers at last. "My sweet beloved drugs." she cooed as it landed most delicately into the palm of her hand. She grasped the stick gently, putting it up to eye level to read the flavor.

Suddenly the sound of the auditorium came back in full force. Causing Evangeline to grit her teeth. "Why out of all things does it have to be grape?" she cursed, the flavor might have well been butt hole flavored. "This better give me the biggest high in my life." she mumbled, shoving the candy into her pocket for later. She had to give it to all these people, selling drugs and taking drugs right in front of the principal's eyes. Perhaps, he encouraged it. Robots are weird that way.

The sound of skin hitting the floor took Evangeline from her thoughts as she looked to the way of the woman who fell face first. "Ouch, I hope she's okay!" she commented, into the group, watching as a few of her classmates helped the poor girl up. She seemed alright, a little flustered if anything. Evangeline waved to the girl with friendly grin, not knowing Iris could not see her.

Allen was sitting next to the window, looking out as the sun rose. Azure was leaning against his shoulder, dozing as they rode along. They had woken up early in order to take the bus to school. Their mother had been passed out on the couch, a few bottles resting on the floor beside her. Allen had gently covered her with a blanket before they left. Seeing as they didn't own a car the twins were forced to take the bus. Allen noticed the scenery change and he straightened slightly as the school came into view. He gently shook his sister's shoulder and pointed. She blinked her eyes open, rubbing them slightly before she smiled and looked at her brother. "Ready to do this?" She asked him. As ready as I'll ever be. He signed to her with a small smile.

She stood and he followed after her as the bus stopped about a block from the school. They gathered their things and started out, the sun hidden by the buildings. They reached the school in about five minutes and stepped through the gates. Allen observed the students waving happily at their parents and he turned away with a pang, following his sister as they walked to the doors. They handed their luggage off to student staff and went inside.

They listened to the principals voice then did as instructed as they made their way to the main hall. Azure and Allen shared a look, clasped hands and struggled through the crowd to reach the notice board. After a few moments of struggle they eventually reached it and quickly scanned their eyes over it so they could get out of the crowd. Allen's eyes widened when he saw they were in separate sections and he looked at his sister. They had never been separated before. Ever. She gave him a weak smile as she tugged him out of the crowd and towards the auditorium. "It will be okay. We'll manage. We've always done it before." She told her brother softly. He nodded as they stepped inside the auditorium, cool air washing over them.

They stayed in the back, the soft piano music drifting around them. They watched as a man ascended to the stage, the twins watching as he spoke to them to take their seats. Seeing as they already had, they waited for the man to begin speaking. The auditorium was loud and they could see students greeting each other and chatting but the twins remained to themselves, quietly signing to each other.

Conner put his hands on his hips and gave Iris a sideways glance. He was just a little bit put off by her strange reaction and being given the cold shoulder, but declined to say anything about it. In some ways it was actually better then having her gush over him, he'd gone through that before with girls and it never ended well. Still, he couldn't help but wonder if there was something that he wasn't picking up on.

The guy from before was still shouting something about his lollipops, so he looked up to see what was going on with that. "Sure, why not?" He grinned cheekily. "I hope they aren't...questionable or anything."

Masaru calmly sat down on a chair in the auditorium, but he was anything but calm. Masaru was freaking out due too two reasons. One, he had absolutely no idea what he was doing, and two, he brought a backpack.

I... I brought... I brought a backpack... Masaru silently sobbed in his head as he rolled his hands into fists. I don't... I don't even know where I'm supposed to be going... where... where do I go? I'm going to embarrass myself, aren't I? Aren't I? It didn't help the fact that this school was just plain weird, there was a lollipop dealer. A lollipop dealer. And while Masaru did want to ask for one to brighten up his day, he couldn't bring himself to ask for one, especially with such a horrible thing such as a backpack on.

Mina quietly sat in her chair, hands folded neatly on her lap. She sat there - all zen-like, forcing herself not to eavesdrop from the group just a few seats behind her. From what she had heard, they seemed nice and somewhat unique. Oh, she just wanted to spring up and introduce herself to them. She wanted to hug the lollipop drug dealer and rob him of his goods. She wanted to tell them she liked to doodle and was hoping for someone to teach her how to actually paint and sculpt.

Meh.

The girl stretched her neck, sniffling before taking a look at the person to her left. The person was an Asian male, who had a look of worry crossed on his face. His hands were rolled into fists - was he angry? Okayyy. Still, this person wasn't talking. She wasn't talking. It was time to talk. With her mind set, Mina pulled down her rainbow colored bobble hat to her eyebrows and turned towards him.

"Hi," she began, her eyes scanning over him. "Nice backpack," she then awkwardly said, trying to compliment him. "I - uh. I'm Mina."

Morning Assembly
As the piano came to a stop, the principal cleared his throat; urging everyone to settle down and listen. “Welcome students of Saitou Academy. I apologize for the delay. Last minute preparations were being made.” He was a man who stood at an average height, black haired, and looked to be around his fifties. “I am principal Takashi Saitou, and I am also the founder of this school.” He introduced. “Now before I talk about what we have prepared for all of you, I would like to show you around the school. I considered taking you around but that would take too much time, and the last thing I want would be for you to be tired.” He chuckled lightly. He was holding a remote control in one hand, and the microphone in the other. After pressing the power button, the two large screens in front sprung to life.

“For now, I’d like to familiarize you with the places. This way, you wouldn’t have to rely on maps and signs.” With another click, images started to show up on the screen. “First and foremost, I would like to show you your dorms. Each room is big enough to have a living room and a kitchen. In this school, we not only want to teach you academic lessons, but we want to you to learn how to take care of yourselves which comes along with responsibility. In other words, all of you will have to learn how to cook your own breakfast. As for dinner, you are allowed to go to the cafeteria or you can leave the school premises and go to a restaurant of your choice. But you have to be back in the dorms before eight.” The images on the screen switched and showed a picture of a balcony that overlooked the city, “Each dorm will have a door that leads to a balcony. Each gives you a good view of the city.”

The morning assembly went on with the principal showing images of the school. From dorms, infirmary, club rooms, classrooms, garden, library, swimming pool, cafeteria, and other places. It took approximately fifteen minutes for the the slide-show to end. As the screens were switched off, the principal stepped forward and scanned the auditorium.

“Now for the preparations.. To give all of you a warm welcome, we have prepared a fireworks show for all of you. It will start at eight this evening. You are free to watch it from your balconies, however, we will leave the door to the rooftop open in case any of you preferred to watch it there. Once again, welcome, and I hope for a good school year.”
There was a round of applause as the principal finished his speech. He got down the stage and handed the microphone over to the girl who played the piano.

Introduction - Student council president
As the girl got up on stage, she bowed her head before speaking, “Good morning fellow students. My name is Hatsumi Kawamura of section C. I am the student council president, please free to approach me if you need anything. For now, please head to your classrooms and wait for your teachers to arrive. Thank you.” She bowed once more before getting off the stage and heading for her own class.
