Once there were two factions, the Autobots and Decepticon who came crashing to earth on the vessels known as the Ark (Autobot) and Nemesis (Decepticon). It was not until 1985 both side became active and began to tear each other a new one. There planet (Cybertron) is now in the neutral zone and earth is the new battlefield for both sides. This battle had been going on for eons and it looked like it would continue onwards. Several events happened and many perished and returned but in the end Optimus Prime, Megatron, Bluestreak, Starscream, Ironhide and the rest had been killed off. Megatron and Optimus killing each other at the same time and were the last standing.

With all dead the matrix sat unused for 30 years. But this was not the end as another two ships came racing to get the matrix first. Unlike the Ark and Nemesis they did not crash and become inactive, instead they were tearing at each other’s throats to claim the lost matrix. By this point the humans had the matrix hidden somewhere but it won’t be long until they find it and hell breaks out if the Decepticons get to it first. Both need it to survive and but both have different reasons for wanting it.

While both sides are turning each other into scrap metal another threat is incoming for the Autobots. One thought to have been removed from existences already. It would come but when was still a mystery but they knew it was coming? I also have a few other ideas that I can work into it but for now we will deal with what I put.

Other: It is in an alternative time line because why the fuck not, I was not born when it started but I did watch it when I was four which was not a good age to remember things by. The story is all about surviving and getting the matrix’s before the other side does, of course other stuff will happen because one thing is really not enough. I think I will have the humans know of them because of the metal corpses left behind by the current deceased. The original will come back to life and then die and then risen and repeat because death is good for them. :p I am thinking OC’s because I like original characters so sue me (My lawyer has advised me to have that stricken from the record) Also I was four, how am I supposed to remember how they acted?

In this RP you can break out of what the original transformer were as they will be changing from what they once were. Anything is up but keep to what they would become so Autobots are always some land based vehicle while the Decepitcons will be anything in the air, ground and so on.

I'm potentially interested in this, as long as it has almost nothing to do with the terrible Michael Bay movies, and much more to do with the Generation 1-style universe.
Would it be acceptable to bring in some ideas from the IDW transformers ongoing comics - there's a lot of characterization and background of the war, and of the Autobots and Decepticons in there that could make for some great depth and interest.

I'd be interested in playing an Autobot who transforms into some kind of military vehicle, most likely.

This will have nothing to do with the movies and what you become is most likely to be accepted unless it does not fit that faction. Basically the dinobots will be in it along side omnibots, Constructions and Insections.

Also this won't happen unless four people want to do it and that does not include me.

I'm thinking something rather unique. Three motorcycles sharing a single consciousness. They can transform into three separate humans sized robots or combine into one average sized transformer... well, almost average. Even the mass of three motorcycles combined is going to make for quite a slender figure. I see a primary role of scout with a secondary role of skirmisher.

One would perform sniper support for the other two, the second would be the gun nut, while the third would use a submachine gun and sword.

I also say we need a space bridge so we can go back to Cybertron on occasion.

Interested - I'd like to side with the Decepticons. :)

Another Autobot needed, possible place for another one or two for both sides.

I'm soooo tempted to bring in my bot Spitfire... also tempted to bring in a Con heavy weapon specialist of mine too..

I'm tempted as well, *was pointed over here by Tearstone* Are there any restrictions as far as what we can and can not be for either side?

I think you should look the OOC over to see what is there. One of the Decepticons has an alt mode and is named NightScream. I don't think there are any so far but if you have something in mind you should state what it is. Most of us are vehicles and at least one or two can combine, though I think both are Autobots.

I think it would be easier if you chose one side. Past experience makes me say this.
