I hope Prussia isn't actually planning on attacking me. Otto Von Bismark and Robert E. Lee is my favourite historical ally ship.

They weren't buddies.

The Prussian army thrives on combat experience. Sadly, Denmark did not give me any. Since no war is allowed in Europe, I had to find...alternative sources.

You were going to roll-stomp Denmark if they put up a fight. And any intervention by anyone else to give you a greater "challenge" would probably be against the "No War Act".

Ex-actly.

You can see why Von Bismarck, the delegate to Constantinople, is so popular at home. Constantinople, since the Euros have backed out of the ACW, was an absolute Prussian diplomatic victory since no one could help Denmark.

True. The ToC says nothing about interfering with the ACW.

Au contraire, you bought a permanent prevention of German unification. The minute super-interventionist GB and France got super buddy-buddy, I knew German unification was off the table. ToC was just a way to cut my losses.

In my own defense, I am the King of Peace Treaties in this game...

Edit: I feel shamed. :'(

All things considering, I think things would have to get pretty bad for the Union for them to accept European help. The whole "we helped you now you help us" wouldn't go over too well I don't think.

Also...ToT and ToC are against European intervention in ACW. That's the end of my comments. :P

I don't think your people are willing to touch the ACW with a 40 foot pole, so, try and stop me.

I think I pointed out something very important about the cotton industry in my most recent IC post.

The Treaty of Turin hasn't even finished discussions, let alone be signed. Also, no where in the ToC is there a clause about European intervention. In fact, it at the very most supports the opposite by Article 7 or at the very least doesn't go against interference in that same clause.

This failed IRL though right?
Didn't Egypt just profit from it? Or was it that Europe had a lot in storage? Prices went up I think but no major breakdown right?

Egypt is also less likely to go to an Ottoman peaceful annexation because they are the ONLY major source of unfettered cotton in the world.

Egypt initially profited, but when the ACW was over, its eco crashed because Europe turned back to the superior American crop.

I think the last year or so before the Civil War the South had a bumper crop of cotton that the countries in Europe used for at least the first year of the war.
