It's probably a good thing we can't use reaction pics IC. Though, there is one gif that I'm just dying to use.

"Ich habe beschlossen nie einen ungerechten Krieg beginnen, aber niemals zu ende eine legitime Kriegs außer durch den Sieg über meine Feinde" --von Bismarck.

Rough translation: "I don't start wars, I end them."

Ermm...Didn't Prussia make first declaration of War? regardless of reasoning...that is still starting a war.

Not sure what you are referring too.

Threatening me overtly with military action is an act of war. That makes Khobab the aggressor in Prussia's eyes.

The exact translation is, "I have resolved to never begin an unjust war, but to never end a legitimate one by defeating my enemies."

Up until now, all Prussia has been doing is continuing old wars to more just conclusions in Bismarck's eyes. First Schleswig war, Belgian revolution, etc.

Meh, it's obvious that Prussia is machiavellian and has no desire for peace. Just manipulating words and such to fit their agenda.

*Shrugs* It's what is to be expected in this chess match.

The aggressor is always peace-loving (as Bonaparte always claimed to be); he would prefer to take over our country unopposed.

I don't know if Ampharos recalls my first PM to him. I told him if he acknowledged Prussian hegemony over Germany, we would be allies. What Prussia wants is a unifed Germany. Insofar as nations have tried to obstruct that, Prussia has taken steps to circumvent or destroy the obstacles.

Let me therefore be perfectly blunt. If Prussia could unify Germany by any other means, it would.

Earlier in the roleplay, before I had officially joined as the Netherlands, I was speaking to the Italian player about his ensuing purchase of Veneto. He complained about Austria delaying the sale of the area and wasting his time and orders. I posed that Italy should simply declare war on Austria and TAKE Veneto, both to cut through Austrian delays in selling it off, and to save Italy from the dishonour of buying one region of the country with gold and all the others with blood. Amused, we continued talking, and discovered we both shared distaste for the Treaty of Constantinople. Italy suggested that a conference in Turin would be the best way to solve his problems with the treaty; I jested that the easiest way to get rid of it was to march to Vienna and Constantinople, paint "Treaty of Constantinople" in Italian across the sides of the Austrian and Ottoman Parliament buildings, and set each of them on fire.

Maybe, with this war, I'll be able to see both of my proposed solutions put into action.

I am not lenient. I like to plow through my problems with a bulldozer. When Vienna and Constantinople are occupied, it will be me that draws the new map of Europe. Eurus will look like a dream straight out of the Sultan's harem, and no one on all Earth will question the unity of the Dutch nation without thinking twice.

They're going to exist afterwards. I'm merely pointing out that the peace we offered them before the war is obviously going to be kinder than the peace dictated afterwards.

Pretty much this. They will exist, and likely with not too drastically shrunken borders, but Eurus will seem ever so tame.

Yeah I was only teasing. But seriously, don't go too overboard.

@Pasta; you would need some pretty good justification, especially if it is player-controlled nation.

I'm not in the RP, and it looks like joining is currently closed, but uh.. I just wanted to say: All hail Prussia.

[My high opinion on Prussia is not necessarily in line with its players' actions in this RP, as I have not read his posts. That said, all hail Prussia again.]
