So, question for everybody! Just to keep the OOC active, even if the IC isn't. What's your favorite book in the series?

I haven't read the books (or if I have read a few in my childhood, I don't really recall any), so I obviously can't have a favorite.

We need to get you hooked.

Honestly, I always liked the Andalite Chronicles, as well as the Elimist Chronicles. For some reason, they stood out to me much more than the normal books. As a whole, I love the pre-ghostwritten books, but more as a collection and not individual. Usually the stories are just too short and shallow to really get into them.

I'm about ready to start Graduate School, so all my leisure reading time is about to go down the drain, I am afraid.

Haha, I concur with Terminal that Ax's books are among the best. I can't really decide from among them, though. My absolute favorite is probably the Hork-Bajir Chronicles. I loooved getting to learn more about them. The seventh book will always hold a special place in my heart, though, because it was the first one I read.

Graduate school? What are you studying, Deds?

Hey, I'm here too.

I've got a post written, I'm just proofing. It's a bit of an experiment, so please don't die of shock when you read it. I swear I put as much thought into it as my others. :)

Excellent!

Well, Theo's going to hate you, but I think it's great. ;)

So, I'm around book 43 in my re-readthrough, and I'm realizing that Cassie is the darkest character of them all.

Really shocking to realize that. I would have figured Rachel, or Tobias, or even Jake to fall first, but it seems like the war is really getting to Cassie.

Yeah, it makes sense, what with Cassie's general sorta/mostly pacifistic attitude. Makes me wonder which of our characters is gonna crack first... *cue appropriately ominous music*

My money is on Jason if this happened in the book.

We can always diverge from what happens in the books. I had honestly pegged Max, but who knows? It might be someone we never thought of.

Yeah, I feel like Max would spiral real quick. She doesn't deal with...reality very well. ._.
