What I meant to say was that hereditary diseases are a different situation than, say, giving someone fins, gills, or four extra arms. I'm essentially saying that adding new physical functions to someone is going to add a whole new can of worms to genetic modification, and comes with its own set of challenges.

Or you could read the apps and figure out which place would be receptive to business ventures and default one there.

Shame if anything would happen to it...

Anyhow is it fair to imagine the batmen as wyvern-like in their locomotion?

Name - Meritocratic Brahman Republic (MBR)
Location - Slightly to the West of Nai Kolkata. Occupies most of the space between Nai Kolkata and body of water in the western half of the safe-zone, although there is some space between it and the water. Almost directly borders Nai Kolkata. The MBR is famous for its sprawling cities, the largest of which - Praudyogi - serves as their capital.
Leader(s) - Chief Executive Grzegorzy Krylowov
History - The MBR was one of the first nations to be founded on Brahma, by a Canadian man – one of the people that narrowly escaped the Listeners – Marcus Campbell. Marcus was, before the Listeners came, an advisor to the IU’s de jure leadership and a high-ranking officer in their scientific arm. When he came to Brahma, he had come to believe that it would have been possible to defeat the listeners had only humanity been sufficiently advanced. Marcus believed that science held the key to another, more lasting golden age for humanity, and saw Brahma as a new start for the human race.
Despite obvious tension between humans and the Tkrai, Marcus openly encouraged friendly relations between the two species, saying that humans could develop even more advanced technologies should they accept the Tkrai. In essence, he espoused the idea that the different ways of thinking another species has would allow for technologies to be developed that humans would glance over, and vice-versa. Working together was something Marcus believed could accelerate the scientific progress of the two species by immense amounts. And, although his message was not initially well-received, both Tkrai and human colonists eventually flocked to his leadership in droves, hoping that he could deliver where their prior situations could not.
And, being the honest man he was, Marcus did his best to deliver. Being that he encouraged the use of science and technology whenever possible, Marcus was lucky in that scientists, engineers, and other skilled professionals were easily able to find work with him. Because of the simple fact that such skilled professionals were in short supply, Marcus’s encouragement certainly had paid off.
Considering his highly ranked position and his many supporters, both corporations and individuals, Marcus had no shortage of funds with which to found the MBR, although he certainly had few allies in religious and traditionalist communities. The MBR was initially founded in tracts of open land to the west/southwest of Nai Kolkata, although they still possess mining outposts in nearby mountains, and oftentimes mine from asteroids whenever possible. In order to compensate for labour shortages, the MBR began to utilize robots under their leader’s encouragement, even producing enough robots that their military had much fewer numbers of human soldiers than other fledgling nations. AI eventually came to see use as administrators, advisors, and occasionally military officers, some so advanced that they live lives much alike any other MBR citizen. Due to the paranoia of MBR leadership, though, humans still fill the most important roles, oftentimes serve as soldiers or labourers, and the AI/robots are equipped with built-in failsafes to prevent uprising or hacking.
After Marcus's death, the MBR quickly instituted a meritocratic system of leadership, and elected a man named Grzegorzy Krylowov to the position of their de jure leader. Grzegorzy obtained this position thanks to his extensive knowledge in business, law, and political science.

Wyvern's are two legged dragons, traditionally. Which, as it turns out, are the most common modern depiction of dragons.

So they probably are more family than you realize.

Just remember that the intro has already described Nai Kolkata, so follow those. Nai Kolkatta is supposed to be heavily influences by Indian and South East Asian architecture.

Ok. I am fine with that. I live in a place with a lot of Indian influence so I should be fine.

I'm not sure if pep accepted or not, but someone else was claiming the territories north and east of you. Might be worth checking with pep if an updated map has been made.

To be fair, Rare hasn't made any progress with his app/sheet. I'll admit though, I forgot he wanted to be around that area. But like I said, he's been on and off without any real progress to his app/sheet. I'd still like for him to join, but he needs to stick around more if he's going to claim stuff. I don't want to make a certain area off-limits to other players just because someone once expressed some interest in being there.

EDIT: I'm "Huggles". That's what I went by on another forum :P

EDIT2: Looks like Rare did edit his app two hours ago (even if all he did was add a name :P). Still, I don't want to make areas off-limits. If you want, Rare, we can talk about splitting that area near the lakes so everyone is happy. That, or you can choose another area - whatever you want.
