Parameters are too damn high on that assassin, but I don't dislike the concept.

Yeah, those stats are... baffling. He's Assassin, what is he doing with that sort of Strength? What good is it going to do him? O_o

Projectile--Daggers: specifying an exact stat is a bad idea. Especially those two. If a Servant doesn't have one of those... you are apparently taking on either someone extremely anaemic, or Caster.

Luck is actually somewhat understandable, as Assassin and Caster actually have high base Luck (B-Ranked).

... but that NP is outright insane. Every non-magus, non-Servant in the entire city gets converted to have Servant stats, Assassin abilities, and Servant skills? If this city has a population in the thousands, you have a B-Rank NP that can fight Iskander's army with almost no prana expenditure on Assassin's part. He turns one person, that turns two more, then they turn four, eight, sixteen, thirty-two... and that's if they only did two before stopping. No. No way.

(If each person turns ~four, then by the fifth iteration, that's already a thousand sleeper agents. It only takes 12 to turn the entire population of Tokyo into it--and that is the most populous city in the world)

I would imagine that it produces strain relative to the extremity of use? Maintaining a magic spy network shouldn't be effortless, rather than reducing its power it should probably be counterbalanced with a large downside.

B Ranked Strength isn't uncommon with Assassins, considering True Assassin had it, but also take note that Stay Night/Assassin had a crazy demon arm, while yours just has fancy eyes. I would suggest reducing strength due to your character being more of the subterfuge type, rather than the direct combatant that SN/Assassin was.

Honestly, um, I would think that for an assassin the spying aspect would be the best thing to focus on more then everything else... Especially since mind control is kind of something I see as a massively bad thing for RP's.

... But that's just me and I'm not a GM. ^^;

He was also a hulking brute, let's not forget.

I think one of the problems with that NP is that it too easily converts a random person into something superhuman. One look, and... they get a whole parcel of abilities and can spread them?

Okay! Wifi's back, time to address dem concerns.

Stats
No arguments. Nerfing B/C+ to C and C-.

Throwing - Daggers
Wasn't really aware of the stat requirements were higher or lower than the B-Rank 'daggers are comparable to bullets'. So I used Zero Lancer's bullet blocking as my reference point. The END stat clause was there because I felt the need to add a stat to help out the slower Servants.

Would 'daggers are now propelled at speeds two times faster than bullets/at speeds that give even the fastest Servants trouble' work?

Zabinaya
B+ Rank was because the other 'get lots of Assassin mooks' Zabinaya was of equal rank.

As for Servant-level stats... I'm gonna nerf them to something more like 'base/slightly enhanced human stats' and get rid of the Class/Personal Skills. In hindsight, the anonymity makes for a better PC than the actual PC, and nobody's gonna be carrying around knives to throw... Nobody sane, at least. For the technical knowledge skills, I think some of that can be justified by having Assassin point out that, yes, you stab the armored man's friend, not the armored man himself. But I'll probably get rid of those as well.

Well, since now they don't pose a credible threat to Servants any longer, I'm probably going to have to make more use of the spy network and the morale decrease for having Good-aligned Servants kill a bunch of innocents.

As for the 'Assassin Apocalypse' scenario, I probably should have clarified my meaning of 'take direct control'. If you've played Mass Effect 2, Harbinger is to the Collectors what Assassin is to his Agents. He can only choose one to carry around his indoctrination ability. So rather than the exponential situation, it's more 'Assassin takes control of one guy to infect several others before calling it a day'. Though, the mass sleeper agents concern is still valid, so I figure I can cap it at somewhere around... 100-150 at a time? Somewhere there. That would still give Assassin a decent network, especially if he affects the right people to keep an eye on the other teams.
I think that covers all the concerns posed? If I missed anything, you have a suggestion, or I still have a problem, then please point it out.

Well, seems fine to me, but as a reminder, Assassin as a class is more geared towards taking out Masters than Servants. Seen people forget that way too often and worry about achieving anything as Assassin... XD

@Grey if your using Reaper style indoctrination then another limit could end up being that sleeper agents show a gradual decrease in intelligence and independent thought through constant control.

That was more a comparison rather than an actual basis. I don't think his agents would be very effective if all you had to do was search for the symptoms.

Also, I apologize in advance to anybody who choses to make a Master with mundane ties. :3

Ok, so I'm done with my servant character! Any CnC? Any edits you think necessary? I tried to balance his luck and mana a little so he wouldn't be OP.

He's far less powerful than you might assume, especially as far as Servant on Servant combat is concerned. For example, even a rather weak Saber would have no problem virtually curbstomping a character with such obscenely low physical stats.

That said, it isn't really a reason to deny the character, so without further ado, on to my personal review~ (May be subject to change at any time, and it is in no way final, just my opinion.)

I thought the sampo made food? Well... food, gold, and salt. I'm not terribly sure how much use it is there.

... also I don't really get what he can actually do (plus the 'territory change' thing confuses me because I swear his whole story involves seafaring?)

I thought he should be physically weak because of the high amounts of mana he can use. :P But I also think I should put agility as a C or B, so he can take advantage of his divinations.

@ Raineh Daze: Yes, most of his history is settled with him faring through the sea, he, in fact, disappeared in the sea after making a boat with his magical voice. I thought a stream pool would be the right thing to use since his name means that, and even if it is a tranquil part of the river, he can make it hell incarnate with his voice.

Basically, he can manipulate the 4 basic elements (Water, Fire, Air, Earth.) at will, using them to fight or whatever else, he can also bend metals but only to craft things, not to actually fight, as well as making divinations of the close future, having kind of an advantage over physical attackers.

About the Noble Phantasm, there are many theories on what the Sampo could be and one of them is the fact of giving unlimited resources, but I think an astrolabe letting out apples would be just ridiculous. -.-' That's why I was planning to only use it as a source of good luck and to help read the stars, but for an active form of usage of it I've thought of some, but those I think are too OP to use (One of the first I had were to let the Sampo change the class Caster was in, turning him into, lets say, a Saber with the base stats of such class.) so if you could help me a little, I'd appreciate it a lot! ^.^

P.D. I'm also bad at naming powers, so if you could help me with that too you'd be a real life saver.

I have a Caster idea, but, um... I'm not sure if I should use her when we don't have that many Servants signed up yet and one of them is a Caster...

I'll just get her posted I guess.

Class: Caster
Master: N/A
True Name: Amalie Georg Faust
Gender: Female
Alignment: Chaotic Neutral
Appearance: "You weren't expecting someone else, were you?"
Personality: Caster has a difficulty talking with people. Aside from her Master, she is timid around human beings. However, nonhumans(including other Servants) will be encountered with a girl who is something of a blabbermouth, releasing everything that she is too shy to say to humans in a semi-coherent stream of consciousness. She is even more willing to converse with the demonic entities she summons. She is heavily attached to a doll she refers to as Gretchen and will be upset by any attempts to take it away. Caster enjoys collecting stuffed animals, the weirder the better. But still huggable.
Stats:
Strength: E
Endurance: E
Agility: C
Magical Energy: A
Luck: B
Noble Phantasm: C
Class Skills:
Territory Creation: B
The skill to build a special terrain that is advantageous to oneself as a magus.
Magecraft: C
Knowledge about modern Magecraft.
Personal Skills:
Demon Summoning: A+++
Capable of summoning any kind of demon aside from True Devils, and harnessing them to do the Servant's bidding. Given that summoned demons are not magic, this allows the Servant to bypass magic resistance. Demons operate more competently and more powerfully based on their complexity. The longer it takes for the Servant to summon a demon, the more powerful and complex they will be. This is because the Servant "designs" the form of a demon as she summons them, as demons are naturally formless creatures. At maximum complexity, a demon summoned by the Servant is quite capable of harming Servants. However, it is far more easy to kill then a Servants. Lower levels of complexity, while dangerous, are little more then cannon fodder for most Servants even if they are capable of dealing damage.
Noble Phantasms:
The Night of Wallachia-Mephistopheles(C):
The fabled presence that Caster summoned in life, Mephistopheles is a dark, formless entity. By invoking its name, Caster can summon Mephistopheles to materialize the fears of her opponent. While she believes it to be a demon(and holds no love for it, unlike other entities she summons), Mephistopheles is actually the 13th Dead Apostle Ancestor, the Night of Wallachia. The fears it materializes will attack those who they were materialized from relentlessly, until they are killed or they kill their target. However, they are not extraordinarily powerful, and are very capable of being killed. Mephistopheles is capable of targeting hundreds at once. Caster deeply dislikes the idea of summoning Mephistopheles, and would restrict his abilities to only a few targets if summoned.
Gretchen, the Pure Maiden(D~A+):
Gretchen was Caster's closest friend in life. The Noble Phantasm transforms Caster's Gretchen doll into the real girl as Caster herself views her. An angelic existence, Gretchen possesses a personality of pure innocence. Her very presence and touch is damaging; While she can only exist for a few minutes at a time, she merely needs to touch a servant to do damage. However, to servants of good or neutral alignments, this damage is not severe unless contact is prolonged. However, when a servant of an evil alignment is touched by Gretchen, they will be burnt as if by intensely hot flames. This touch is lethal to evil-aligned servants if prolonged for ten seconds or more.
Misc: Caster was born as Amalie Georg Faust, the daughter of a German magus. Her Mother died of an ongoing illness only a year after Faust's birth, leaving her entirely in the care of her father. As Faust grew, her father realized that she had a rare and unique elemental affinity: Demons. Her father believed that an ability to summon demons with such an element would lead to reaching the root of all knowledge in his lifetime, and thus forced a young Faust to spend her time locked in her away, summoning demons. She managed to befriend another girl her age, named Gretchen, on one of the few days her father allowed to leave her home. However, her father continued to allow Faust and Gretchen to meet. Faust was not allowed to meet anyone else, as her father believed that further human interaction would distract her from her summonings. However, he allowed Gretchen to continue to visit Faust because the girl reminded him of his late wife. Eventually, after many summonings, Faust was pushed to summon more advanced presences... and inadvertently summoned the Dead Apostle Ancestor known as the Night of Wallachia. Deciding to toy with the girl, the Night of Wallachia claimed to be an advanced demon know as Mephistopheles, which was capable of granting wishes. Faust's sole wish, however, was that she could live with Gretchen without her father preventing her from leaving. The Night of Wallachia agreed, intending to feed upon her father to prevent his interference. One evening, when Faust's father was planning to do something truly terrible to Gretchen when she arrived, the Night of Wallachia consumed his blood, killing him. Gretchen and Faust escaped the house. The exact circumstances of their deaths are unknown, but it is likely that the Night of Wallachia had a hand in them.

I know she's a genderbend, and kind of a weird one at that, but, um, I like to think I put a lot of effort into coming up with a reasonable explanation for why she could be female and yet her legend records her as male.

... Also the way Nasuverse demons work kind of prevents there from being a Mephistopheles like in the original story, which is why I tried to work out an alternative and ended up with the Night of Wallachia, eh-heh.

... okay, I still don't see it. Copying Medea's stats for comparison--as the pre-eminent magic-focused squishy Servant--we have:

Strength: E
Mana: A+
Endurance: D
Luck: B
Agility: C
N. Phantasm: C

So... you're saying he somehow has more mana (naturally, ignoring her preparations) than even her, but is somehow weaker than someone Rin can beat up?

They're... too weak. The elements are sort of useful, but Caster is more or less the weakest class anyway, and even Medea's ability to spam Servant-vaporising lasers and about a dozen other things didn't help out that much. Their divination skill is useless as it changes the future (and divination in an RP doesn't work anyway because knowing what's going to happen is hard), and their NP doesn't actually do anything worth noting, let alone being worth an A-Rank NP.

Please buff them. XD
