Damian was in the middle of running a new spell for his Blades magic through his mind when the senior member sat down next to him and ordered a drink as well. "I've never seen you here, brother!" He turns and smiles to the man as he continues on without hardly stopping. "We are all family here, at least to me so I hope you don't mind me calling you brother!" Damian shakes his head.

"Not a problem." Realizing the guy hadn't heard him, he waits for the him to finish.

"I'm Kelthar!" He offers his hand to shake it and Damian accepts and gives a firm handshake. "So who are you and.. what do you do?" Damian releases the hand shake and flips the knife blade into sight. Growing it's size to that of a short sword, he multiplies it to ten and has them circle himself, spinning spinning like the hands of a clock as they move.

"I'm Damian Geralds and I use what I call Blades magic." The blades suddenly stop spinning and orbiting around Damian and point strait up tip first. Soaring straight up, they all shatter into a hundred copies and hang there for a mere moment before all but one disappear, this one shrinking down to a knife sized blade and returning to spin once more on his finger tip. "It's got more uses than that, but most of them are for combat."

Angelo sighed loudly slowly opening the letter and reading it "dear Angelo I miss you very much I wish I can see you again. Please don't worry about me I'll be fine, even angels cry" Angelo read and his heart felt like it was going to ripped from his chest. That is what his mother always said before she would get beaten by his father to make sure Angelo got away "I- I need to go see her" he says sadly

Sasha rose, offering Angelo her hand. "Okay" She said simply, not even waiting to be asked if she could come along, "Let's go then" She dreaded the climb back down, but didn't let it show. She needed no excuse to even offer to go along, her friend was hurting, and she would be there to help make it all better. That was family, that was what being in a guild meant, at least to her. You helped when you saw someone hurting. She looked down, seeing Master Jamie working, doing something, and frowned, but turned back to Angelo, waiting for him.

Mayt yawned and stretched as he entered the guild, he hadn't been in the guild for a little over half the month now, and he had only been in it one or two times before he left and after the job he had been with Sasha during. He looked around the guild hall, noting people he knew, before heading over to the bar and getting a drink. Sasha was talking to the guy that had been on the rafters when they met, and he didn't really care. He would be wearing his sword on his side, and there's marks on the scabbard to indicate he's either been taking bad care of it or has been in a scrape or two recently. He's wearing all new clothes, and he looks like life is going on the up right now, until you see that his right hand is wrapped in gauze and he's sporting a large scratch across his cheek that looks like it may develop into a scar. His scabbard is also now held not only with a belt but a long leather strap over his left shoulder, across his body. He has a very slight limp as well, but he seems like he really wants to just be done with these minor injuries.

He quickly drains his glass and thanks the bartender, getting up and silently heading for the request board, wondering if there were any he could do in a day or two. He was also still trying to think of some way to tell Sasha he was sorry. He knew that what he was going to apologize for happened a month ago, but he couldn't get it out of his head. He glanced over the jobs, not paying attention to any of the ones that took place in cities he didn't even know the name of. He was bad at geography, and he wasn't just going to learn it for these people.

Master Jamie rose, clearly intent of what he was doing, when he saw Mayt. While it wouldn't be exactly the most battle appropriate method to test someone would didn't have any experience it seemed as working in a group, Master Jamie trusted all though it her guild. And those that just seemed to come and go without really settling in, needed to be immersed in the guild completely.

So Master Jamie went over to Mayt. "Mayt" He said, "This guild isn't simply a guild. It's a family, and you need to open up to someone, at the very least. You went on a job with Sasha, I know, but that seemed to end poorly. You seem to hold a grudge against other mages. Look around, and see that you are not judged here-no one is. We accept one another" Master Jamie looked around at his guild, and she couldn't help but smile.

He looked back to Mayt, clearing her throat. "You might as well step away from the Request Board. Sadly, I think the guild as a whole is going to have to deal with something, which means I need everyone I can to help out on this. I think you might just have the skills I need to help out. Stick around for a bit. I need to make an announcement to everyone"

Angelo looked to her sadly but happy all the same as he got up and hugged her tight "thank you" he said softly trying not to cry at her show of kindness knowing that guild members were family but this was the moment he wouldn't expect to come so easily after a moment to collect himself he smiled "let's go them" he said picking her up over his arm as he jumped down jumping against the beams to ease the landing as he got them both on the ground he let her down on the floor putting the letter in his pocket walking out of the guild hall waiting for her to follow

Sasha Shin, Phoenix Wing

Sasha yelped as Angelo picked her up, jumping down, and she pressed her face into his chest, to stop herself from screaming again. She felt better being back on the ground, and she let out a slow, shuddering breath. "Warn a girl next time!" she said with a slight laugh to Angelo, glancing about the guild.

She saw Master Jamie talking to Mayt, and Sasha froze. She hadn't seen Mayt since the job, and she hadn't had much chance to figure out what she had done wrong for him to act like he had. And she hadn't said sorry. Not wanting to be ignorant, or impolite, she waved, but soon fled the guild hall, catching up with Angelo.

"Okay. Lets go" She said softly.

Angelo nodded leading her to the railstation knowing it would take a while for them to get their as mark stayed on his shoulder to comfort him. knowing they were going to Oshibana Town where all the tracks seem to meet up. his father of course worked in construction of new railways and the likes so he sometimes he wouldn't be seen for a few days and those days were a blessing considering when he was home he would be drunk because he was a "social drinker" and unfortunately he was a really mean drunk always picking fights with someone and even with Angelo or his mother from time to time. although nobody reported it to any officials they let my mother know when my father was coming so she could hid Angelo from his fathers drunken wrath, Angelo has seen his mother with more bruises and black eyes that Angelo could count. the one time he did try to fight for his mother he instead got beaten near death since he was so much younger and weaker then his mother. ever since then he has never been able to look his father in the eye without becoming a dear in the headlights. now though Angelo would be able to afford getting his mother out of their even if its only a small place by herself it would be much better then being with their father

Kelthar nodded, "Good then, you will fit in here!" he said with a grin. He watched with a big smile as Damien preformed his trick with his knives. "Hey i can see how that can be useful in battle and many other situations!" he said with a smile. Kelthar was glad that Damien had asked him who he was and what he did. He was excited for his new teammate to join in on the guild and all the fun things that would be happening. "Why I am one of the guilds wizards as you must obviously know, but I'm just a friendly guy who cares deeply for the guild." He said.

As a few others around heard Damian ask Kelthar what he did, they kind of started to back away and cover their ears. "Why, Damian, I'm glad you asked." He said as he grinned even wider. " Kelthar took a step back, "I use sound magic." he said with a smile, "I manipulate sound to create shockwaves and increase the volume. As well as all other types of tricks... Watch." he said with a smile. He turned around as he put away his Ukulele. He looked at the crazy guild hall. Kelthar then looked back at Damian, "Watch this." he said with a grin. He closed his fist as he focused and suddenly all the noise went silent for a second, just long enough for him to clap his hands and it to echo throughout the entire guildhall. He grinned at Damian after the fact, "That's what I do." he said smiling.

Damian covers his ears as the clap echoes through the guild hall and makes a mental note to not get on Kelthar's bad side for the sake of his eardrums. "That's incredible!" I chuckle softly and resume drinking again. And a bit earsplitting "In the eight years I've been traveling Fiore, I've never seen magic quite like that." Secretly, he hoped he never would again outside of Kelthar. That kind of magic could be used for many purposes, and a number of them he could think of weren't sunshine and lollipops.

Remembering the cutlasses on his person, Damian leaves the ethereal blade floating where his finger was, still spinning on it's tip of course, and draws the one from his back. Rummaging in his bag a little, he pulls out a whetstone and sets to sharpening the blade, a shrill *shring* sound ringing out from it, but no where near as loud as the clap. "So, Kelthar, how long have you been with the guild?"

Sasha followed Angelo, not really having any idea where he was taking her, but trusting him. She was deep in thought, troubled. She sighed softly, shaking her head to clear it, and looked about. She knew that most people would ended up in Phoenix Wing had a troubled past, or something they weren't ready to share. The important thing was to just be there, but Sasha wondered why Angelo seemed upset about receiving a letter from his mother.

She walked beside Angelo, silent, and there if he needed her. She noticed they were going to the Train Station, so she had a pretty good guess that it had to be somewhere via train. She jogged off ahead, buying them a ticket each, falling back to Angelo when she got them and giving him one, "Which train?" She asked softly, looking about them.

Mayt sighed as the Guild master started talking to him, and he nodded as she continued talking. "Yeah, big family, whatever. I've been in three families before this, none of them were particularly great, guess my subconscious is trying to tell me this one is the same." He shrugs, and faces him. "And everyone's being judged all the time, here is no different, people just act less on it." He had a serious look on, and didn't notice Sasha waving at him at all. He obviously hasn't had a good time recently, but he really shouldn't be being this bitter. "But I'm up for whatever you have planned." He gives the Guild Master another look, and he starts to head to one of the tables, taking a seat, crossing his legs, leaning back, and waiting for the show to start. He hopped he would see Sasha again sometime soon, he did want to apologize.

Selk had been enjoying his time with Sylla. She was his best friend, and he hers. There wasn't much Selk did without the grizzly bear he had taken to calling Sylla. And there wasn't much that Sylla did without Selk. They ate together, slept together, and spooked others together. It was a nice life, one that Selk enjoyed. But as he sat with Sylla, he found his mind wandering. Within the last few years, Selk had felt his life become more and more dull. He hardly had to spook others off, his new "home" being within Ragged Brotherhood territory and all. Selk's assignments were usually bleak and dull as well, easily accomplished with brute force provided by Sylla. Selk sighed a little at the thought, it was like he had retired. Retiring isn't something Selk had planned on, so the thought pained him. The First hadn't even asked him to go with the twin enforcers, which had offended Selk at the time. In fact, it still did. Selk pat Sylla on the back, and he found himself with a frown. In the time he and The First had known each other, they had gotten much done. But progress lately was slow. They've been playing defense since day one, focusing on bolstering their numbers while still being secretive.

Selk yawned and lied on a soft patch of grass. He didn't close his eyes, he merely just stared at the canopy above. Selk wasn't mad about not going on a mission at all lately, technically he could do whatever he wanted within the Ragged Brotherhood. But not being given orders made him feel... old. Sylla sat next to Selk, not sitting, but she too stared at the sky. Her age was starting to show in the form of sleep. She slept a lot more often than she used to. She also ate more. But still, Selk frowned. How long had he known the Grizzly? Eighteen years was it? Selk let out a sigh of remorse. She'd be dead within the next few years, most likely. This bothered Selk, but not too much. He'd probably die within the next few years as well, considering his lifestyle. Selk closed his eyes once again, falling asleep once more. Sylla did the same. They'd do something later. For now, Selk and Sylla were content with being old.

"Or maybe you're just being stubborn" Master Jamie called after Mayt, and sighed. Well, he would soon learn. Master Jamie looked over to see who else was there. He saw Kelthar and the new comer, glancing about he continued looking, wondering where Sen, Vanu and Amelia were, and where Angelo and Sasha had disappeared to. He supposed word would get around.

She clapped her hands, to try attention to herself. "Alright, you lay-abouts. There's something important we need to discuss. A job was just teleported here. It appears a band called the Raggered Brotherhood is tormenting Aroway, killing and generally causing a mess. I want to lead as many of the guild there and confront these ruffians, and do what we can for the people of Aroway" Master Jamie said, looking over those gathered there.

the one that leads us to where all tracks go" Angelo said softly as he took the ticket and he went to the train headed for Oshibana Town walked inside the train car and getting a seat for them making sure mark was safe in his pocket as they got on waiting for the train to start "thanks for coming with me sasha its just....really hard to go home for me" Angelo said making sure that sasha didn't hear the jingling of his jewls in his bag which was well over 100,000 to say the least. he didn't want to let her know cause she might ask for some but he was saving all the money he earned so his mother could start off somewhere different and away from abuse. he remembered his mother was so kind and comforting even when his father came in to destroy what sense of decency he believed he had. right now just having someone with him to handle his father meant a lot to him

Kelthar grinned as he sat back down and grabbed his drink and slowly turned around as some of the people gave him a dirty look. Kelthar leaned back as he took a sip. Kelthar's eyes watched the spinning blade. "Man I've been here for a long time man, a very long time." he said as his mind drifted off to what he was like back then, he was afraid and kept quiet and hidden, heck it took some of the older members 2 hours to just get him to tell them his name. He looked back at Damian, "Ever since I was a kid i've been here! This place was and still is home to me!" he said with a happy smile. It was at that moment that Master Jamie came out to talk to everyone.

Kelthar looked in attention, "I'll come along master." Kelthar said after the master was done talking about the Raggered Brotherhood, he was grinding his teeth now, "It angers me so much when people kill others for literally no reason." he mumbled under his breath. He was ready to go as he waited for any further orders that may come.

Damian nodded to Kelthar. "That's a long time. Seems like a good guild from all the stories I've ever heard." As he went to ask more about Kelthar's past, the Master called everyones attention. Damian couldn't help but frown upon hearing the word murder. In a way, it reminded him of what the monster his father's regiment had faced had done to his family that day. And now there was the possibility of wizards doing it. Of course, he was well aware of the risks that came with magic, that like all other things in this world, it could be used for light or dark. He could remember a couple years back, he'd done a job stopping a dark wizard calling himself The Morpher. His Morphing magic had certainly been interesting to see, and a pain in the ass to beat, but in the end, he'd been beat.

"You have my blades, Master." Damian stood up, thrusting his cutlass into the air. "What good is this gift if I don't use it to protect others?"

Mayt stands up as well. "No reason not to." He crosses his arms, staring Master Jamie in the eye, as if asking her to throw the hardest he can at him, and a little bit of fear that is exactly what she is doing. He's not in the best condition, but his dominant hand, his left, is uninjured. And physical injuries shouldn't affect his magic. "You have whatever I have to offer Master Jamie." He does mean this, though his posture still may suggest otherwise. He doesn't say some crap about how murder grinds his gears or how it infuriates him or whatever. He just looks like it's something for him to pass the time with.

"That's a few hours ride. Hang on, let me message the guild" She said, taking out a piece of paper. She wrote carefully on it, slowly, and it was clear she had difficulty with it. Going with Angelo, has something he needs to do Her hand writing was childish, and slightly crooked. She folded the paper up into the shape of bird, and blew on it. It was enchanted by a mage n the guild, and would find its way back. It was a effective way of sending mesages without Communication Lacrima. Which Sasha didn't have at the moment. She watched the paper bird fly away for a minute.

she turned back to Angelo and smiled, "I don't mind. That's what friends are for, right?" She said, settling down on the sit in the train compartment "To help when things are bad" She reached over, and gave Angelo's hand a squeeze.. "It's going to be okay, what ever's wrong. it will be okay"
Master Jamie smiled, clearly thrilled at the enthusasim, "Right then. I will be making some plans, some travel arrangements. You should all ready yourselves. This could be a dangerous mission, and one were we will have to be skilled and powerful" He looked over the gathered guild members. "You need never fear, as long as we are together, even if there is no magic power left, we can't give up. This is what it means to be in Phoenix Wing. THis is what it means to be apart of a magic guild, and this is what it means to protect those that can't protect themselves"

Master Jamie rose his arms, and her appearance changed. She changed into a female, with blond hair, and her clothes changed as well, becoming black, and differently shaped. . She smiled, and said, "Lets move it! gather what you need. Mayt! Get your hand seen to. If you can find Sen, she has this most wonderful Bishop that can help"

he nodded a little holding her hand softly " I really hope your right. my father was very abusive to both me and my mother, he was a mean drunk and my mother just took all of it from him. I tried to help once but I nearly died in the process. ever since whenever I see a drunk or think about my father a chill rides up my spine and I cant move" Angelo said sadly looking down on the floor so not to meet sashas eyes thinking she was either giving him a pitiful look or an angry look to think that Angelo just ran away from his father because he was afraid "he said id never do anything with my life. I joined the guild to prove him wrong" Angelo said softly holding sashas hand tight to express that he wanted to prove it and believe that he was better then him and he didn't run away from him

(For those of you that can't see Master Jamie's look, heres the link look))

Sasha listened as Angelo talked, and when he was quite, she shifted to him, and gave him a tight hug. "It's going to be okay. You're going to do the right thing" She gave him a smile, leaning back. "I'll be there, to give you help if you need it" She gave his hand another squeeze, and continued, "You'll see. You'll face this, and be stronger for it"

She felt the train begin to move, and made sure the compartment door was shut tight, so it wouldn't open and shatter, pulling the shade down, so there was some semblance of privacy, doing so for Angelo's sake. Sasha was, when things got down to it, a caring, helpful, almost motherly type of person. She settled back down with Angelo, taking his hand in hers again
