Mod souls don't really...grow. Your abilities wouldn't increase or change much from when you were initially created.

So this is still WIP but I think I've got most of it sorted out. Just need to flesh a couple of things out a bit, but it's late and I'll probably be sleeping soon so that can wait until tomorrow.

• Name: Nekketsu Keiko
• Appearance: Like this! She stands at about 168cm/5'6".
• Age: Just over 200. Physically in her late teens.
• Gender: Female
• Class: Soul Reaper, Lieutenant of Squad 5 (arbitrarily chosen, will change to a more fitting squad if one exists)

• Powers:
•• Kido: Whilst Keiko is decently skilled in most Soul Reaper disciplines such as swordplay and Shunpo, where she really excels is Kido. She is skilled in all three main types of Kido, able to forgo incantations for all but the most powerful Kido.

•• Shikai - Knock 'em out, Fuuraimaru!: Once her Shikai is activated, Keiko's Zanpakuto takes the form of a metal baseball bat, strangely enough. Whilst being hit with a solid lump of metal tends to hurt quite a bit, it is in fact a ranged Zanpakuto. Fuuraimaru is able to summon orbs of reiatsu, which... Well, it's a baseball bat, it's probably obvious what comes next. The launched balls have a small degree of homing capabilities and explode on contact. Whilst even Keiko herself will admit it's not the most impressive shikai out there, it has its uses and tends to be surprisingly effective for what it is.

•• Bankai - Bankai, Kanzen Fuuraimaru!: (WIP; will figure out the specifics later hopefully ^^;)

• History: Died, became a Soul Reaper, worked her way up the ranks thanks to hard work and guts, is now a lieutenant. She's still pretty new to the post and is still getting used to it. WIP, Will flesh out later.

• Details: The first thing that most people note about Keiko is her sheer, raw enthusiasm. She seems to be possessed of almost unlimited energy, and does not understand the concept of an indoor voice; it is believed by many that she is physically incapable of not being over-excited or, indeed, standing still. No matter what she is attempted, Keiko throws herself into it with overflowing passion, occassionally even excelling purely through hard work, effort and a stubborn refusal to give up when raw talent fails. Her boisterous demeanour often makes people wonder how she even became a lieutenant, which can often give her an edge when they underestimate her; she got the position through training as hard as possible, after all, and is far more competant than she would initially seem.

Considering the knowledge we have about Mod-Souls, much is unknown about that and it is plausible, but then there is the possibility of having them adapt considering they are artificial life, they in sense have to adapt. And those Modified-Souls who don't simply die or last until they are overwhelmed after what their pre-set abilities can do.

(Edit: but I dont know much about Mod-Souls but I know they are intelligent, so what says they cant adapt, or improve their current abilities?)

They were never designed for growth, they were designed to make humans less worthless and usable for military purposes, not to create artificial shinigami.

They are, in essence, not so much artificial life as they are a artificial intelligence that can be injected into bodies to improve their capabilities.

As much as I want to continue this argument, I dont want the Lobby being filled up with our debate over Mod-Souls, so if we may can we stop? If you wish we can take this into Private Chat and Debate about this then? Cause this is an interesting topic to discuss.

But I toned down his Shunpo and made it for Only Escape uses so Close Combat with it is nonexistent. Plus its on Advance level as well, next comes the Kido which I will toned down some too.

Yeah but those are called Regai, and they need to be exact copies of someone with already high power, hence why they used Captains. And Regai are pretty frowned upon since you know what they did, if you seen the filler arc.

•• Shikai: "Spin, Tatsumaki!" - Initially appearing to be a giant yo-yo, as tall as Tomoko herself, it quickly is revealed to be much more when chainsaws erupt from the indentation in the center, in a ring around the "body" of the yo-yo. The saws roar to life as soon as they spring out, and she can launch it at her foes only for it to safely return to her. She can also swing it as a semi-ranged weapon to take out targets who are further away. However, it does not have unlimited range, tethered to Tomoko by a string around her middle finger.

•• Bankai: "Rip them apart! Bankai! Ketsukei Tatsumaki!" - WIP

• History: WIP

• Details: Some would consider Tomoko's youthful and rather endearing appearance to indicate that she is innocent, nothing more then the little girl she appears to be. This is absolutely not the case in any way. Tomoko possesses a biting tongue and a tendency to refer to others in a rather insulting fashion. Little malice is intended unless she truly dislikes a person, she simply enjoys seeing the reactions to her insults and sarcasm. On top of this, Tomoko appears to only have any respect for those who rank over her. Those on level or beneath her tend to get insults, sarcastic comments, even somewhat sadistic treatment by the youthful-looking lieutenant. She won't actually hurt anyone... but awkwardly leaning on them among other odd things is certainly not an uncommon event. If asked, she will cheerfully declare that it is "tough love". This attitude extends to her behavior in combat. Tomoko's fighting style is rather vicious and features a lot of rather aggressive and quite likely painful attacks. However, she firmly believes in a Soul Reaper's duties, and is in fact highly protective of other lieutenants and those who rank below her. In her words "You can only abuse them if you're me. Or if you rank higher then me, I guess."

Noooo clue what to do for her history at the moment, and not sure what to do with her Bankai or powers yet but it's a start. ^^;

Oh, and by the way, not every Lieutenant needs a bankai~!

Also all forms of whatever can grow in power. Its only natural from an RP standpoint. And if its nor physically, i'm sure the equiv of a browning 50 cal would be a big upgrade for anyone. :P

Tatsua Aiisen, Archmage MC Going off the premise these two were providing, Lieutenant and lower level soul reapers rarely have Bankia, though it is possible. Also every character can grow in power, regardless of their class until they reach the limit of their classes growth. This all in mind, Every character in this RP will have the opportunity to grow and change. This may even go out of the boundaries previously placed in the original series, though only in moderation. What I mean by this is creating new dynamics like class combinations or characters achieving powers just beyond their reach is allowed though should be reserved, if used at all, for pivotal points within the story as it develops. Leave yourself some room to grow instead of being at your maximum capabilities on day one. This isn't required, as I'm fine with you starting at the strongest you can be. It's just a note to keep in mind. Remember, this isn't about being the strongest. It's about immersing yourself in the world and developing the character that ultimately represents you if you were in this world. If I spy an overpowered character with strength for sake of strength, I'll call a nerf. But so far, I've seen great characters from all of you, which is why I haven't really complained. That, and the fact that this is a sandbox roleplay at its heart and thus encourages spontaneity and innovation. I would love to see characters who don't mind playing the part of a human with no spiritual pressure whatsoever...but maybe instead is an investigator looking into disappearances that, unbeknownst to them, are hollow murders. Or maybe a soul reaper who hasn't learned their Zanpakutō's name yet. But if everyone want's to be melee heavy captains or alternate versions of ichigo, then who am I to say no? As long as it fits within the boundaries of the universe provided as well as the guidelines I have given, then by all means take advantage of the opportunity. This is also why I encourage the creation of multiple characters. This way you can have your main, more powerful character, and then perhaps a less powerful character who doesn't have to be any less involved in the story.

Archmage MC Feel free to make a hollow. Be sure to check out the various levels of hollow if you need any extra info on hollowfied beings. It's up to you on what level you would like to start.

My character has been intentionally designed in such as manner that she is likely to evolve, but not in a positive manner. Her strength is great, but she has a high chance of becoming significantly weaker as the roleplay progresses.

Alexander Garner

Current Visored leader and previous 12th Division captain, Alexander is a cunning scientist with a fair amount of secrets and mysterious personality. While a part of the department of research and development for Gōtei 13, he researched the workings of hollowfication and how it effected human souls. His research led him into dark places and ultimately had his work seized, forbeyed to look any further. However Alexander's curiosity ultimately got the better of him, leading him to disappear in the dead of night in order to do further research into hollows and their evolution process. Eventually, he was discovered by a few of his squad members. Luckily for him, they volunteered to help, having similar curiosities, as well as seeing benefits in the research. During a secret experiment involving Plus who was undergoing hollowfication, a horrible accident occurred resulting in the destruction of his lab as well as infecting himself and his associates with hollow reiryoku. Though they survived the incident, they all ultimately underwent individual hollowfications, transforming them into Visoreds. As a result, Alexander and those who helped him were subsequently banished from the Seireitei. Alexander was prosecuted and sentenced to be executed for his forbidden research. But on the day he was due to be executed, he vanished from his cell with out a trace of evidence as to how. Since then, Alexander Garner has been on the run, leaving the soul society and migrating to the world of the living where he has remained ever since. In the few decades that he's been in the world of the living since then, he's worked to control and master his hollow abilities and searches for other Visoreds to help them do the same.

Senkosei Hollow Killer

Name - Martha Richter

History - Martha tries her best to avoid trouble after being practically born into it. She's the child of two rather extreme pure blood Quincy who boasted membership of a community of European Quincy known as Wildes Heer. Where most Quincy are willing to work with the Shinigami to see spirits purified, Wildes Heer are huntsman as well as monks. They destroyed their prey, the Hollow, with no hesitation. Naturally, Martha was induced into the group at a young age and slid into the role of Hollow Huntsman rather well. Of course, this was not something which was going to last.

The Gotei finally brought the hammer down on the Wildes Heer, wiping them from the face of the map - other than Martha of course. Just before the extermination, At age 15 and under the instructions of her parents, she fled their home and tried to set herself up in another country, landing in the spiritually active Karakura town. As the only member remaining of the Wildes Heer bloodlines, its understandable to see why the local Gotei might not be too content with her still being around. For now, she hunts the occasional hollow and tries her best to work out the secrets of Quincy abilities.

Got her gnarly scarring hunting a particularly fierce hollow.
Apparently it's impossible to make her fall for jump scares.
When it comes to an ethical code, she plays it fast and loose, taking an 'any means necessary' approach to taking down Hollows.
She's actually trying to become more scientifically minded, so she may start researching the potential evolution of Quincy abilities.

Visored is a better plural form than Visoreds.

I'm not going to get mad at the GM for something silly like this, but so far all of the PC Visored seem to be <mostly> independent entities. At the very least, Yuyuko and Baldir both do as they please. Even if they all used to be Captains, I can't see them making Alexander their leader, especially when both of them are self-trained and gained Hollowfication through unrelated incidents. Not to mention, he's been a Visored for far less time than my character, so I can't see him outranking her (or any other PC Visored, honestly~!)

Hm.... I'm typing up two characters. One you are going to call OP right off the bat I'm guessing though, its hard balancing mage characters since they have to deal with combat in a roundabout way. What would be OP that isn't obvious so I know what to remove if he has it. Though I can make him a shimigami and remove a great deal of his abilities if he has access to kido. Downside, I'd HAVE to make a bloody human and thats downright boring.

Also how much would you dislike my characters being 'villians', but more in the vein of Bowser/Eggman, where they are villianus, but has no problem teaming up with the 'heroes' to fight a greater evil?

Oh joy, a delightful Quincy seems to have appeared! Nobody likes playing as Quincy, so I'm happy that somebody managed one that isn't exactly like Ishida~!
