Ooook. u_u

Then, no control over Servants or Masters, can only control people external to war. You think that's better? (Since I don't think zombie-like people can be an actual problem for a servant)

Yes, but they are not HIS noble phantasms. He just owns them. As silly as it sounds, it makes sense.

So that's two mundane mind controllers.

This war is going to suuuck for the bystanders.

Okay, that does make sense. It's actually noted he's an owner rather then a user.

He does possess them and they are Noble Phantasms, though, eh-heh.

Also, um, do have several masters I can choose from to use.

Well, yes. But if it's a question of 'who has the most Noble Phantasms', then it's Gil, followed by EMIYA. Just because it's not specific to their legend (or lack thereof), doesn't mean they don't have the most. XD

Fourth will still be worse for them. One survivor from near the end of it. ONE.

We'll beat it, I'm sure of it. (After all, I hope my servant will be paired to some kind of psychotic master.)

Absent GM is concerning. Nevertheless, the grail!

Name: Ivetasviel von Einzbern

Age: ???

Gender: Female

Appearance: Holy Grail Mk 6.

Personality: Naive. Lacking almost any knowledge of the outside world, Ivetasviel knows only that she has to win the war and attain the Third Magic--and is easily manipulated as a result. Rather than a Master controlling a Servant, an intelligent enough summon could direct her to their own ends with ease... though so could basically anyone else in the war.
Extremely excitable.

History: Created by the Einzbern because... honestly, they are thoroughly sick of losing. And, of course, somebody needed to proved the Holy Grail itself to make the completion of the war possible. Given the comparative success of the Grails of the Fourth and Fifth Fuyuki wars, they once again opted to make a Homunculus for the task. Since they were starting again, they had plenty of time for Ivetasviel--starting with Justeaze's line as a base again, and going from there, they have created a Holy Grail that could contain an absurd amount of Servants before she herself is affected.
Then, because they are naturally obsessed with victory, they made certain that this Grail is able to fight and defend itself. No sense risking the entire war's end... and it gives an advantage against other Masters, as elimination of their contribution risks the entire war.

Abilities/Magic: Has Water as an Elemental Affinity, but that more or less becomes irrelevant when considering her full capabilities. As a Homunculus, she is composed almost entirely out of magic circuits; as an Einzbern, she has Wish-Granting* as a sorcery trait; and as her entire purpose is to win the Holy Grail War, she can shoulder the burden of even the strongest Servants. Once again, they engineered a Master with Command Seals far in excess of what is needed.
Because it finally came to their attention that a Master that cannot actually survive to the end of the war, and cannot win, will never actually get them what they desire, Ivetasviel is far hardier than her predecessors. This extends even to the war's completion--though in the long run it would kill her, she can survive the manifestation of the Grail long enough to actually grant the Einzbern's wish.
Her abilities are best summed up as a combination of Ilya's raw magical power, and Leysritt's physical ability. It came at a cost mentally, but she can be described as an Einzbern masterpiece.

Assets: Not wanting it to go to waste, the Einzbern retrieved Leysritt's halberd, which is now in Ivetasviel's possession. She also has a house, though they were unable to obtain the sort of land they would normally build on in time for the war.

*The ability to cast a spell through prana alone, without requiring knowledge of the actual process.

Alright, here's a draft for consideration. Now, my experience with fate is limited to the Fate/Zero Anime and trawling through the Type-Moon wiki, so please advise me if I've done something bad.

Edits so far:
Changed the Rebellious Spirit skill down from B to C
Removed the detail of the Glenrowan NP to get an extra + boost against targets with an oppressive ideal.

I'm not giving my full opinion on dear Ned yet, but holy cow let me say, a Servant with a gun is really, really ridiculous in terms of strength.

Hmm. Well I was thinking that other servants with high enough agility might be able to employ enough anime laws to go jedi on whatever Ned shoots. However, if you're concerned about it, might it help to impose a need to reload? The rifle only holds one bullet at a time in real life and the revolvers hold six each. I wouldn't expect any mad-enhanced servant to be a great marksman with them in any case.

If it needs a more serious nerf I could just as easily remove the revolvers on top of the reloading thing.

From what I know, it's pretty much impossible for Servants with guns to exist. At least in the main timeline, due to avery sharp decline in heroic feats around the time they became commonplace.

And I know El Draque exists, but /Extra seems to take a hell of a lot of liberties as it is.

Yeah, I read the Nature section of this which covered the gun thing. The articles' cynicism about amazon forest preservation difficulty aside, It has some conditions to a heroic spirit being made that seemed to contradict in some cases because of lack of specific definition, but I think it was focusing mostly on guns from the 20th century and beyond. Ned died about 20 years before the end of the 19th century, but he's still on the border in this regard. Especially because of his notoriety. I can expand (read: rant) on why I think he can count as a hero in the strange conditions that the Fate wiki posits, but... how do I put this... the Fate universe doesn't have to be consistent, that's why it isn't if you look deep enough. In light of that, you guys probably would have fundamentally made up your minds anyway.

If it's a matter of balance, I understand completely and talking it through is fine by me. If guns turn out to be outright too powerful for the RP, even the one-shot rifle that would load about as fast as a bow and arrow, then I suppose I can make another servant, but I would rather negotiate first.

I'm willing to hear other opinions about this, as well.

Well, it's more that no-one can become a Servant for guns, because skill with them isn't all that impressive (the only Servant from modern times cheated and made a deal with the world, and is actually pretty weak for it, and doesn't have an NP proper), so no-one can become a Servant for guns. If Zero Berserker is more dangerous with a sword than any type of firearm, guns aren't overpowered at all.

More bothered by a boost to NP strength if someone represents an 'oppressive' ideal, because conditions like that are more or less always fulfilled with the sort of logic Servants run on.

Also, I think Nature of a Rebellious Spirit should be a lower rank, since... you've got it high enough to counter the sort of Charisma to rule a country. He wasn't that disruptive.
