I feel like I have put more thought into my cleric, and also I would have to hold back less since Master Summoner can break the action economy too easily so I would have to reign myself in.

I will go with my necromancer cleric as my character, giving us a monk, and 2 clerics.

Clerics are the ideal solo-class party, so I doubt we should have issues. :P

Also, at I think level seven, because of the death domain power Sujurak will be able to be healed by negative energy as though he was undead :D

Indeed, at level eight. We only have to worry about our complete lack of healing for the first seven levels! :P

Eh, healing is overrated. If you die we can just bring you back from the dead.

edit: of course it might not be YOU you but, hey who needs personality when you have undying loyal skeleton minions?

Or desiccated husks being moved around by a crew of odd little spirits?

Point is we got it under control :P

Can you tell us anything about this character? There's nothing in the character sheet to give any sense of who they are, even their patron, "elements", is pretty generic and doesn't give any clues.

At least you get to see the patron of elements. I just see internal server error.

Untrusting eyes dart here and there almost constantly, as if many of the things she sees are new to her. Often times words need to be repeated or forced as she delays response to most requests and commands. Her long dark straggly hair flows down past her back in every direction indicating it had never seen a comb or scissors. When asked a question, if there was a response, it would only be a simple answer of a few broken up words. Little is known other then she was picked up as she crossed the chain gangs path while cutting through a dark, cumbersome forest. Blood was found on her mouth and clothes. The guards held her and searched around, finding a dead body. Accused of cannibalism, she was arrested and hooked to the back of the line.

I meant other than a physical description. I'm not asking on behalf of our characters, I'm asking OOCly. Also, a chain gang tends to be a prison thing, it's not a slaver enterprise. If she's in with us, then she's a convicted criminal.

Also, here's a working version of the link:

Nevermind. Anyway, I can vouch for skybird. He's a good roleplayer.

I added a little bit more. Backstories aren't my best area. I prefer using the actual roleplaying to get things across.

But I'll give spoilers. She was raised by a hag that separated from her covenant. She doesn't understand certain normal conventions. For example, she was raised on humanoid flesh.

Part of why I ask is because if we can discuss what our characters are like OOCly, then we can figure out why they would be working as a group ICly. I've always found the "gather the group together" parts to be some of the most annoying bits of D&D games simply because it's a given that the characters are going to be working in a group anyway, the outcome is already known and so the entire time that they're chewing the fat about WHY they're joining together, actual adventuring is being missed out on. As such, having the characters have established connections ahead of time seems to work best.

It's not spoilers, this is part of the planning phase.

My character's connection is pretty set.

"Hey, we're busting out and we're all casters. Can you punch the door down?"
"Grrrr..." *punch the door down*
"Thank you, angry growling lady."

Actually, Sujurak might be better in that regard- strength of 14, and the domain power of the Corruption domain lets him ignore the hardness on things for one attack per day.

I dunno if we'll break free fast or if we'll actually be prisoners for a while at the beginning- but the higher level we are when we DO break out, the more spectacular it'll be as we suddenly bust out magic on the guards and such. I can totally see Sujurak casting Hold Person on one of the guards then going all Temple of Doom and tearing his heart out with a coup de grace attack, since the guard is left helpless.

If you can take out the door with one unarmed attack, even ignoring hardness, Solace will be very impressed.
