Chris had been walking the campus by himself for some time when the announcement rang out. He looked up to the sky to see the sun hanging low over the horizon. Excitement began to well up as he realized that tomorrow the test would begin. Teams would be formed! Friends would be made! Grimm would be killed! Chris smiled and made a bee-line for the ballroom. Students were already filing in when Chris arrived, he found the room that had been set aside for them to change. Once in his pajamas he went back into the ballroom. He scanned the room for a suitable mattress. A lot of mattresses seemed to be missing pillows for some reason. Chris selected one of these mattresses, he didn't sleep with a pillow anyway. He tried desperately to sleep, but couldn't. There was too much excitement. So he lied in bed, listening to the conversations of the students around him.

Priscilla smiled at Oliver. She seriouslyndid like spending with him, alot. And so seeing that they both have their fingers locked with eachother, holding hands, Priscilla leaned forward kissing Oliver on the cheek. "Thank you, so much. For telling ne your story and for being honest, and for being a friend to me. Also for calling me those names, haha.~" Priscilla looked around bitting her bottom lips, hearing the announcement. "Alright. Thats our cue. Lets go!' And with that she dragged Oliver to wherever the announcement was!

Had just finished talking with the principle of this school. His voice sounded quite awkward and he had noticed I could connect with brains. It was creepy but she could tell he was a powerful being. Anyways she'd walk around the halls viewing the school. It was dark but some of the lights kept the halls slightly illuminated. She'd missed out on the ceremony as well, sighing she had taken a private airship sent from the school. Though she had too pay extra for the ride. It really sucked being late and she'd never want too do it anymore. Shrugging the slight noises of her shoes..echoing of its clacking noises. The shadows that seemingly followed her as she walked.

Though she had nothing too be afraid of. Looking around once more she had last her self in a maze of halls and turned and turned trying too figure out where she had just came from! 'Dammit' she thought in her mind. Looking around aimlessly, deciding too unsheath her fans and so she grabbed her fans that settled on her sides and then flicking her arms as the fans opened. The blades reflected off the illuminating lights.....she turned trying too retrace her steps.

She'd panic. She felt as if thousands of hours passed by it obviously didn't. She begin running, dashing as her fans acting as wings increasing her spead, slightly. Passing many doors and the powerful breeze dancing onto her skin she finally heard a mumble. A room of which she could hear mumbles. She quickly stopped and stared at the door.
Settling her fans along her sides, thinking if this was the 'ballroom' the principle had mentioned. Her hand grabbed the knob turning as it made clicking sounds her side pushed against the door, peeking into what ever was in the room. She saw many mattress some with pillows and some not. Seeing both female and men sitting around doing what every they do before bed.

Sighing she'd fully open the door rolling her shoulders. The backpack was real heavy and only had supplies and clothes inside of it. She entered looking around for empty mattraces and supposedly near girls. Spotting one as she quickly ran over too the corner of the room. Though new the mattrace she had chosen had no one near it. Shrugging she'd settled down her backpack onto the mattrace and plump onto it. She was used too beds and after plumping onto the mattrace it slightly hurt. Sighing she'd take off her shoes and socks and put them near her bag. Unzipping her backpack and grabbing out a book too read until it was time for her too go too bed.

Thinking about it..one more time she'd just put the book back into the backpack, zipping it once more. She was already wearing light clothes so...why not just wear them while your sleeping. She was wearing real skinny pants that were made for sleeping. Shrugging she'd take of her skirt only leaving her skin tight pants on. Also her shirt was already for sleeping. It was red and baggy and didn't need too be taken off. Shrugging she'd exhale and lie onto the bed. The skirt that she'd taken off was next too her backpack. Once again..she'd sigh her head lieing onto the pillow as she stared at the cieling...wondering, ' I am home? '

Oliver felt the pleasurable sensation of Priscilla's lips falling softly on his cheek. After realizing it was a kiss from her, Oliver blushed to the point were his face could be mistaken for a tomato. Oliver spoke after she was done, "Y-You're welcome..." Oliver stuttered as he tried to make words. Oliver's body stood there like a plank while his mind drifted off into some elaborate fantasy about picnic's and more kisses from her. Oliver was quickly brought back to reality when he felt her yank him towards the ballroom. Oliver sped up a little bit, and matched pace with her. 6-8 minutes had passed but they managed to make it to the ballroom before all the good mattress positions were taken. Oliver's hand grew cold as he let go of Priscilla's to pick up his things from an unorganized pile of luggage. He only brought one of his three backpacks to his bedside, it contained clothes and a softer pillow than the one given. He replaced the pillow on his mattress with the one he had brought from home, he placed the school's pillow on one of the beds without a pillow. Before Oliver got t comfy he looked around the room at the other students. Some already sleeping, some talking with their friends, and some were just coming in.

Oliver noticed Chris laying down on a mattress 4 away from him, he was as still as a rock. Is he sleeping already? How can anybody sleep so quickly when something so exciting is happening tomorrow. Oliver thought to himself as he started to change into his sleeping wear. Oliver didn't bring pyjamas or shorts or anything like that, he usually slept in his boxers and a white t-shirt. Oliver took off his shirt while sitting on his bed, and stuffed it in his back pulling out a different shirt. He slipped on the white shirt, and took off his jeans, sliding his feet under the thick blanket and leaning back into a laying position. I'm so excited I don't think I can fall asleep! Oliver thought, frightened that he will be to tired the next day. Oliver's mind scrambled, slowly turning into images. In just a few seconds Oliver was dreaming a vivid dream while he snored quite loudly. Surely his obnoxious snoring would be embarrassing if he was awake...but he wasn't...

Gideon conversed with Blake, mostly making small talk until he could no longer remain in conversation, beginning to feel restless. Initiating the end of the conversation, Gideon explored the buildings for a good amount of time, his serious nature and appearance causing most people to simply avoid interaction with him, though he didn't mind it. He felt stuffy walking through the boardwalks that circumvented the school and allowed for passage of the many other students at the school. Deciding to make himself more comfortable, he found a tall, tower-like structure in the school's campus, utilizing the sheer athleticism that came with his long, lean form. his snake-like eyes gazed over the landscape with something that appeared similar to a hateful glare, though to Gideon, he was simply enjoying the fresh air and distant horizons.

The school's schedule thus far gave him far too much time to mull over his thoughts, he came to the school for respite from just that. He needed a break from his thoughts, the self conserving rhyme clashing violently with his moral reason-- The stone felt familiar under the touch of his hand-- the air was crisp but rather chilly-- the skyline was especially bombastic in comparison to his home-- Gideon interrupted his own thoughts with different subjects, his face taking on an annoyed countenance as he attempted to sporadically tune out his thoughts, though they always came back.

'A break' His father had said.
'A break is what he needed at this point in time, to reconcile himself and somehow leave, such deep cleaving wound left by the past; behind.'
Father had always taught him the stakes of taking a life, the experiences of each and every thought, the joys in life and the sorrows. The upbringings and downcomes. His father had always told him that each life has insurmountable value, greater than any amount of water, more important than any weapon or material.

His Father never told him how to withstand the weight of taking a life as well as the priceless value that came with it. No matter how Gideon justified it, the feeling of ending the thoughts, dreams, and passions of a life scared Gideon, despite his iron-like composure.

As the announcement rang out, informing students to assemble in the ballroom to sleep, Gideon jumped from his place up high on the structure. With great grace, he landed, though however graceful it might have been on the sandy dunes, landing on the stone cobble gave little way to absorb the impact of Gideon's weight, causing him to roll forward rather awkwardly. Wincing at the dull pain in his feet and ankles, Gideon began taking long strides towards the Ballroom, extinguishing his doubts and introspective thoughts from his mind, he rather turned his scrutinizing gaze towards other students, analyzing each one that walked along side him one by one.

Picking up his rather decorative cloth pack that looked designed to be an adequate weight for a camel, he slings the strap around his shoulder like a messenger bag. Walking into the changing rooms, he thought nothing disrobing completely despite the semi-populated room. Changing into silk pajama pants that appeared not only extremely expensive but extremely large, even for Gideon's larger-than-standard form. Standing at 6'4", Gideon's pajamas barely clung to his waist as the bottom cuffs wrapped around the mid-section of his feet. Grabbing the pack and walking out of the changing room without his standard shemagh and half-robes, it basically offered the first full view of his face, though, the somber features clashed rather brilliantly with the comically large pants he wore. Claiming an empty cot that was likely undesired because it was surrounded by groups of talking people, Gideon sat, with both of his scimitars in one hand, he placed both of them in his pack before setting the pack down and turning it so his clothes were face up, effectively becoming a massive make-shift pillow as it seemed his cot either had not received a pillow or somebody else held the belief they were entitled to the cot's pillow.

Without much ado, Gideon gazed at the other people for a few moments before deciding strongly against ensnaring himself in another conversation. Within a minute, he was asleep, almost as if timely sleeping was part of his living regimen.

"Attention all first year students; please go to the ballroom for the night. Tomorrow your team-selection begins, and you will all need your strength for the trials ahead."

Ineko looked up, then at Bruce, "TIME TO GO, THEY WANT US K-O'D. I'LL HEAD OUT FIRST.", he got up and stretched, cracking several joints. He let out a resounding "AH, HAVEN'T DONE THAT IN A COUPLE OF DAYS. RIGHT, I'LL MEET YOU THERE." He walked out of the arena, watching the sun go down. He checked his clock, and supposed he could be late a couple of minutes. He took out a T-Shaped key and jabbed it into his neck, he cranked it several times and then took it out, putting the key back into its small pouch. He said something in techno, but this time, the volume was much quieter. More towards an indoor voice. The drones on his back detached and flew towards the nearest vending machine. They hovered around the front of the vending machine for a short moment, moving up and down and to each other, like they were discussing something, making quiet beeps and tones. Finally, one of them pressed the button for vegetable juice using their nose. Using some clever moves, one of the drones had gotten the can of juice to sit on top of themselves.

Meanwhile, Ineko looked for an out of the way spot with no one in sight. He quickly found it, as most of the students had already, or were in the process of going to the ballroom. A moment later, the six drones came back, one of them with a can of juice on top of them. Ineko smiled and took the can off of the drone, placing it on a nearby bench. The six drones flew off after delivering the juice and began to play, flying through the air trying to tag each other. Ineko's helmet hissed as it depressurized, a panel on the back opened up and he took his helmet off, setting it down on the bench next to the juice. He sat down, his face covered in cotton gauze, leaving only his mouth, eyes and nostrils exposed. It took him a couple of minutes to finish the 12oz can of juice. Taking tiny sips at a time, he watched his drones play in the setting sun. The blazing orange made him uncomfortable, as soon as he could, he put on his helmet, tossed the empty can into the recycling bin and began his walk to the ballroom. His drones following close behind.

He walked alone and silently, occasionally looking back to make sure his drones were still following. How many people had he met upon landing? Two? Maybe three? It was good enough for the first day. Upon entering the ballroom, he saw that most students were already in their beds. Sleeping, reading, socializing. He spotted an empty bed somewhere in the middle, and as he made his way over there, a couple pairs of eyes were drawn to him. Mostly people were in comfortable clothing, but Ineko was still in his armor. Ineko grabbed the blanket that was over his mat and shaped it into a small circular nest. The six drones slowly landed in the nest, a couple adjusting themselves to get comfortable. Ineko sat down in the lotus position next to his nest, humming a tune that resembled the song, The Humbling River. Despite the tremendous snoring of some students, the quiet tune reached some ears, but more importantly it was a tune to let his drones relax. When Ineko was sure that his drones were asleep, he sat upright and sat still. His eyes closed.

After having a small talk with Gideon, Blake left to check out more of the school, Conrad separated from him as he had some urgent business to attend to.
Wondering around the school Blake began to admire the fountain of the great heroes. The statues inspired him and it made him a little restless, it finally hit him, he was in Beacon, living his fathers dream. The Silverheart family was known for their silver weapons and fine smiting, but no one in his family had become a hunter before, he is the one to come the closest yet.
Sitting down next to the fountain, he took out his shield again along with some rags and polish, the air near the fountain was cool and the sound of water calmed Blake, helped him relax while he polished the shield. It had been a long day and he had met a lot of people, now he had to take care of his gear.

A minutes later, the announcement to gather in the ballroom was made. Blake walked straight there, no detours or anything this time, he had to be ready for the test tomorrow, though he did keep an eye out for Conrad, Gideon, Atlas or Alpha, they were his friends after all.

Arriving at the ballroom, Blake didn't see anyone he recognized around him, maybe it was that they were all in different clothes and Blake was bad with faces, so he just took a random mattress and striped of his armor, letting it fall to the floor in a somewhat heavy “CLANG” noise, after that he took out the same rags from before and he began to clean and check his armor and lance, making sure they were in normal conditions. Tomorrow was going to be a though day he thought, lost in his work.

Abel was in the process of relaxing and wondering how some of the others -particularly the only guy who outsized him, a tanned brute who had been wielding two scimitars before he set them aside- could fall asleep so easily when the armored teen he had seen before entered. As Abel watched, he made his way to an empty, pillow-devoid mattress at the rooms center directly next to those of Hansen and Gretchen and arranged the offered blanket into a nest for his drones. Those drones were a source of marvel to the Guardian; while there was certainly a push for similar technology to assist or even take over from the Guardians back home, most of those robots had been human-sized or larger, even weapons of war. Such small, intricate droids were nothing short of amazing--particularly since they seemed to display something akin to personality. Is that even possible? I thought robots couldn't have feelings? Then again, robots didn't attend school last he checked either, so perhaps it really was a revolution.

All was not well for Ineko, however. His choice of positioning, while ideal for him and his children, was unfortunate in its proximity to a certain trouble-loving pair in his vicinity. No sooner had he sat bolt upright and closed his mechanical eyes than Hansen and Gretchen abandoned their plotting and commenced examining him. In the process, they left their stash of pillows unguarded, giving Abel reason to wonder if anyone would be trying to steal from the thieves. The slender redhead waved a hand in front of Ineko's face to see if he was awake, while her portly brother crouched near the drones, ignoring their clicking and whirring as he peered at them curiously. Abel saw, despite the distance, that Hansen still had his collapsed halberd on his belt.

Abel decided to let that situation sort itself out and turned away. He noticed then, remarkably for the first time, that a nearby boy was snoring incredibly loudly. Groaning, Abel pulled the pillow over his face. "How can you live with yourself?" He murmured into it irritably.

As they were walking, she could see Oliver blushing, which it was soo cute because she has never seen a guy blush before! "Well. I will see you tomorrow, Ollie." A cute nickname for him. Priscolla walked to the ballroom as she grabbed her bag, taking out her teddybear and her pink blanket which she always sleeps with.Yes she was old, a teen, but she loves her teddy bear and blanket!

"So tired...!" She yawned going to the bathroom, first, brushing her teeth and what not as she walked back to the ballroom now wearing, her pink pajamas. "Doodoo." She hummed a bit, fixing her hair and now going under the sheets as she fell asleep. Priscilla couldn't wait for tomorrow! It was going to be so fun, especially the team selection.

Oliver had a fantastic dream which included killing grim, drinking soda, and getting praised as the best warrior they've had the pleasure of training. The beacon academy headmaster, Professor Ozpin, even knelt down to his one knee and granted Oliver a medal, proving that Oliver's talent was that to be acknowledged by even the highest of authority. Oliver could see a girl running through the seemingly infinite crowed of people who joined together to praise Oliver. The pink haired girl made it to the stage and stood there in front of Oliver. She leaned in for a kiss, and so did Oliver. Just as the explosive feeling of their lips touching commenced, Oliver was brought back to reality. His head lied stiffly on his pillow, while his eyes looked around the room landing on the windows. It was still dark out. Uhg it's still night time, I thought for sure I was going to sleep right through... Oliver thought as he scrunched up his face in frustration. Oliver closed his eyes again and waited till his mind drifted back into sleep. resuming his loud snoring.

The students slept (hopefully) peacefully, and the hours passed as they always have, the sun rising, and the shattered moon falling from its lofty seat. The simple sounds of whatever indigenous bird o the area was audible from outside the ballroom. Light shone in from the windows of the room, and, several students were already awake and going about their business.
Beliya had awoken much earlier than most anybody, and for about an hour or so, she was alone, going about her business, mostly due to her crepuscular nature. She'd already taken a shower, and gotten dressed, and still had energy to spare. Not that it mattered much either way; she had to conserve it for the trials ahead. She still didn't know where the partnering test was going to be held....though she'd heard that new arrivals often got sent into the Emerald Forest, or Forever Fall. Both were dangerous, and both were massive.

Thinking for a moment, Beliya wondered about whether she should try and partner up with Janet...and then resisted slapping herself in the face. Because as much as she had humored her, Beliya didn't really believe that Janet would be all too reliable. Or strong. Or compotent. Or nice to talk to. Overall, she wasn't fond of the idea. Then there was that Ineko...he seemed intelligent, if a bit loud. She muddled over the possibilities, thinking about all the people she'd seen as she took a seat on a bench and simply pondered; eventually growing tired of simple pondering, and began sharpening Kladenets with a whetstone from her pocket.

Serara

Night 12:00am

Eyes were still open. Mostly everyone had gone too sleep by then but suddenly..Serara couldn't sleep. Staring at the walls and the irritating noises of people here that were snoring. Shifting around her little mattrace looking around. Seeing smiles on some faces and just blank emotions on most. Serara sighed and after a few minutes of thinking her eyes began too slowly close and thus she layed her head onto her pillow and thus slowly she could hear the screams in her mind. She'd try too ignore such sounds and thus drifting off into sleep.

Dreams

She was in a room...it was the ballroom and everyone was gone except for her. Her mattrace moved and in the middle of the ballroom. Sitting up she looked around seeing as the windows were covered in red? She stood up and her fans were gone. Everything except for her clothes. Hearing the whsipers of the 'Man' she walked towards the window and some sort of words began appearing....' Look behind...Y- ' and suddenly it all ended the nightmare had ended but..she only thought that opening her eyes once more a distorted body was infront of her. It was her parents killed and blood dripping onto the ballroom. Serara had backed away and suddenly fell through a hell. Being stabbed, slaughtered by the 'man' hearing his last and final words, ' Your not alone...'

Morning

She felt a slight headache as her mind was returning back into reality. Feeling slight pain on her chest and arms and...seemingly the rest of her body. Opening her eyes as her vision was slightly blurred blinking a few times her vision turned normal. Sitting up as she stared at the window. Seeing the trees waving and the slight horizon. It was kind of blue and pink at the same time. Turning her head and looking at her surroundings and seeing that everyone was still a sleep except for one mattrace. Someone was already gone and did there thing for the morning.. So she stood up and rubbed her head. It was kind of messy but she didn't care. Looking at the edge of her mattrace seeing that her stuff was still in place. Inhaling and Exhaling in relief she crouched down and unzipped her backpack and grabbed her usual clothes. There was a small sack it was bathroom supplies. Holding her clothes and also the small sack she went over and walked towards the door.

She had a very hard time opening it...though she had managed too open it but almost half of her stuff had fallen. As she went through the door she saw the lights were on. ' Do the teachers wake up so early? ' She asked herself. Shrugging she'd continue too walk down the halls too the girls bathroom. Doing her regular bathroom routine. Taking a shower, drying off, putting on clothes, brushing your teeth. Thus after she was done she walked back too the ballroom only carrying her small sack of bathroom supplies. Opening the door as she walked back too her mattrace. Looking towards the others as they all began waking up and the shine of the sun began seeping throug the windows. Smiling as she plumped back onto her mattrace and grabbed her fans.

Serara wearing a baggy blue shirt with long sleeves. Along with a short black skirt along with some simple black tights that go under that skirt and wearing a pair of black ballet like shoes with grey flower patterns on them.

Trico saw the sun start to rise over the horizon, and decided it was time to get down. Her legs ached from perching all day, but managed to make her way to the ball room, where most still slept. However, there where one or two awake, and doing their bathroom stuff, one was even sharpening her weapon in anticipation for the trials. These trials, where she would die, or begin her training, didn't matter much to her. And after her terrible introduction with people the other day, she decided to stay in the corner, and keep out of sight, waiting for the activity to begin.

Tai was up early with the sun, doing his best to not wake anyone else from their slumber as he slipped between mattresses. He could see that some were already awake, and it was a slight surprise to find that he was not the earliest riser here, but it wasn't that big of a deal as it was. He'd had a nice, dreamless sleep, so he was feeling fully refreshed and prepared for the day.

He headed outside to the lawn below, figuring he would get some of his morning workout in before going to take a shower. It would get him alert, focused, and he wouldn't have to worry about being sweaty later. So he set to it, doing long stretches and quick actions in a brown tank top and grey shorts, working up a sweat in the morning as he did kicks and quick jabs, martial arts that he had put on display yesterday for those who had happened to see him.

He must have been out there for a half hour or so, yet it was adequate time for him to feel awakened, blood flowing now as he stepped back inside and made his way to his luggage, retrieving his bathroom supplies before he went for a cold shower, all while battling slightly growing butterflies in spite of himself. Today was the big day after all, that would decide the course of his next four years at Beacon. A lot of pressure, even for one as calm as himself. He could only imagine how everyone else thought.

When Abel first awoke -at roughly the same time Tai was finishing with his morning routine- his vision was bleary. He blinked a few times but it didn't help. The easy, soft rays of early sunlight were well upon him, making him too warm to fall asleep again comfortable. A quick look at his feet confirmed why: the lovely, cool sheet had been given to spend the night in lay off the edge of the mattress, kicked there in his sleep. The boy grumbled, wondering exactly why this kept happening. Did he have a terrible, frightening dream during the night? Or perhaps a very good one? Abel certainly didn't remember his dreams, much to his chagrin. All he ever woke up with was the unhappy, confusing feeling that he had forgotten something important. Rolling over, Abel screwed his eyes shut and decided that he would try to go back to sleep.

It was at that moment that he remembered why he was here. The first day of the rest of his life had dawned, and by God he wasn't going to miss it. Galvanized into action by the thought of the trials ahead, he kicked his legs and sat straight up. For a moment his head swam, but as his sight cleared he got a good look around. About half of the other students were awake by now -he noticed the crazy faunus-attacking girl huddled in a corner of the ballroom, for instance- and a few of them seemed freshly showered. Abel raised an eyebrow. He didn't know that this place had public showers, much less where they were. He settled for wildly brushing at his hair to remove any dust or dander and shaking out his clothes. Once he deemed them sufficiently clean by his admittedly low standards, he pulled on his hoodie and wrap and slipped on his boots.

Leaving the Ampere behind, he left the ballroom to find a drinking fountain. Once there, he took a deep sip, and splashed more onto his face to help wake him up as well. It wasn't coffee, but it would do. When he turned around, he almost bumped into a boy standing right behind him, apparently in line for the fountain. Abel's words momentarily caught in his mouth when he saw that the boy was holding the Ampere. "Hey," he said, indignant, "What are you doing? That's mine!"

Sheepish, the boy held it out, and Abel grabbed it from him. Once Abel held it in hand once more, he looked at the boy more carefully. He wore simple pajamas, a long-sleeved shirt and pants, both deep green and covered in leaf designs. His hair was blonde and his eyes blue, and while he was only a few inches shorter than Abel, his features made him look much younger. "I thought you had forgotten it. It's very nice and I didn't want you to lose it." For some reason, Abel was inclined to believe him. He just seemed so...innocent.

"Ah...thanks, I guess. What's your name, kid?"
"I'm not a kid, I'm sixteen. And my name is Pan." He crossed his arms. "You look tough," he appraised, "But you won't get anywhere on a team if you're rude to people."
"Hey, I'm not rude. People just don't do nice things like that usually."
"Maybe you ought to believe in people more." Pan stepped past Abel to take a drink. He seemed to the Guardian like a smart guy, and his heart was in the right place, but he was naive. Abel left him at the fountain and returned to the ballroom for lack of a better place to go. While somewhat nervous, his excitement was far stronger. He awaited any sort of announcement eagerly.

It was morning, Blake woke up about the same time as everyone else. Since the test was today, Blake took a moment to do some morning exercises and stretches to perform at his peak, running in place, pushups, tree stretch; All that, just in his pants right to the side of his bed, he was used to living and working in a small room so the spare room of the whole school just confused him on were to go exercise, so he just did. Not working much of a sweat, as he just warmed up him muscles.

As a lot of people were waking up now, Blake took no time to spare and dashed at full speed towards the bathroom, just as he was with a pari of new clothes and cleaning tools in hand, who knows how long the line will get when everyone wakes up, there mus be at least 60 people. He arrived well before any kind of line formed and was able to shower, brush his teeth, the works.

Now changed and clean he returned to the ballroom were, he began to put on his now shinny armor, as he did, he could feel it weighted more then usual, this was probably because of the burden he had to become a hunter, the promise to his deceased father, but he didn't asociate it and just dismissed the thought.

Now fully equipped, lance on his back and shield on his arm, all sparkling in the morning sunlight that entered through the windows, he began to wonder around the ballroom looking for anyone he had met before, He still didn't have a partner, if the partners were chosen by them anyway.

Gideon's closed eyelids were illuminated in a red tint as sunshine battered against the skin. Most of the people were already up and going by the time Gideon's eyes fluttered open. His stiff posture and natural frown whilst he slept locked his muscles into a certain prone position that forced a few minutes of stretching before he had full flexibility once more. Having silently sat across his mattress completing his stretches, though they appeared more like some form of yoga, Gideon moved the nearby unoccupied mattresses away from himself, creating a small area around him clear of anything. Grabbing a hold of his large knapsack, Gideon used a small amount of red dust from a vial that had been conjured from his bag, placing it in a side compartment of a large water canteen. After a minimal pop, Gideon set up a small, simplistic, cup that appeared to be crafted of clay. He then meticulously shook out a portion of ground leaves from a small satchel, as if carrying out a scientific procedure. Gideon eventually methodically poured the, then boiling water, into the small cup, remaining still as the aroma filled the air surrounding him.

Finally pleased with his carefully crafted tea, Gideon began to sip away at the heated beverage, the scalding liquid warming him to the bone as contented shivers ran down his spine. Gideon's features, normally both sharp and harsh, softened with each small sip. To any onlooker, two things would become obvious rather quickly:
1. Gideon lived for certain things in life, they were things that made his life worth living.
2. To Gideon, tea was one of those things.
The aroma spread quickly throughout the ballroom due to the bustling movement surrounding Gideon's sanctuary of calm. Despite the fact that Gideon was placed close to the middle of the room, there was a certain tranquility brought about him that could only be distinguished by the fact that his somber and no-nonsense demeanor caused most people to steer clear of him.

As people went about packing their night-time attire, Gideon simply sat cross-legged, both aware of his surroundings yet the embodiment of utter calm. It seemed like his movements were almost automatic, his eyes barely open, his mouth barely twitching to intake the beverage that he held with barely awake hands. He mouthed words, though his voice was barely audible to himself, which was fine as Gideon only intended to mutter to himself
"A sanctuary to my taste, when every sense is over-stimulated. Even the aroma of the air is pungent as the smell of incense clashes with the smell of hundreds of recently showered bodies. My mouth must be a place of envy."
Gideon praises his own craftsmanship in making the tea, though he still never made a move to ready himself for the day.

Robert woke up, his neck and back aching. Using a mattress to replace a missing pillow wasn't a smart decision. After going through his normal morning routine, he got dressed into his casual clothes. "No one's really told me about this test," he thought to himself. "I hope it isn't a math test. I suck at math." He looked around the room, looking for something to do or maybe someone to talk to. As he looked around the room though, he realized he knew absolutely no one. "I should of tried talking to people yesterday, it seems like everyone knows each other, already." He then went back to his mattress and just sat there, hoping someone might come and talk to him. "A hot chick would be nice," he thought out loud, then began frantically looking around hoping no one heard him.

Gren woke up from his sleep. Though to a casual observer, they might have thought he was meditating, what with having been sitting the entire night. In full armor. It didn't bother him too much and he had learned how to shift his armor in such a way that it didn't weigh too much on him, but it only worked if he sat in a certain position. It was at least comfortable and allowed him to be ready at a notice's moment, but also a very delicate state of body; the slightest nudge was able to make him uncomfortable enough to have to wake up and shift back into place. Luckily no one seemed to bother him last night, so he was well rested. Getting up was a bit of a pain since having to lug his armor just after waking is difficult, but also something he's done a lot. He still kept clean however; as soon as the bathroom was available, he went inside, washed himself clean and brushed his teeth (All in the showers), and put on some new underclothes. He began to clean the inside of his armor once more, even though he didn't really do much yesterday to make it dirty. Habits.

Once he was finished, most of the ballroom was awake. There was still people asleep and who just woke up, but for the most part the day had begun. The sun was high enough to enter the high ballroom windows, so he guessed it was mid morning. "The dew should still be wet." Gren went back to his mattress and retrieved his things; first was a large metal box, looking almost like it was some sort of military grade crate meant to survive a nuclear explosion. And the other thing he picked up was The God Eater, his weapon, current in it's dormant state. Despite looking like both the things weighed a hundred pounds each, the large burly boar faunas hoisted these things onto a harness on his back. He left the Ballroom to go look at something.

That something was the garden. While most of the students were warming up their bodies or getting breakfast, Gren had regretted not seeing the flower garden yesterday. He had spent most of the day doing some research on Grimm and what he could be expecting today, assuming that Beacon was much too spartan to have something as silly as a flower garden. Oh how wrong he was. Beacon actually had a wide variety of flowers, even though the arrangement of them was rather uncreative. They were all growing together in no discernible pattern or shape, though he supposed that in a way, the fact that all these flowers are capable of being grown and mingling among each other was something admirable, and could speak volumes of Beacon's willingness to accept different people. "Or, maybe I'm just thinking too much about a foolish thing... I hope I'm wrong." Gren looked for which flower he could try to take, not wanting to take one that still has a chance to grow, but also one that is nearing it's end. It was a very delicate and intricate process that made him think long and hard on which flower he decided deserved to have all it's efforts cut, merely so that he could bring an offering of peace to someone in the near future. Sufficient to say, it was not a simple choice.

Olivers eyes fluttered open as he heard the growing commotion of other students waking and preparing for the day ahead. What really woke Oliver was a mix between clanging metal, probably someone walking, and the aroma of a nice calming tea. Oliver's nose twitched wildly as he took in the scent of the tea, Is this the tea from the school's cafeteria ? I didn't know they had master brewers working here as well as master warriors... Oliver thought as he let his nose guide him into a sitting position. Oliver stretched his arms to the point where they cracked in two different places. He did the samee with his back, twisting both left and right till he heard them crack. Oliver looked around trying to spot the lucky fellow who acquired such beautiful smelling tea such early in the morning. It was Gideon.

Oliver wasn't on a hugging basis with this guy, but they were acquainted yesterday. "Gideon! Where did you get the tea! I need It!" Olivers said as he smelled the air more. Like his dog counterpart his smell was heightened more then the average Joe, and Oliver knew a good tea when he smelt one. With a quick observation and some selective smelling Oliver came to the conclusion that Gideon made it himself. The water canteen the sat next Gideon gave it away. "You must have some practice in the art of brewing tea to make such a soothing beverage.." Oliver said as he moved over to Gideon giving him a slight nudge on the shoulder. Oliver clearly was trying to get Gideon to allow him to taste it, "Such a fine beverage should be shared among fellow tea consumers, for it is the will of all things spiritual in this world...." Oliver persisted. Oliver ears slouched a bit from their usual pointed position, and he had his tongue hanging out with a slight drool dripping down it.

Oliver was overflowing with energy. Early morning, late night, it didn't matter, if Oliver got excited for something his mood and energy would be boost to the point where it was almost contagious. Oliver's eyes were wide open as he looked at Gideon....
