Green Arrow sounds good. And yeah I admit that was dumb, but I didn't think about Venom more until later that night when I was like "wait, he's too close for now". As well, being an anti-hero doesn't really change the fact that Venom is still Venom: a character with the same abilities as spider-man.And you don't have to be a villain I was just suggesting it. Until we get people joining as major villains, we'll just NPC them to suit our needs.

Eventually I'll drop Green Arrow. When you think the symbiote is ready. Mind you I have plans to make him less "big black scary Spider-man and more of his own character. How? No idea just yet.

But Green Arrow will do for now. Everybody wins.

Yeah works for me. You can have the green arrow character become the symbiote Venom once he's introduced rather then kill him off or replace him.

OK, so at the moment I'm thinking of digging up the "Alien Lantern Corps girl" idea I had for another RP that I never went past the drawing board with.

*pokes this*

I was hoping to get some con-crit on this concept before I try sheeting it.

Oh, didn't know you want critiquing ^^ I'd say having a lantern would be fine, what colour were you planning to use?

That's what I'm not sure about. That one line represents just about all I know about the character.

My suggestion is either green or violet.

...Although probably green, since violet has the unfortunate tendency to produce yanderes. ^^;

I'm thinking of a green and blue (mostly one at a time but both simultaneously when he really needs power) lantern who is the adopted son of Kyle Rayner. It's taking a while to write but I'm getting there.

EDIT: And now I see someone else wants to be a lantern. Is this concept fine? I could go down to just blue if necessary.

Um, well, OC Kamen Rider since you're allowing them, eh-heh.

... Though all I have for the idea at all, um, is just "OC Kamen Rider".

I think going with just blue would be the best idea, honestly. XD

Here's my sheet. A blue lantern Kyle Rayner legacy.

Character You Would Like to Play: Blue Lantern

Real Name: Devdas Rayner

Canon or OC: OC

Character Alignment: Hero

Appearance/Costume: Out of costume, Dev has a fairly slim but average size and build for an older teenager, although a fairly large proportion of his body mass is muscle. His skin colour is darker and typical for Indian descent, he has black, typically untidy hair and a gaunt face, with dark brown eyes. He has a reasonable amount of scars around his body, most notably one which runs diagonally across the upper side of his face from right to left, narrowly missing his left eye. When in civilian clothing, he tends towards black and darker colours but always wears his blue lantern ring.

His costume is an angular and armoured variation of the normal blue lantern costume, which is generated from his ring as all lantern costumes are. It has a black base with blue armour in the form of shoulder-pads, a large section of armour on his chest, large gauntlets and boots. The blue lantern logo is in a recess in the centre of his chest armour which glows when he uses his powers, as well as on the edge of his shoulder-pads and the soles of his boots. He wears a large pair of triangular glasses which cover most of his face instead of a mask, with translucent blue lenses and has a black hood which he uses to further obscure his face.

Origin/History of Your Character: Dev was born to a poor family and orphaned at an early age but constantly attempted to improve his status in life. When he was barely into his teens, he came across a member of the Sinestro corps attempting to recruit gang members into the corps and managed to attract the attention of the green lantern Kyle Rayner. The green lantern managed to defeat the invader but that was not the last time the boy experienced the emotional spectrum. Some time later, the yellow lantern returned desiring revenge and discovered that Dev had called Rayner in order to defeat him and found the boy. However, Dev resisted the fear effects of the yellow ring and managed to evade physical attacks for long enough for Sister Sercy of the blue lanterns and Kyle Rayner to arrive.

The villain defeated again, his ring's energy drained by Sercy, the blue lantern observed that the boy's hope was great and he agreed to travel to Odym with her, where he proved his understanding of hope and became the official blue lantern of sector 2841. While able to use his ring effectively even with the lower power available without a green lantern present, his allies worried about his living situation. Eventually, Kyle Rayner agreed to take him in and provide him with a healthy civilian life as well as backup while fighting crime. As years went on, the two lanterns became closer and Rayner eventually adopted Devdas.

Powers and Abilities:
Fighting ability: Dev has high-quality fighting ability, trained over a long period of time.

Blue lantern ring: Dev is the blue lantern of sector 2841 and can use his blue lantern ring to channel the blue power of hope. The most common uses of this include flight, force-fields, energy blasts and constructs. He can also use the ring to manifest and alter his clothing, translate any language, scan for any kind of signal and communicate with other lantern rings. The blue light of hope also has unique interactions with other light which Dev has learned to be able to turn off and on; when close to a green ring both rings increase in power significantly, it can drain energy from a yellow ring, it is immune from being drained by an orange ring and it can cure people affected by the red light of rage. He doesn't have a lantern, as a blue lantern ring fuels itself directly of its users hope and as such its strength is proportional to his own hope.

Weapons: His blue lantern ring, which gives him the powers previously described. It is a small ring with the blue lantern logo that he wears on his right hand.

Supporting Cast: His adoptive father and existing green lantern, Kyle Rayner.

Other: While he doesn't use the title normally, the other blue lanterns all call him "Brother Rayner".

He has vowed to keep his identity secret as long as Kyle does and reveal it only if Kyle reveals his identity.

While he doesn't have many villains of his own, he has inherited a lot of the foes that faced Earth's green lanterns.

He is somewhat frustrated that the blue lantern corps is so low on numbers compared to the other lantern corps.

Sample Post: "...for hope burns bright!" Devdas shouted as he flew through the air towards the collapsing building. The oath was completely unnecessary but he liked it and it seemed to raise moral if a hero was constantly shouting something inspiring. He sped towards the office block, blue light emerging from his form into a glowing aura. He looked over the building and observed all of the people still stuck before creating a large girder out of his light to hold up the top floor. "Everyone stay calm!" The young hero shouted over the wind as he entered through a broken window on the top floor and signaled for everyone to approach him. He made a circle of light beneath them and descended onto the floor bellow. He continued his descent, picking up the people who hadn't reached the stairs before they collapsed as the floors above him started to crumble. As the last of them approached him, a large chunk of flooring from above collapsed on top of them.

As the blue bubble, almost full to bursting with people shot out of the building, some people from the crowds below cheered. He carefully lowered everyone to the ground and opened up the bubble at the edge of the crowd and letting the rescued civilians join the onlookers. "Do not worry. All will be well." As the blue lantern flew back towards the building, he created a few simple blocks to deflect debris away from crowds and back towards the now-ruined building. He didn't know what had caused it but he would make it his mission to find out.

A journalist waved and, not needing to get away quickly, he decided to engage them. He turned up his aura so as to completely obscure his face and flew towards her. "So, Blue Lantern, do you have any comments on the current situation? What do you think caused this?" The journalist, camera at the ready, seemed to have an unending supply of questions so Dev just cut in before she got too far. "I trust that the cause of this collapse will eventually be discovered but I wouldn't jump to conclusions. As of now, everyone is safe and well, which is what really matters." At that, he took off again and flew away. Nailed it.

Not quite finished (needs a sample post, a costume design and a few other things) but I thought I'd get this up as a start.
Character You Would Like to Play: Green Lantern

Real Name: Jen’nai Sayan

Canon or OC: OC

Character Alignment: Hero

Appearance/Costume: It’s OK; she just looks like a fourteen year old girl. Aliens age differently to humans, after all. Roughly speaking, in Tyrodian terms she’s about equal to a human in their early twenties.

Origin/History of Your Character: Technically the Green Lantern of Sector 3026 rather than 2814, Jen’Nai nonetheless found her way to Earth anyway while chasing a fleeing suspect. Once there, she was ordered to stay, if only because of the sheer number of threats to universal peace that the planet seemed to be spawning; with the Guardians rationalising that the local Lanterns would need all the help they could get.

Jen’Nai is a native of the planet Tyrod, and received her ring when she was just a child. In some ways, this has given her something of an inferiority complex; a desire to prove herself after the Corps kept her sheltered for a number of years, not wishing to expose a young girl to the dangers of life as a Lantern until they felt she was ready, and while she has the Will expected of a Green Lantern she can be impetuous, rushing into situations when a more measured approach is called for.

This sheltered existence gave her plenty of time to be educated in the ways of the Corps, and to hone her skills with the Ring. This means that she’s just as competent with it as many of the mature Lanterns, and more than able to hold her own in a tough spot.

Powers and Abilities (If Any):

Weapons (If Any): Supporting Cast (If Any):

Other:

Sample Post (must be a minimum of 2 paragraphs with at least 2 lines of dialogue from your character):

Jen’nai picked her way slowly through the ruins. Rather unusually for her, her progress was cautious rather than headstrong, since she knew there was trouble around her.

And then something jumped up from behind a smashed wall and took a shot at her. She dived to the left, aiming for a rock, and throwing up a shield to deflect the blast coming her way.

However, what she didn’t see was the other construct popping up behind her, and nailing her in the back with a beam of green light.

Up above, a whistle blew, and the constructs vanished. A bulky-looking figure descended from the sky above the training area, dressed in the signature green and black of the Lantern Corps.

“Well, Cadet Sayan, you mind explaining what you did wrong there?” It was Kilowog, drill instructor of the Green Lantern Corps.
“Didn’t watch my back. Left myself wide open running to cover.” Jen’nai kept her head down as she was berated. “Now I’m dead.”
“Correct. Remember that there’s never just one threat, and the other could come at you from anywhere. Don’t get fixated on the one you’re fleeing.”

Just going to post this now, actually. Still need the sample post, but otherwise I hope she's okay. I decided to make her a little different from the DCAU version, partially in the hopes that she eventually reforms and becomes Power Girl but we'll see how things work out. XD

• Character You Would Like to Play: Galatea
• Real Name: Galatea, although occasionally uses the pseudonym "Karen Starr".
• Canon or OC: Canon
• Character Alignment: Villain
• Appearance/Costume: In costume. Due to her intended purpose as a weapon, she doesn't own much in the way of casual clothes. If she does, it'd probably be something like this. Despite the fact that she's smiling in both those picture, don't expect her to be doing much of that; her expression is usually either blank or angry.
• Origin/History of Your Character: Unlike more people, Galatea wasn't born. She was made to order. Developed by Project Cadmus, an organization who believed that those with superpowers were a threat to national security and needed to be contained, she is a clone of Supergirl artificially aged to her physical prime and created to serve as a weapon to take down any rogue metahumans. That was all she was ever treated as, a weapon. In the eyes of all but one of the scientists who made her, she was just a tool for them to use against those with superpowers, and not a real person. The way she was treated was simply abominable, too: when she wasn't out on missions she was kept inside a room bathed in artificial red sunlight to keep her in check, and all her life she had been indoctrinated and practically brainwashed into believing Cadmus's beliefs. Eventually, Professor Hamilton, the one man who treated her like an actual living creature, could take it no more. Risking his career, he ended up setting things up so that Galatea could escape and be free from Cadmus's control. Confused by her new surroundings and still unable to forget the doctrines of Cadmus, she has tried her best to maintain a normal life, but such a thing is currently impossible for her. In the end, when she's not being duped by supervillains into helping them commit crimes, she's been attacking metahumans on instinct, unable to shake off her mental conditioning.
• Powers and Abilities:
•• Superhuman physique: As a Kryptonian, Galatea gains superhuman abilities whilst under a yellow sun. Her strength and stamina is far beyond human limits, and her body is nigh-impervious to harm. Aside from the most excessive of force, her only real weaknesses are the radiation emitted by Kryptonite, and magic, which she possesses no special defences against. In addition, her speed and reflexes are far greater than that of any human, although her running speed still pales in comparison to her flight speed. She will begin to lose her powers if she is removed from yellow sunlight for a prolonged period of time, and red sunlight will instantanteously remove all of her superpowers as long as she is under it.
•• Flight: Galatea is able to fly unaided, at such speeds that she can easily break the sound barrier.
•• Super Senses: Just like her body, Galatea's senses are all honed to superhuman levels. Of most note is her vision; not only is she able to see things from miles away, but she also possesses both x-ray and heat vision.

• Weapons: N/A
• Supporting Cast: Project Cadmus, specifically Professor Hamilton (her father figure) and Amanda Waller (head of Cadmus). Most of them aside from Hamilton are currently after her head.
• Other: Due to being created to act as a weapon, Galatea is not used to showing emotion. Usually, her expression is either blank, but she can be easily angered due to not knowing how to react to a lot of things. She is used to taking orders; as such, she is easily duped and somewhat gullible, especially if the one giving her orders has no metahuman abilities. On that note, as she was designed to fight rogue metahumans, she currently finds it rather difficult to remain calm around them due to her conditioning. It only takes a small spark for her to lose her temper with them.
