Think of a Turtle as having the shape of rectangular box with a sloping forward section that has a large wind screen and the slope under longer than the top half so it can slide on it's belly.
Just behind the pilot seat an co-pilot on either side are small doors that are about the size of the doors on your average mini van. It has small but regularly space side windows, 3 to a side. The rear area is about 4 ft of cargo space with a drop ramp door for easy loading

A Turtle Dimensions are 8 ft across, 6 1/2 high interior 7 1/2 ft exterior and 18 ft long with a gross weight of 7,000 pounds.
It is submerges to depths of 6,000 ft and can fly in a vacuum for about 72 hrs on battery power.
It's battery is a hydrogen Fuel Cell type

I know Turtle is an odd name but it is because of it's one piece shell construction. It's KoSecti Name is Iverret which is an animal similar to a sea turtle on earth. An Iverret is know for it's maneuvering and it's shell which protect it against any predator of Ko'Sect
So while to Earth ears the translation isn't flattering on it's world of origin it is a mark of respect

In Ko'Secti Iverrit means means Sea Shield

Oh wow you guys were very active while I was gone. Sorry I jumped the gun on the launching-thing, but I just tried to make it make sense in my post now. A reason she didn't talk, and sort of picking up where I left off. :3 hope it makes sense.

I would figure that was something the police would have taken care of. Little easier to switch off power at a junction than to destroy all the light fixtures.
