I agree, mind reading is actually really annoying especially when used in role-plays, I think that it is a cheat and takes away from the mystery element in a story. We in RL cannot read minds, if we want to know about someone then we need to ask them or allow them the choice to reveal it themselves. Lol sorry for the rant but I really, REALLY hate Telepathy. I only like it when it involves Professor Charles Xavier :3

I think we all have our moments of being confused or misunderstanding posts. Correcting people in OOC and Merman's delightful and quite accurate summaries are our best way to stay on point. There should be no worries if someone slips. Just catch someone right away to correct them so no ones gets confused. I think we're doing an excellant job of this so far as a group.

I don't know much about radiation on a real world level but thanks @Metro for the education!

IDEA: What if most humans are sterile and a rare few are not? The ones who are not that can bear children give birth to Blessed Ones? The ones who are not sterile are simply passing down genetic codes of adaptation to the radiation; sort of an expedited form of evolution for humans to adapt to their new world, new environment, their bodies keen on survival no matter what it takes. Does that make sense? Does anyone like that idea?

If so I can make Shay get pregnant with someone, her carrying the fertile gene, and she can give birth to a Blessed One. If anyone likes this idea I'll think long and hard on what the Blessed One's powers might be, perhaps something so different and game changing for Paradise Land?

Just throwing ideas out there.

Oh! Also, I like the idea of Marcus reacting to Shay and the beds of Shay and the Russian being in the same room. If we separate characters too much we won't have as much interaction and it won't be as exciting and dynamic!

The Blessed Ones are humans too, they just have certain anomalies like mutants from the X-Men. They're just that, they're mutants. Blessed Ones is just what they're called. Like again, the X-Men. Lol.
The Blessed Ones are actually 1/5 births.

And let's Hold off on any babies for right now.
We're too new into the roleplay. A baby would make action very hard.
We'd be limiting characters to baby Sitting duties.

Guys, I'll be coming up with some setups and descriptions of everything come tomorrow.
I'm gonna give a break down of Paradise City, the lay out of history and everything like that.

There's some ideas I've come with.
The Hightops: The residential area of our Harpies and also all other Blessed Ones who can get there using flight of some sort. It's a housing structure created next to Paradise Land, built in the skeleton of a five-story building.

The Boneyard: The trail leading into Paradise Land. The city is built in the middle of New Orleans, right on the Mississippi. Now if anybody has been to New Orleans, it's a lot of city. The Boneyard is kind of like the destructed city around Paradise Land. There's a stretch of road leading straight from PL to the Red Waste, crumbling city leading out. We're gonna call the Red Waste where one of the bombs hit hundreds of years ago, killing all life and possibility of it in that area.
